My brother was hit in the of his truck on duty. The defendant and the cop in charge of reporting the crime to the court have tried to intimidate and blame my brother to be at fault of the incident. We asked for Mr. Yeargan’s help and he fully represented my brother and won the case. My brother was not found guilty in anyways.

He is an amazing Lawyer with amazing staff as well. Words are not enough to describe how Tom in handling our case for a wrongful death of our son. He is the best lawyer out there! He kept us in the loop from the start to finish. Explains all the things we needed to know and so easy to communicate with. He responds with all our inquiry right away. He lightened our load in some way so to speak by not stressing us out throughout the process but was working hard for our case to be done in a way we will not be stressed, but him working dedicatedly. Only few like him that shows genuine concern and dedication not just to our case but to us and our family. Very professional and with excellent work ethics. Very knowledgeable and smart. My two young daughters like him a lot that they asked us to give him something to remember them all the time , a build the bear that they dressed up just like him. I met and retained Mr. Smith in early 2009 to represent me in a medical malpractice claim. That claim was subsequently settled through mediation in early 2011. It is difficult to put into words how appreciative I was having Mr. Smith as my attorney. He was extremely knowledgeable (not only regarding legal issues, but also in understanding the multiple medical issues I was having), highly professional at all times, was able to explain every step of the process to me so I (as a non-attorney) understood what was being done from start to finish, and was just an all-around compassionate and highly competent professional.

Steven and his assistant Julia were and are the perfect professionals with the patience and expertise and experience to guide me through my first and hopefully last divorce. I was and am probably their most disorganized client ever and after a 30 relationship ended at total wreck. But there is light at the end of the tunnel and not only did they get me through the darkness but where and still are my most trusted councilors. It’s a tough process and they provide sound advice with positive results. It’s difficult to feel good but they helped to at least make me more financially stable and make sense of the legal process and still
be there as this process and period comes to a conclusion and a new period begins. I’m more the wiser and better educated because of them. I highly recommend them.

Jason Weis represented me in a post-divorce matter to look at spousal support. This case was a bit more complicated and required hiring a couple experts and Jason was awesome throughout everything. The experts he suggested were excellent and really helped our case. He and his whole team were extremely detail oriented, kind and polite to deal with (which makes a HUGE difference to me), and were really thinking about every angle and aspect to make sure we presented the best possible case. In court, I was blown away. It was clear throughout our 3 days in court that he was the better attorney, made sure all our evidence was presented and we got everything in that we thought was important, and always kept a calm and focused demeanor. The case ended up better than I ever could have imagined and am SO thankful that I was able to find Jason. Jenny, his paralegal, was also great to work with and helped make sure all documents were provided, didn't miss anything, and kept everything for this whole case extremely organized. Mr. Laufar not only approached the case as requested, he also introduced other variables that resulted in a larger award. He explained parts of the law that we were not aware of at the time. Had we gone to Mr. Laufar 6 months earlier, we would have had a much larger award than obtained at the end of the case. If any follow-up work is required, we will definitely go back to Mr. Laufar and we do recommend him for any legal action.

In 2021 our Grandaughter was born and due too negligence of the hospital she sustained a lot of injuries including brain also , due too lack of Oxygen. Unfortunately, while we were traveling from Pennsylvania to Virginia for vacation, my family and I were involved in a serious crash with a dump trunk. Our auto liability case just settled (March, 2015) and we are happy that our representation was superior and exceeded our expectations. Matt and his boss Steve Frei took our case even though it was a week from the filing due date and while fairly straight-forward, it wasn't particularly big bucks. They both showed excellent judgement as all of their recommendations were spot-on. At all times, they were prepared, discussed our concerns thoroughly, and kept us well informed. At trial he was sharp, well prepared, kept his cool under hostile questioning, and made his arguments effectively. The judge gave us 30% more than the insurance co offered. Although I was initially concerned that he was young, he performed as well as a much more experienced trial attorney. I work closely with many top lawyers for more than two decades and can be fairly critical and meticulous -probably more so than their peers would say- so its no small matter to say I found his performance to be of high quality, competently done and I highly recommend him.
