I had first contacted Nancy Chausow-Schaeffer on a referral in early 2014 when my previous marriage, where I had two young children, was having alarming marital issues. Nancy was able to take an objective view and guide me through the process of divorce in a calm and patient manner while also being very professional while interacting with my soon-to-be ex-wife's attorney. The divorce went smooth and finalized quickly over two months. Nancy reassured me that she would be there for me if issues arose over the next 17 years.
I ended up retaining Nancy’s services again, just a few years post decree due to a JPA modification my ex-wife requested. Over the next 5 1/2 years, my ex-wife had a few marital changes, employment changes, and created a very challenging co-parenting environment. Nancy was by my side the whole way and kept us focused non-related topics arose. With a final order in place, I believe Nancy did the best she could to obtain a fair outcome and will be by my side if challenges come up again in the future. I would recommend Nancy to anyone looking for an attorney who will objectively guide you through the divorce process and then be there when future family law needs occur.

Though I don’t remember how I met Cari and her team at Rincker Law, I do remember that it was the best choice I could have made during a challenging time in my life. Struggling through a painful divorce, I needed someone who could provide a nice balance of professionalism and empathy.

I had a very good impression from Marie from the start. When I first called the office they told me she was out of town for the week but she got back to me on Sunday NIGHT to schedule a consultation. That speaks for itself. You can tell she's very dedicated and passionate about her job. The first time we talked on the phone I felt like I had taken a whole course in family law! It is difficult to express my full appreciation of the work that Ms. Bennett and her team accomplished in what I would consider a difficult divorce. Although, by definition it was a collaborative divorce process, it seemed at times to press the boundaries. No coincidence, Stuart knows how to earn every star -- and my experience with him tells me he delivers beyond five stars. Great attention to detail, phenomenal understanding of complex financials, does not try to be your psychologists and sticks to the facts, very honest and very sensitive to not spending too much time on senseless discussion that can only lead to higher legal fees. Handled my complex financial case in most masterful of ways. After first hearing, I thought it was over, but Stuart help me identify most important gaps and we worked together to turn things around. At one point, my soon to be ex, and in reference to Stuart, said "the M...F... is good!" I am so blessed and fortunate to have found and worked with Stuart and his staff. It’s easy finding a divorce lawyer. They are all over the internet. But finding a good divorce lawyer? Not so easy. Once divorce becomes the logical solution, finding the proper family attorney is undoubtedly one of the most important decisions to be made.
A good one becomes more than a lawyer. A good family attorney can, and in many cases will, become more than your advocate. They are the foundational expert in legal matters—family and financial—that will lay the groundwork for the post-divorce landscape. They can become your defender, confidant and, at times, even a part time amateur therapist. Given all of that responsibility, finding a skilled and conscientious divorce lawyer that a client can trust is of paramount importance.
Without reservation I can say that Leah Griffin is an outstanding family attorney that provides the assurance and confidence that is required. She ticks all the boxes listed for proficiency and professionalism.
I hired Leah to represent me in my divorce in 2018. My divorce was an extraordinarily difficult and complex process with many personal and financial angles to measure, manage and negotiate. The set of circumstances involved children, property and a very large estate with multiple trusts and investments to consider and maneuver through and around.
Once Leah was presented with all of the details of this highly complex situation, she was able to synthesize the information and, ultimately, present to me a set of potential options with their likely outcomes. She made sure that I understood what the implications were for each decision that I had to make regarding my children as well as my financial future with its inherent responsibilities. Her extensive experience in situations similar to mine provided her with the proper context to assist me in finding a solution that would set the roadmap for my post-divorce life and that of my children.

Our working relationship with Mr. Seigler spanned over 4 years. It was not associated with criminal defense, but with civil problems regarding an easement. Mr. Seigler was contacted & hired after another local lawyer was paid to get resolution to the problem, but failed to take timely action. This attorney was knowledgeable and, most importantly, transparent. He didn’t frivolously charge me for every single, tiny interaction (although he isn’t cheap either)... but my ex-husband’s attorney didn’t! You get what you pay for. He was also honest with me about his knowledge in regards to opposing counsel for my divorce. He allowed me to be involved in editing documents as I felt comfortable, carefully reviewing them after the fact to ensure that they were realistic and enforceable. He was quick on his feet in helping me get out of a very tough spot, especially upon initial consultation. In fact, he had an emergency document drawn up for me within an hour! I walked away from my divorce with my sanity and proper child-support/parenting time of my child without having to go to court (all settled between the two attorneys). He comes across as fair, realistic, and level-headed.

We hired Daci Jett to create living trusts for us. She did an excellent job, walking us through the process, helping us think through the many different issues. Ms Jett was personable, had a good sense of humor and was easy to work with. Meetings were held on-time and kept to time. Her follow through was great and she kept us well-informed of the process - we worked mostly through email. When we had tasks to accomplish, she communicated very clearly exactly what we needed to do. She gave us very complete documentation at the end. We felt that she always kept our interests primary in all decisions.
We did not go through an extensive selection process to choose an estate attorney. Based on a referral, we met for an initial meeting, felt very comfortable and proceeded to hire her.
Overall, I would highly recommend her and her services.

I wanted to locate an attorney to work for me regarding a divorce. Interviewed several people initially. Susan spent time up front to explain the entire process in detail for me. The others did not really want to do this! I had no experience with this situation or any resources to utilize during this event. I highly recommend Susan as an attorney. She represented me in my divorce and I was pleased with the agreement we reached with my ex. She was prompt with returning phone calls and emails. I picked Susan because she represented my friend's ex-wife and he said she was much better than the lawyer he had. She was very thorough, friendly, but was tough as well. I think in a divorce no one is going to get all of what they want, but the most important thing to me was joint custody of my kids and some holidays, none of which their mother wanted me to have.
