Laura and her entire team are absolute rock stars. Laura was the lead attorney on my EB1 case. If I could leave zero stars I would. My date of accident was 7/28/18, the offices of Belushin law firm reached out to me to handle my case, came to my chiropractors office and everything to meet me. After completing therapy, I reached out to them multiple times over the course just to get an update and was told that they were still in the negotiation process with the insurance company and that they will be reaching a settlement soon. Fast forward to September 22, 2020 over 2 years later of going back and fourth with them, I receive a letter saying they’re not going to pursue and that I should seek another lawyer. OVER TWO YEARS LATER ??? Like what is the point now, after I sustained injury and left my case i their hands, I am left with now trying to find another lawyer and as per Belushin it would be best that it’s within 3 years of my accident. They have now only left me with a couple of months until I reach the limits of my accident. DISGUSTING AND UNPROFESSIONAL!! I do not recommend AT ALL. I’m so disheartened by this.

I have nothing but good things to say about this lawyer and his office. Another lawyer rejected my case so my friend who had a case with Belushin office before gave me his info. The old layer said my injuries werent serious even though I was in pain all the time. Belushin send me to shoulder specialist who was REALLY GOOD. I think he worked with some football teams and stuff before. The Doctor told me I need surgery as soon as possible. After surgery Mr. Belushin found me a physical therapy office 3 blocks from my house. It was a nice office where the people were nice and the doctors knew their stuff. Last week I got my money which was wayyyyyyyyy more than I thought it could be especially since I almost gave up when the other lawyer told me I didnt have a case. GOOD JOB BELUSHIN OFFICE!!!!!!

Ms. Arabnia was able to dismiss two charges and reduced my speeding ticket. She spoke with witnesses on my behalf and made several visits to different locations in order to get affidavits signed by the witnesses; went to the county courthouse several times to speak with the DA; and was proactive in ensuring that my name was cleared to charges that did not match the police report. Her empathy and aggressiveness in protecting her clients is what makes her an amazing attorney and advocate for her clients.

Recently hired this lawyer Eugene Brayman in which he charged me upfront to fight a case in small claims court and he did not put out any effort to make sure I win the case. There was no interest there since he already got paid. Guys dont ever pay a lawyer all the money upfront before they try the case because they wont put out the effort to win.

Wow! Such a waste! I had an accident back in 2018, I didn't have anyone who was in the same situation before so I checked online and choose them. At the beginning everything was okay I guess but when I went to doctor office they have recommended I started feel something is weird happening. The doctor was 'suggesting' that I have pain in other parts of my body which I did not! After a few visits for treatment I started feel worse. I have contacted the lawyer and that was pretty much the last time I heard back from them. They said we will see what's wrong and give you another doctor. Long story short - I had to find a doctor myself and use my insurance for physical therapy (I did felt difference after first visit) and a couple days ago I recieved a letter from the lawyer's office that they close my case.... I will never ever hire a lawyer from former USSR countries - it's all a big scam.

I have had a bad experience dealing with this attorney as a client.
I would not recommend her to anyone.
Following are the few major points that made me a very unhappy client:
1. Constant lateness to the appointments and courts
2. She can never be reached in the office and rarely returns phone calls
3. Her attitude towards people is very poor. She is very rude and doesn't listen to her client requests. Basically does not consult with the client and says she knows better.
4. She does not have strong negotiation skills, or maybe just does not want to negotiate the settlement in order to prolong keeping her client in court.
I was very unhappy - she put me in the worst situation possible.

Zara is the absolute best. She is smart, hard working and always made sure I knew what was going on. If you want a lawyer who is real, honest, upfront and will tell you the truth then Zara is the lawyer for you. I was able to get sole custody of my child for much less than what other lawyers were offering and although she got my sole custody she told me all the ways it could go but that she would fight for what I wanted. Not only did she fight she fought and she won and I am so glad I hired her.

Michael & his team are curt, not interested when contacted. Maybe it’s me but with the injury I’m dealing with I have enough on my plate. After my injury that happened back in late 2019 I was searching for a lawyer that I can put confidence into knowing they will do their best to resolve my case and bring it to a closure.
After reading some reviews online I thought that I would have a good experience with David Zelman.
But after what happened in my time dealing with David Zelman I was completely mistaken.
He does whats only best for himself and not the client.
He will NOT go to court to fight for you, he admits he doesn’t physically look good and will hire another law firm if necessary to show up.
No paralegal is willing to work with him, they all leave him.
He is a one man show with NO help.
He’s unbelievably rude.
He will give you the legal runaround, which equals to not being honest.
I am spreading awareness to those who want an honest law firm to LOOK ELSEWHERE.
David Zelman will cost you your time and money and most importantly your health will get worse dealing with David Zelman.
David Zelman should be disbarred.

Title: Unprofessional and Disrespectful Experience with Law Office of David Zelman
I recently had the misfortune of contacting the Law Office of David Zelman to inquire about their services, specifically regarding suing the NYPD. Unfortunately, my experience was utterly disappointing and aligns with the numerous negative reviews I've seen online.
When I called, I was met with blatant disrespect and unprofessionalism. I simply asked who I was speaking to, and the person on the phone refused to identify themselves. To make matters worse, they hung up on me. I called back, hoping for a more civil conversation, but was met with the same evasive behavior. Only when I mentioned the negative reviews did the person pause and briefly listen.
This kind of attitude is unacceptable, especially from a law office. It's alarming to think that someone with such a demeanor would be negotiating on behalf of clients. The lack of transparency, accountability, and basic respect raises serious concerns about their ability to effectively represent clients and secure favorable settlements.
In my opinion, it's best to avoid the Law Office of David Zelman and explore alternative options. Their unprofessional behavior is a clear indication of how they conduct business, and it's not worth risking your case or well-being. Shame on them for prioritizing arrogance over client satisfaction and effective representation.

Attacked took place June 8 2015 in Centre Street court house and attacked August 2015 in Riker's Island by correction officers and he was hospitalized after the attack of August 2015. Leventhal was hired in September 2015 to file the claim for the severe attack on August 2015 which he did not file the claim for that attack either. He sent a letter on October of 2016 saying he could not represent. We was never notified of this shocking unprofessional decision. He took a year to tell us this in writing but we were communicating with him all the time. Never said a word. Even brought documents to his office.

I retained this attorney to take over an existing litigation case. From the beginning I was displeased with this attorney's behavior. He is extremely rude, thinks he knows everything and was constantly belittling me. The first time I asked to terminate services and receive my retainer back, he outright refused, insisting that I give him 2 more weeks so he can prove to me that he "is a good lawyer." For those 2 weeks he was avoiding my phone calls until one day I had enough and went to his office, requesting my retainer back in person. He was still giving me a hard time over returning the retainer and kept changing the amount withheld. His clerk first told me $750 would be held back, then the attorney raised it to $2700.00. I disputed this amount and sent him a formal letter of termination and told him that I would possibly seek litigation and other remedies to acquire my rightful refund. It was after receiving my letter that he sent me a letter offering only $6261.00. From $750 that his clerk told me to $3739.00 is a huge difference. To date I have yet to receive anything in regards to a refund and the matter has been handed over to the Brooklyn Bar Association and 2nd District Grievance Committee. I do not recommend this attorney to anyone.

Most of the reviews praising his etiquette aren't accurate at ALL! He's horrible and one should avoid him at all costs. He doesn't contact you with updates pertaining to your case and he's extremely repetitive (and seems to fail at getting things done). I ALMOST referred my girlfriend to him following her car accident, but then I realized...this guy still hasn't gotten a settlement for me so why on earth should I refer any more clients to him?! He's a disgrace and you literally have to constantly pester him with phone calls just to receive simple updates relating to the status of your case. AVOID HIM AT ALL COSTS! 2/10.
