My eighteen year old daughter went from being a healthy college athlete to suffering a massive stroke, paralysis, brain damage and multiple heart surgeries as a result of malpractice. She was hospitalized for over two months and had an extremely lengthy rehabilitation and recovery period. We hired Charles Moore in 2013 on the recommendation of a relative who is an attorney. I wasn't even aware of the firm he worked for at the time. To be perfectly honest, I probably would not have contacted that firm because I was of the opinion that large firms provide less personal service and I needed to look the person who would represent us in the eye to get an idea of the type of person they were. My daughter had been through enough already and I needed to know that the attorney representing her would be someone she could relate to and someone who would be patient and understanding with her. Mr. Moore made himself available to us for all questions large and small at any given time. There was never a time I called him when he didn't answer personally. I wasn't sure what to expect because I had never been in this kind of situation before. He was very easy to communicate with and explained each step of the process clearly and thoroughly. While preparing her case for trial he was persistent and thorough. Her case was a complicated one and it required expert medical opinions and the review of volumes of records as well as depositions from numerous people. Throughout it all we were kept up to date and well informed.
Mr. Moore is friendly and personable but nothing to be trifled with when it comes time for mediation or trial. Fortunately we were able to reach a settlement without going to trial. The opposing counsel told me afterwards that if it weren't for him we would not have fared as well at mediation and I sincerely believe that. The fact that he was not afraid to go to trial if we had to made a big difference. Although I didn't want to put my daughter through a trial, she will have ongoing medical needs for the rest of her life and has lost things that she will never get back. It was important to me that she not have to worry about how to pay for her future medical care and that she be at least somewhat compensated for her loss.
I pray that I will never need a malpractice attorney again in my life but if I do, Chad Moore will be who I call. I cannot recommend him highly enough. He was truly a blessing to my family and we owe him so much. He is more than a competent attorney, he is a kind and genuine person who I am glad to have met.

Ms. Lanier represented our family in lengthy litigation when my Aunt's hairdresser became her emergency guardian. She worked tirelessly to reveal to the court how the frail and elderly can be easily taken advantage. Even though the opposing attorney delayed and delayed the court date, and the hairdresser put our Aunt into Hospice care, we were able to see the hairdresser scolded by the court for many things, including mismanagement of funds and paying a very questionable male friend to 'see about' our Aunt. Thankfully, our Aunt lived long enough to thwart the hairdresser. Ms. Lanier was professional and compassionate. She fought for our Aunt....tooth-and-nail. It is with heartfelt thanks that I write this on behalf of our family.

I hired John to assist me with an auto accident case. John was a pleasure to work with. When I first met John, he had a professional and calm demeanor, which immediately put me at ease. The auto accident left me in pain, anxious, and worried about paying my medical bills. John was very reassuring and encouraged me to continue the treatment that I needed so I could most importantly, start to feel better. I found John to be very knowledgeable of the legal process. He communicated well with me during the process and kept me up-to-date via phone calls and e-mails. He worked diligently on my case and I received full compensation for our injuries. I received a much larger settlement by using John than if I had settled with the insurance company without using an attorney. I had met with the insurance company prior to hiring John, and the amount they wanted to settle for would not have covered hardly any of the treatment that I needed. John went above and beyond to negotiate my major medical bills down to a small percentage of what I was initially required to pay. Wpuld not recommend. He dont fight for rights and facts. My employer worked me over a month, didnt pay me, then when i quit, harrassed me and this firm denied my claim so i guess they believe its right for people to get done any old way. Or wait...mabye not enough money for them. So again...dont recommend. So sad this firm dont fight for rights and now, here i am a single dad with nothing, Christmas ruined for my 7 year old and im a nobody still to this firm. They could care less.
