I had very negative experiences using this firm. I had a very straightforward case that this firm had for several years. They neglected to move my case forward and kept assigning me to new associates until finally after like 20k in legal fees they sent me a letter saying they wouldn’t represent me anymore because their associate was leaving their firm. I found a new attorney that had my case settled in a matter of a couple months for a fraction of the cost. My new attorney couldn’t believe how poorly my case was handled. If you like paying bills and seeing your case go nowhere then you’ve found a great fit. If that’s not your thing keep looking.

Bob and Tina made the whole divorce process much less painful than it could haved been. They were able to always answer my questions, and provide the information that I needed. Bob was very agressive on my part and really fought for my rights, and Tina was always on top of everything with regards to responding to my questions and coordinating my schedule with Bob's, and Tina always had a smile in her voice.

I would never hire her for an attorney I would never recommend her to anyone. If you ever have her as a mediator on one of your cases I would be very concerned for you, because this person is bias with her recommendations in mediations and she does take sides. She charges you $1,000 for a mediation and you end up throwing your money away because of her taking sides in a case and not being professional at all; so please don't get ripped off by this person she's a scam.

They were very helpful and didn't just work on getting my case resolved but Tina was always so nice, welcoming and checked on how I was feeling due to my injuries in my accident. The helped resolved what I felt was difficult to go through. I didn't have to worry about all the medical bills because they issued it put for me. Tina was always on top of things and took very great care of me, she was very knowledgeable and helpful in so many ways because of her I will be okay and leave my accident behind me. Hello. I had a very unpleasant experience with Will Jenkins. Just because he passed the BAR and is well-versed in legal and lawyer jargon does not give him the right to bully me or speak to me in a disrespectful fashion. I text him with a few qus re: personal property on a transaction he was overseeing and he started throwing words out like "breach of contract allows us to void the contract", "im still allowing you to pick it up at this point", and "pick it up at this time or im selling it to someone else... All because i had concerns and asked a few simple questions. I then went in to make a final pymt. I told him i didnt appreciate him being disrespectful and bullying me prior in those texts and that id like to speak to the Senior Partner to express my concerns. He says "you bullied a woman", "im a partner, the senior partner is not available, you can talk to me" "Hes going to side with me anyways" I told him ill never do business here nor will i refer anyone. The cherry on top-- he proceeds to say: " WHO CARES; WE'LL BE SUCCESSFUL ANYWAY" lol what kind of legitimate, professional law firm does business like that? Do they really engage the community and perspective clients like that? I was blown away. I even emailed the Senior Partner. He never responded. I guess he did side with him... Oh well. Just wanted to share my experience. Dont come here...

My call and potential case were quickly screened by the receptionist/legal assistant, and I was told she would pass my information to the legal team/attorneys to review. A few days later I received a call back that the legal team would not offer me a free consultation with no explanation. I asked if I could be referred anywhere in the area that could help with legal advice. She could not give me any information, resources, and did not call me back when I asked for an hourly rate to have legal advice and questions answered. I felt left in the dark and would not recommend this law firm.

I could write pages on the incredibly positive experience my mom and I had with Brian Egolf, Heather Tanner, and the staff at Egolf+Ferlic+Martinez+Harwood law firm. I reached out to them in the most devastating moment in our life when my mom and I lost my brother, Patrick, due to what we believed was because of the negligent care he received by two medical facilities. We hired her as our initial attorney, paid everything in full in regards to a child custody/relocation case. We were told our case would not go in our favor if we continued and that relocation cases are difficult, didn’t know why we were trying in the first place etc etc. We are happy to report that, after firing Melanie, we successfully won our case that was supposed to be “impossible to win”, and living together as a happy family out of state. I do not recommend this attorney for any family law cases.

I have had the misfortune to need the services of a number of different legal firms in the past and I can confidently say that this was one of the best, if not the best, experience I have had. From being very responsive to any questions and concerns I had, being very clear about the options and possible outcomes, I simply couldn't ask for better. I was referred to James Montalbano by NM Legal Aid, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. From the start, he didn’t seem very personable and gave the impression he was primarily interested in the financial aspect. I barely had the chance to share my full story; when I mentioned it was a long one, he cut me off and asked for the ‘short version.’ Even then, he interrupted me with a loud sigh and questioned why I couldn’t just move on. I explained that, while I have moved on, I believe companies should be held accountable for treating employees unfairly. His response was blunt—stating that he doesn’t know what damages I could seek and no lawyer would take a case without a financial incentive. I understand his point, but the way he said it came across as dismissive and unprofessional. I would not recommend him to anyone seeking understanding or empathy. I later consulted with a different attorney who was much more compassionate and provided alternative options to explore.

I feel like I’m never being heard when it comes to anything dealing with my case right now. They never get back to me when I call them about anything. I’m always having to reach out constantly about my case. Mike never knows anything that’s going on with it. He’s just plain out rude. I noticed the only time they try and do or correct anything is when they’re given a bad review. So maybe they’ll actually do something now. I wouldn’t give any stars if I was allowed that option.

I received bare minimum from Luke and his paralegal. Luke withdrew from my case 3 weeks before my jury trial. Because " I made a situation that he no longer wanted to represent me" which really was because he didn't like me telling him that he wasn't representing me the way he could and should have. I signed important documents that were under my name but with someone else's charges and information. And I had to be the one that went out of my way to figure that part out. And again at the end sent me paperwork with someone elses name on it to sign with the excuse of it was a "typo" No actually what it is just happened to be carelessness on their part. I sent email after email asking if it was possible to negotiate an offer for me one way or another and at first yes I did say I wasn't going to take a plea because I wasnt guilty and I had enough proof to prove that. So instead of sitting me down and breaking down the ins and outs of case and what we could, couldn't ,should,and shouldnt do it was left at that. No more information about anything. And if I did receive any kind of response it was bare minimum at the most. Luke threatened to withdraw and refund my money more than once during the time he was representing me basically "if I didn't like the way he was doing things that I could go else where" when things get hard and he's supposed to do his job and actually fight for the people he's representing them he either bails on them or pushes them towards a decision thats not the best outcome they would have gotten else where. I should have saved myself 1000s of dollars and a whole lot of headache and stress and tried to represent myself or go with a public defender.

When you go through a tough time with an employer,treated completely unfairly, and then retaliated against throughout employment, then get terminated under false accusations, you feel just beaten. I decided I didn’t want to stay down and perhaps allow it to happen to others. I contacted Legal Solutions of New Mexico LLC. I went through the process so even be considered for consultation to finally be contacted for consultation with Erin Pitcher. We discussed everything and when I was told she would take my case but I had to do more in order to get letter of Right to Sue which I was told would take 3-6 months. This put a fire under my butt and I didn’t feel alone anymore. She said as soon as I get it to let her know and she will file lawsuit. I got one of the letters so called right away to be told her case load is full and might give referrals. Here’s the thing, I was never told maybe, or if she has room. She was definitive when we spoke. I’m waiting for one more letter which am told my previous employer has hired a law firm and requesting more time. Now since I started the process I’m stuck no help no referrals and against a company with hired law firm. I can’t give up and will and I have to take full responsibility for taking someone’s word that I don’t know. I’m here so that nobody goes through this cause it’s a situation I don’t think anyone should be put in. Unfortunately this has no affect on them but this is my life. I just hope this helps someone. I learned a huge lesson for sure.

Joseph Karnes lacks experience, transparency, honesty, or integrity. He is not qualified to handle real estate issues in Northern New Mexico, and tries to charge like an experienced lawyer would, without doing any research or attaining any results. He tried to charge me $3,200 for a few emails, a phone call where he just talked without listening most of the time, and writing a letter. $600 retainer down the drain, I'm better off handling the issue in question without him. What a clown.
