Jim took my son's case which was a horrible tragedy. He walked me through the process the entire time and managed my expectations. Miriam was recommended to me by a good friend that worked under her while in law school. The prospect of my collecting anything seemed slim at the outset. I was hit by a car while riding my bike and the car took off. I had significant injuries to my face and head. I didn't think there was anything I could do in this situation, but my friend insisted and I went to see Miriam. She listened to all of the specifics and was very honest in her assessment of what to expect, which was little. That did not stop her and her assistant from chipping away day after day, week after week. They would get in touch with me whenever they needed more information or my signatures for the release of documents, but otherwise handled everything. Very professional, caring and competent. After a number of months (this amount of time was due to my sometimes unresponsive nature) she had established a line of communication and a compelling argument for collection from the uninsured motorist clause of my mother's automotive insurance. At this point, the gentleman representing the insurance company wanted to conduct a phone interview with Miriam and myself. She walked me through this process, with pre-interview counseling and conducted the entire interview on speaker phone, stepping in when she felt it was in my best interest. A few days later she got an offer for a substantial portion of the injury limit. She gave me the pros and cons of accepting the offer and her professional judgement as to whether accepting this offer would leave money on the table. I asked her to counter offer, which she did with apparent skill and we settled for 96% of limit of the insurance. If you find yourself injured, you'd be doing yourself a serious disservice not to use Miriam. She won't leave a stone unturned in making sure you get reimbursement for your damages.

Miriam Barish represented my Mother in a case where her foot got stuck in a defective pavement, causing her to fall. She broke her femur, and also had major bruising on her face. We felt that Miriam was very compasionate, and did a great job handling her case. She always returned calls and e-mails, and kept us both informed as the case progressed. My Mother was happy with her settlement that Miriam was able to get her. She also did a great job dealing with the insurance company. David Colleran represent us in a medical malpractice case. He did an excellent job. He was extremely thorough and professional in all of our dealings with him. I know to most that hiring an Attorney is a crap shoot , with loads of legal uncertainty concerns & questions, I was one of those people until I was introduced to Mr. Weiss and his professional concerned staff. During my Legal relationship with the firm I had numerous calls to them about my case which were returned within or less than 24hrs. My wife and I were always kept up to date with our case through e-mails,USPS and phone calls.
When I first met the soft spoken knowledgeable Mr. Weiss I felt he was sort of an easy going guy during our meetings in his office, but when it was time to face the defendent he was extraordinary,fully prepared and took no prisoners. Working with his legal team in court was also very impressive with there timely exchanges of documents and materials. One thing that was very important to me was the well being of my wife in court in front of a jury on the stand, Mr. Weiss and his team prepared my timid wife fully were she was confident, comfortable and relaxed at all times when asked to take the stand.
To conclude my review of Michael Weiss and his firm I would like to say I felt we had a friendship during our case and my wife and I just didn't fell at anytime that we were just another client. My wife and I also received 5 times more than we expected in our settlement.

I had one of the worst misdiagnosis which left me physically impaired for the rest of my life. I knew that I was done wrong by the Emergency Room I visited after they released me and I woke up the next day paralized. I had contacted Michael Weiss, who I had never spoken to before. I had left a message of what basically happened and to my surprise, he had personally called my back that same day while he was on vacation. I had liked his professionalism on the telephone way better than the other attorneys I had also spoken to. All I can say is that it was one of the BEST decisions I had ever made. I met Wayne under horrible conditions. A trip to Puerto Rico ended in an automobile accident. Once I returned to the states, I was referred to Wayne for my case. He makes a very scary and trying time manageable. He explains his process and his plans, and walks you through step by step. The support staff is great as well.
