Capstone was about the only law firm willing to deal with Seterus Mortgage, a subsidiary of IBM, that violated debt collection practices allowed in California. I could not be happier that Seterus ended up paying out a lot of Californians and spending a lot of money on defense and plaintiff costs but wish the checks had been more to everyone. California law protected Seterus from a larger payment with a ceiling on the awarded damages. Seterus looks like it will continue to have more problems with other suits against their inept billing practices that generated phone calls to Californians at crazy hours, including after payments had been made and the account was current. Capstone represented many of us against Seterus as they were not willing to settle until Capstone Law convinced the courts and Seterus that they had violated civil law after the suit was prematurely dismissed in San Diego, leading the case to California appeals and Supreme courts before Seterus was willing to agree to settle.

Consulting Ethan Tidwell was an absolute godsend during my complex divorce case that involved the nightmare complexities of custody issues, finances, and an abusive/vindictive ex-spouse who falsely spread accusations about me during the divorce in an attempt to secure sole custody and leave the state with my children. And prevent my children from having a relationship with their father. Whenever Ethan was available for consultation, he was consistent in providing extremely valuable, honest, and reliable information. I was impressed in how I could ask Ethan any question and he always had an answer right away backed by extensive knowledge, objective facts, and a strong understanding of the inner workings of family court. He is also able to remember facts well and can regurgitate granular details from our conversations of months prior. This gave me confidence in speaking to him about my case. His guidance helped me in not only the legal aspects of my case but also in maintaining a positive bearing during what was one of the most emotionally-difficult periods of my life. I recently had the pleasure of working with Barbara Hammers, an attorney at Hammers & Baltazar, on my divorce. I was very nervous about the process, but Barbara made it as easy and stress-free as possible. She is extremely professional, patient, and knowledgeable. She took the time to explain everything to me in detail and answer all of my questions. She was also very responsive to my emails and phone calls.
I know I was a bit of a pain in the tush at times, but Barbara always remained calm and collected. She was never judgmental or condescending. She made me feel like I was her only client and that she genuinely cared about my well-being.

WOW is the first word that comes to mind about Warren. I had a tough case fighting for custody of my teenager. It is hard to enforce custody orders when your child is older and it was imperative to have enforceable orders as the clock was running out. His orders along with Ex Parte's to get the job done in the shortest time we could do, were amazing. Warren knew just the orders to ask for that were enforceable. If you are coming from your heart as a parent for the best interest of your child, taking steps towards that goal consistently and with determination. Warren can help you move forward as soon as possible for the best interest of your child. I highly recommend him so very much!!

Mr Shiell recently represented me for almost one
year in a prolonged, complicated, legal action to
reduce and or eliminate my alimony obligation.
Warren is extremely knowledgeable, fair,
responsive, wise, and very experienced with a
chaotic legal system. He knew which additional
experts were critical to the successful resolution
of my case.
Although Warren gives the appearance of being
very calm and "laid back" he is a tough negotiator
and always represented my best interests against
a team of lawyers who were aggressive and

Warren is an excellent attorney. Last year he represented me in an international move away case. I moved back to South Korea with my children and Warren successfully won a trial in which the Los Angeles Court decided that the case and custody was better decided by a Korean Court. He was well prepared, highly organized, knowledgeable about the law and procedures. In Korea, I won custody of my children and I have sole custody.
There can be no enough rating for his wonderful service and for this excellent lawyer. I strongly recommend Warren as an attorney.

BEST LAW FIRM.
Hi everyone, my name is Karen. I have had an accident on last year in LA.I was driving a rental vehicle and the rent a car company was suing me for that accident.
I have talk you more than 50 lawyers, and only Greg took the case.
When I was talking and explaining the situation to different lawyers, each of them were saying that they won't be able to work with it.
I'm not gonna write all the details here, because it will take 1 full day.
Long story short. Greg won it, and dismissed the case.

This firm contacted me as Prestige Legal Solutions P.C. Their name did not say anything about lemon cases. In the past I had a lemon case that was not as bad as this case and the past attorney got a settlement above $17,000. Prestige got me a $5,000 settlement and it seemed low but I my understanding was that it was not a lemon. Their rep was inducing me to take the $5000 saying the offer could be withdrawn if they had not already. Had they been clear about my case qualifying as a lemon case, I would have not accepted. My case had some of the biggest problems with the Bolt EV. I was not allowed to park in some parking lots because the idea was that it could catch on fire. It was one of the vehicles that required a new battery after failed repairs. After, I asked why so little and they said because the did not submit any records of repairs. I said you did not ask me for the records and they had no answer for that. I spoke to other attorneys and they said they would have gotten me around $20,000. I understand that the other attorneys say that amount and are not putting it in writing but in the past an attorney that handled a lemon case for me settled the case around $20,000. I think it was much higher than that but it has been a while and don't remember exactly. This past case was a much smaller problem. I did not give him this case because I did not know it was a lemon. Prestige contacted me asking me if I had any problems and they misled me instead of saying straight out that they would handle it as a lemon case. Always call other attorneys before signing a settlement from them. I have tried to speak to the attorney who handled my case and I cannot get past the front employees. I have asked them for the communications that went on with opposing counsel that led to that settlement and have been denied.

Prestige Legal took 10k our of 14k settlement, I got 4k, unethical in my opinion, auto was in my wife Deborah name and still have not recieved even the $4000 out of the $14000 settlement they claim. I can't believe this has only happened to us-they have sworn to California ehical standards,??

I worked with Joanne on a prenuptial agreement. This was my first time dealing with a lawyer so I had no idea what to expect. Joanne was extremely professional, responsive, and easy to work with. She explained the process to me very thoroughly and I truly feel like she had my best interests at heart. Let me start off by saying I usually don’t go and Karen over issues like this BUT . Come on now I have a lemon law case with quill & arrow . We filed back in March of 2023 . I bought a pretty expensive car roughly over 100 k and as soon as I purchased it a month later it was giving me issues . Took it to the dealers ( multiple ) and they couldn’t fix it . I had video evidence and tons of paperwork showing the issues . Fast forward now going on 18 months with basically no update . If I don’t call I don’t receive any type of updates. And when I do call I get “ they are working hard on your case “ for last 6 months . It’s frustrating because I’m trying to get out of this car and purchase another one . Help
