First and foremost, my wife and I are extremely appreciative of the Roy Law Group. They are now family to us and we could not have dealt with the insurance company alone. The people that work for Roy Law Group took us on and walked us through every step of the long process. I wish we could recommend them higher than this review. Our story of "why" we recommend Roy Law Group. My wife suffers from Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) as a result of a horrific automobile accident and epilepsy. At first, her short term employment disability kicked in without any issues. We noticed a change in the disability insurance as my wife's treatments continued past the six month mark. We were told by the insurance company she was not going to receive long-term disability. The insurance company lied stating long-term disability was not selected for her at time of employment. Being she has TBI it was very difficult for her to understand what was happening. I had to do the work to find her original employment signing paperwork showing she had signed up, checked the box, and paid for this service. This was the first time we realized the insurance company was not here to "help" my wife. During this stage we received many complicated paperwork assignments from the insurance company and threats she was going to be dropped from coverage. You could feel the insurance company just wanted us to give up so they could save money. They do not care about your actual wellbeing. We did not give up like they wanted us to do. Months prior to the one year mark the threats became real as the insurance company randomly sent my wife a denial of coverage letter. They gave a ridiculous reason stating they felt she was fine now and was dropping her from long-term coverage again. Mind you, she had only been on long-term disability for a few months. Even though she was still receiving medical services and had multiple doctors stating the opposite. We did not accept the insurance games anymore and looked for help. Thankfully we talked with the Row Law Group. They are amazing people from the start and tell you up front what they will do. No false promises, as they walk you through realistically if they were able or not able to help and why. Luckily for us they saw what the insurance company was doing and had dealt with this same company many times. I love the fact they listen to your situation and you know they are in the fight with you. I have never seen complete strangers be an advocate for the truth and justice like the Row Law Group is. Over the process I could not imagine anyone else doing such an amazing tailored job to our situation as them. We have now had my wife's long term disabilities reinstated and now moving forward the insurance company has to still deal with our protectors the Row Law Group. If you are going through the ringer and fighting with an insurance company over short/long-term disability just stop the stress and fight alone. Don't delay like we did just CALL Row Law Group now. I wish we had called them earlier and my wife would not have had to cry or worry as much during the earliest stages of the fight. Our family is so grateful to the Row Law Group.

From the moment Attorney Menzer took my case — auto accident, medical and other costs pursued by the other driver — I felt that I was in good hands. He was professional and pleasant, knowledgeable so that I knew from the start what the likely outcome would be as well as the appropriate paths that would be taken to reach that outcome. He did not need to spend a lot of time on my case because he knew what he was doing and was, therefore, extremely effective (successfully encouraging my insurance company to agree to settle for my maximum insured amount — the company was threatening to push for much less, possibly landing the case in court). We had a complicated case concerning a nursing home, so we went to several lawyers concerning this case. We were not impressed by any of them. Not until we met Matt Menzer that we knew instantly that he was the cream of the crop. He was by far the best!! Matt was extraordinarily intelligent, extremely knowledgeable, and also very likable. He was a good listener, communicator, and he explained things in a way that we could grasp and understand. He and his team always treated us with the utmost respect when we asked our many questions and talked with them on the phone.

This is our first personal injury protection case so I was a little unsure, but we are so glad we got Sonny and his team. We were hit by another car and the at fault party's insurance low balled me. We needed several months of medical care. Sonny's team, Malissa, Vy and everyone helped us feel assured we would be taken care of and they did just that. They nearly doubled the amount of settlement offered by the other agency. We got all the care we needed, recouped the losses from time off work and assured our confidence in the legal process. We come from immigrant/refugee background so we are sometimes untrusting of these things, based on our general life expereinces, but wow, we are so happy and thankful for Sonny, his expertise, wisdom and knowledge. I was recently involved in a very challenging legal matter that I was told was essentially unwinnable by several trusted confidants. I turned to the Osborn Machler firm based on their reputation with difficult and complex cases, and Austin Neff was assigned as the lead attorney in my case.
From the beginning, Mr. Neff and his colleagues concurred that my case was indeed an uphill battle. But Austin immediately began to outline a legal strategy he calculated would maximize our chances of success. What stood out initially to me was his ability to explain complex legal terms and processes in a way that I could easily understand, which helped alleviate much of my anxiety—which, I admit, was through the roof.
As someone with very little exposure to the legal system, much of the strategy Austin constructed seemed almost counterintuitive to me at first. But he was very patient in explaining the reasoning for his approach at every step of the way, as I peppered him with endless layman’s questions about the law. By the time we were ready for the hearing, I almost felt like I had a couple semesters of law school under my belt.
I realize that all attorneys have multiple cases they are working on at any given moment. And I realize that they simply cannot be as emotionally involved in each of their cases as their clients are, of course. But I’ll have to admit that my level of optimism went up a notch or two when Austin looked up from a response he was reading from opposing counsel and paused and stated, “I’m starting to take this personally.”
The hearing itself was the first time I had seen Austin Neff in action in the courtroom. For moral support, the founding partner of the firm, Sim Osborn, was also at the defense table—I felt like I had a whole team behind me. Austin’s presentation of our side of the case was impressive. His arguments were incredibly articulate, nuanced, well-crafted, incisive, and on point. It was a master class in legal exposition, and even to me as a layman it was clear that he had shifted the law and the facts to our side.
Thanks to Austin Neff's hard work and tenacity, we achieved a clear, convincing, and completely favorable outcome that day. I didn’t think it was possible--I remember thinking when the judge rendered her decision, “Wait, what? We won??” The result has had a profound impact on my life, and I cannot thank Austin and the Osborn Machler firm enough for their support and expertise.
I highly recommend Austin Neff to anyone in need of legal assistance. His knowledge, professionalism, personability, and cool under fire makes him an outstanding choice for anyone facing difficult legal challenges.

Liz was our constant support and advisor during our case against a hospital that did not provide standard of care for my husband resulting in a significantly shortened lifespan as well as a difficult one.
Liz was the one we first called or emailed with questions -- and we had lots! Never did she seem we were taking too much of her time, and she always provided her expert opinion and advice in an easy to understand, thoughtful and kind manner.
While our attorneys got to know a lot about our lives, they shared some about their own, so we enjoyed learning about Liz's children, one of whom she gave birth to during the process.
Through depositions and a mediation Liz informed us very well about the process so we weren't taken by surprise in any way. She and her colleagues (a senior attorney and paralegal) were excellent legal support. They guided us to a successful settlement while understanding that we'd trade the money for the injury to have never happened.
We struggled at first because we understood that accidents do happen, even in medicine. But Liz and her colleague made it clear that the number of errors that added up to our end result required both change and some recompense. Liz helped us share ways we believed could prevent such a future situation in a way that the hospital could hear and even implement, and the settlement money will assist us to bear more easily the stark changes in our lives we will endure during the near future.

In 2009, I went through a terrible divorce and my counselor at that time mentioned “the children are young enough you can leave now and they won’t remember you.” Had I met Nelson nd had him as my attorney from day one I am confident I would’ve been the sole custodian of the children. The “hold harmless clause” was clearly violated. Nelson rectified this situation and had made sure that my ex could not get away with more financial damage. It is now 2019, my ex still thinks we are fighting a divorce, still refuses to properly cooperate with regards and respect to our now 11-year-old daughters. I trust Nelson, he’s easy to talk to and knows the letter of the law and most importantly he does not mince words. He will be my chosen attorney from here until he retires.

Mr. Berry is a complete professional, in every sense of the word. Compassionate, honest, prudent and versatile in matters of law. I am a single mom and very able, competent and successful. I am the founder of my own non-profit, although small in scale, that serve the needy with a determined and compassionate mission statement. The first round I was completely oblivious to what their demands and ridiculous requirements were doing to the fiber of my family. While driving southbound on I-5 in Tacoma an underinsured motorist sideswiped a dump-truck causing it to spin around and go north in the southbound lanes and hitting us head-on. We were crushed between the spinning dump truck, the car that caused the accident and the car that rear-ended us. We hired Schroeter Goldmark & Bender to represent us.
The insurance carrier for the underinsured motorist paid us the limits under their policy. Our own insurance company basically made an offer of zero to cover life-altering and permanent injuries.
Our team at SGB of Adam Berger, Sergio Garcidueñas-Sease, Lindsay Halm and Alder Burgess took over for us. One of the most important things they did was to shield us from the stone-walling, delaying tactics of our own insurance company to whom we had paid premiums for more than 30 years. From the beginning they handled the case as if it would end up in litigation. You need attorneys like SGB that have your back and are not afraid to go to court if that is what it takes.
They had the added challenge of doing this during Covid. Thank goodness for Zoom conferences. We ultimately got a court date. Two months prior to our court date, we went to mediation, via Zoom. We didn't hold out much hope for mediation, but we were willing to make an attempt. What a surprise when the insurance company came to mediation finally willing to negotiate. After a full day of the mediator going back and forth between Zoom rooms, we came to a fair monetary settlement. We are convinced that the insurance company, even then, was only willing to negotiate because, Adam and the rest of his team were well prepared bulldogs willing to go to court if mediation failed. As they like to say, "This was not their first rodeo".
A car accident is horrible. You need the best attorneys you can find to protect your interests. Besides being professional and knowing the case inside and out, Adam and the rest of his team are compassionate and truly care about their clients. We strongly recommend them to anyone who needs their service. Without Adam and SGB our insurance company would have paid us nothing.

Jonathan helped handle a case where the plaintiff was impacted in their car and sued myself and another car driver for damages. The results were the best that could be expected - very minimal damages on my part, and with only a couple appearances required of me.
