We had a very bad experience with Mr. Hwang. This was the only appointment we had with him. I think he is impersonal, angry, self absorbed and not patient.
What do people need when they are going through the worst of their lives? -Patience, kindness and awareness of other people’s feelings, as death can be devastating for the family and friends.
Knowledge without these traits is like getting a big enciclopedia.

My case was related to an issue with an shipping claim by a major company used by many Americans that was damaged in transit. Insurance was paid for and the shipping company did not accept responsibility and pay the claim. After Ron addressed my case he was able to get a settlement for me which I am quite pleased with.

Ronald Downs handled my car accident claim, that has gone on for nearly two years, and has handled everything exceptionally. He's walked me through all of the best possible ways and solutions to handle my case through and through, and has always been extremely professional with communication. Although as professional as he is, Ron can be very laid back, and is great at maintaining equal energy with his clients.

I hired Ron to represent me in a Personal Injury Claim involving a Motor Vehicle Accident. He was there for me through the entire process from filing the tort claim to arbitration. I have been a trial attorney for over fifteen years. When I was injured in a car wreck, I looked carefully for an injury attorney who: a) would take away all of the hassle and stress of personally having to deal with claims adjusters and opposing counsel; b) would not only keep me informed on a regular basis of the status of my case, but proactively make sure I was doing all the things I needed to do on time; c) knew Personally Injury law thoroughly -- both substantively and with demonstrated litigation experience -- from the claims stage all the way through courtroom litigation; and, d) MOST IMPORTANTLY, one who was not afraid to seek the best possible outcome in my case aggressively. (I have been around enough attorneys to know that many are either afraid of litigation/trial, or they want to take the first or second counter offer from the other side because it's quick money in the bank.)
Elizabeth exceeded my expectations on all four of my requirements. I consider myself to be pretty on the ball with my to-do checklists, but sometimes when I slacked on sending in treatment reports to the firm, for example, she would email me personally reminding me to get a, b, or c done, and would also update me with that status of the case/negotiation so I always understood exactly where things were.
In addition, on our second settlement obtained (the UIM claim), Elizabeth was actually confident that she could get the other side to an even better number than she'd already negotiated. It was me who let her know that I trusted that she could, but that just for my peace of mind I wanted to settle at the good enough number she already obtained and move on with my life. She would have kept fighting, though, and with confidence.
I know another attorney who also retained her and came away also completely pleased with the communication and with the outcome.

Gavin Bruce, what to say… He is really just the best. It’s like an as seen on TV lawyer but he BACKS IT UP. I really can’t rave enough about Gavin— or GB as I call him. He keeps it professional but knows how to knock back a Costco pizza if the time comes. This lawyer really puts the GAVE in gavel. He also volunteers his time as a local mock trial coach and orphan saver. The kids cannot say enough good about him, I’ve heard they make fun of his bald head (the one drawback) but he takes it in good faith, just like his practice. Right now he is a federal prosecutor or as his convicted call him “satan spawn” but he only puts away the bad guys. If he ever comes out of retirement and starts his own practice let me tell you, he is the big man with a big plan.

I was hit by a drunk driver in Sunriver while on vacation. While I herniated a disc, I had a ton of preexisting conditions that complicated everything. I am a lawyer and thought I could handle this but when the insurance company rejected my $15,000 settlement demand, I called a defense lawyer I knew in Redmond for a recommendation and without hesitation recommended Tim. I hired him and he and his Assistant, Julie, took over everything. 6 months later I had my deposition (where I thought I did poorly) but a month later Tim had secured a $300,000 policy limits offer!! No IME. I did not have surgery. It was an absolutely wonderful result. The best I could have hoped for. Hire Tim. You want the best on your side.

We hired Patrick Angel to handle our car accident when my wife was rear ended a couple of years ago. Jeremiah was amazing, helping me with every part of my case. Derek Larwick is one of the best I have come across. He'll evaluate your case and give you an honest answer as to whether or not it would be prudent to move forward. No BS, no "ambulance chaser" mentality, just a straightforward, knowledgeable dude. His staff is great as well-- very responsive and sweet. My feelings about him were validated the day I walked into his office and saw what looked like a florists' shop more than an attorney's office. Mr Cook was able to assist me legally with a situation where I was more or less, backed up against a wall, and thankfully resolved in a matter of days. It's nice to have immediate responses and that's exactly what I received.

I can't say enough about Grant Cook, representing me in two different cases. In two separate courts. One case against a landlord. The other a family court matter. I found him to be thorough and an excellent communicator. Kept me in the loop with information as he received it. He spoke in a way that gave me a clearer understanding of the laws as they pertained to my cases. I know it can be frustrating for some who hire other representation and feel out of the loop or spoken down to. Not so with Grant. Mr. Huegli is the finest attorney I have ever known. He has an uncanny ability to research and locate all evidence and put forth the finest preparation for trial. He represented us in the successful prosecution of an individual fraudulently promoting himself as a financial advisor to an elderly member of our family. His unyielding efforts were central to evidence prepared for the county prosecutor leading to the conviction of a perpetrator on more than 10 counts of first degree theft. Without Mr. Huegli's tenacity and thoroughness, a similar outcome would have been unlikely.

Mr. Kuhlman was wonderful. He was very helpful and knowledgeable. He kept me informed of the process, of what both he and I needed to do along the way (i.e. paperwork). He also gave me updates so that I was not wondering about the case. I greatly appreciated being able to put my mind at ease knowing that I chose a great lawyer to help me win my case. I was fortunate enough to have Mr Huegli as my attorney during my DUI case. My case was difficult to prove because the police officer was not completly honest in his investigation and actually violated the law in order to charge me with a DUI. Mr. Huegli analyzed the events, the investigation and police reports and was able to determine what actually occurred. He then put a strategy together to prove this in court. I was most impressed with Mr Huegli's litigation and delivery during the trial. In the courtroom he was able to examine and cross-examine so that the jury could understand what actually happened. It was obvious that the police officer was not being entirely honest as Mr. Huegli cross-examined him on the witness stand. The jury deliberated for less than an hour and I was found "not guilty." I would highly recommend Mr. Huegli for legal representation.

I won't get into too many details about my personal case, however I can tell you that Todd knows the law inside and out. The D.A. tried to bring in a bunch of evidence that would have really killed me and Todd knew exactly how to handle it all. He did an awesome job keeping stuff out of the trial and in the end I was WAY better off having Todd on my side.
If you are looking for a criminal defense or DUI attorney, look no further. Todd is really nice, explains everything to you, and then is a machine in the court room.

I'm from CA, but had a little too much to drink while in Portland, OR and got a DUI. Todd defended me and did an awesome job. Todd did a great job keeping the DA honest and making sure they could only bring in evidence that was relevant. The details of my case were very involved and Todd did a great job making sure the inadmissible stuff stayed out of the trial. Overall, I couldn't recommend Todd more. He is a very nice guy, easy to work with, and understands the law very well.

At 8 months pregnant the car I was driving got t-boned and totaled by a vehicle that ran a stop sign.
