I recently had the good fortune of working with Esther Donald on my collaberative divorce. Esther came highly recommeded to me and she lived up to the billing. The divorce process was much more challenging than I had anticipated. Esther was instrumental in getting the divorce done collaberatively, thus preventing litigation. I needed a criminal attorney badly. I spoke with Luka Garica about my case. He agreed to take the case and quoted 50K up to trial. I made an appointment, and paid the down payment, and Luka returned the money within 10-minutes and made an excuse that they had other projects. I am filing a complaint with the bar, and I will also sue for violating a verbal agreement. I cannot tell anyone not to use this law firm. But I will never trust them again. It appears that the law firm wanted to leave me without representation to assist the prosecutors. If I could I would give this law firm a zero. I do not trust them and will protest in front of their building when I get time. Horrible! Unethical and untrustworthy.

Chris Lake is not a good attorney in my opinion. He has mentioned his own mother's divorce multiple times and it shows... he clearly supports the mother in divorce cases even if he is representing the father. This happened to me and many other fathers who were represented by Mr. Lake. He is also incapable of taking any criticism or negative feedback in a constructive way and will just try to blame it on you or someone else. Instead of doing what you want he does what he thinks is best. He also stated negstive things against me in court as a way to make me seem humble and that ended up backfiring. Chris of course blamed it on the judge. He needs to realize many many families have now been adversely affected by his interference. You will be remembered Mr. Lake as a unprofessional and incompetent attorney and an unethical person.
