Worked with Brian Thompto as an attorney to file my Green card and he was so unreponsive, careless, rude and never ever replied back to my emails neither calls. Wasted my 15 months for PWD and PERm and end result is it got denied because of his mistake to not including my skills in ETA-9089 besides providing him all the details. Even after it got denied, he seems like nothing happened and jeopardizing my future and now i am left with no option else than leaving US as my time is getting closer. I would definitely not recommend him and I still can't believe that i am not the first person to give this type of review but still he is serving in this organization. Seems like all Attorneys here are like same where no one care about their clients. If you wish to waste your time and money, please hire from here.

I hired Brian after being involved in a car accident in an Uber in 2019 in downtown Chicago that left me permanently injured.
He left the firm he was with when I first hired him and went out on his own. Instead of staying with that firm which I should have done, I allowed him to take my case files with him which turned out to be a massive mistake.
Everything began fine but when Uber put up the slightest bit of resistance he immediately tried pushing me for a very low settlement offer that didn’t even cover my medical bills. During the slow down from the pandemic, he totally disappeared on me and only responded to me reaching out to him after multiple requests. When I changed counsel, he delayed sending over the case file multiple times. He also decided to copy my new attorney and their paralegal on a very snarky unprofessional email that he sent to me yesterday. I wasn’t going to leave him a bad review anywhere until he did that. Brian obviously saw the case initially as a layup where he can get paid a large sum and then when it turned out that it was going to require some actual work he didn’t want to do that. I would avoid using him if you are reading this. I am actually considering filing a complaint against him with the bar association due to his unprofessional actions and his breach of a responsibility to me as a client.

Brian Lewis is an excellent attorney. After I was involved in a life-threatening motorcycle accident, a friend introduced me to Brian and his law firm. Brian is highly respected for his personal injury work. He is also the President of the Lake County Bar Association. Brian's main office is located in Waukegan which is in Lake County, but he handles cases all over. I live near Joliet and my case was in Will County. Brian is professional and compassionate. He helped me through a difficult time in my life and I couldn't be more appreciative of what he did for me.

Back in the1980's, I hired Randy Taradash for a minor criminal matter. The Court clerk made a mistake on the file by entering a conviction when there was no conviction. I did not find out about the error until the early '90s. I called his law firm but they would do nothing correct the error -- I had to do it myself. This is obviously one of those opportunist lawyers who is just in it for the quick buck, with no concern for doing the job right.

Working with Randy has been by far, one of the best legal experience Ive ever had. He was genuinely invested our case. He always made it a point to keep me informed. I really appreciated that about Randy.
The likelihood of handling this case ourselves and coming to a fair resolution was highly impossible. Randy managed to turn a very difficult and sensitive case into a positive outcome. His method and approach ended the case within a reasonable amount of time.

I have to take a moment to recognize Michael Craven and Kevin Salzstein for their amazing support and expertise during my tumultuous divorce process. They were both very knowledgeable and kept me informed throughout the entire process. I was made aware of my rights and what I was entitled to by law. When I made a decision on whether or not to pursue something, my choice was respected and I felt confident in my decision.
Both were very easy to work with and respected my time. Michael is well versed in business law as well, which I found helpful as an entrepreneur. Although I did not consider my divorce to be high conflict, when things did become stressful or intense, they remained professional and helped to keep me calm as well. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a lawyer who is authentic, who has a sense of humor, and who gets results. I was traveling with my boyfriend to Edwardsville when we got in a minor car crash, I thought I was fine but I had a lot of neck pain after the incident. A friend referred Pignatelli and Associates since she had the same experience and they did a great job on her, so I decided to hire them as well. I'm so thankful for my friend who referred me to this law firm which helped me a lot to get a settlement from my insurance that covered and reimbursed my medical bills until I recovered.

Terrible Communication, dragging my case on forever, charging premium prices for a very “Wish” style service. Lacked accountability. When being questioned on progress of case and why it’s been at a stand still they dropped me. No warning. No phone call or discussions. Dropped. After I paid an insane amount of money and they did the bare minimum.. I would never recommend Pignatelli lawfirm again. They are not the lawfirm they were 10-20 years ago. A shame the name has torn itself apart.

The Law Firm of Mertes and Mertes really helped my family through some rough times. The whole staff was awesome. Each case is assigned to a specific paralegal or legal assistant from the beginning. What this meant for me is that I always talked to the same person who always knew what was going on in my case. That means a lot when your whole future depends upon the outcome of the case. They explained things from the very start, and didn't make us feel stupid when we asked questions. I recommend them to everyone! This law firm is amazing!

Jim Mertes is a great lawyer. He has represented me twice now, and I have referred my family and friends to him. They have also been thrilled with him. You can actually see him in action by searching his name in youtube and watching his opening and closing arguments in a first degree murder trial. After that three-week trial, his client was found not guilty of first degree murder in just 22 minutes! My case was not nearly as big as that case, but he treated it with just as much care and attention.

My daughter was mauled by a dog and suffered because of the attack. The attorneys and staff at Burger Law stuck with us through a 2.5 year fight with the uncooperative dog owners. It is a huge weight that has been lifted now that everything is settled. I went to Mr. Clinton in distress when I was experiencing some issues at law school. Thankfully, I ended up just transferring to another law school and ultimately did not pursue my issues. I am still writing this review years later because I feel reviews can help people so much when selecting an attorney and my consultation with Mr. Clinton is one that really helped me to find peace.
Attorney Clinton came across as a very knowledgeable and helpful person. I have interacted with many attorneys as I am one myself and I can honestly say that very few were as kind as Mr. Clinton. Oftentimes, attorneys can be snippy, but he was not. He is honest about if he can help you or not. At the same time, he remains a very sympathetic person whether he can help you or not. Rest assured, you can tell him your about your possible case and all your problems with no judgment. I also like the types of cases he worked on. I felt they were very noble causes and this was the reason I called him to begin with when I was having the issues I was having.

I had 4 lawyers in all. The first one I feel was inexperienced. In my deposition the other lawyers asked me a question. If you looked down would you have been able to see the cracks. I tried not not answer with a direct yes, but after more than once asking they finally asked it in a way I said yes. I was told later .this question lost my case. I feel he should have stopped them or re asked the question in my favor. He did not. The others I think did their best.

I really appreciate Bill Tapella as a lawyer. He handled our son's adoption. He looked into the eyes of my son, talked with him as a person (not just a child), and answered all my questions - even the overly emotional, panicky, ones that didn't make sense to anyone but me. He taught us the process and communicated with us the entire time. His assistant is also the best in the business...knowledgeable, kind, good listening ear, organized. They make a great team!
