I was hurt in a pedestrian accident. A car hit me while I was walking in a crosswalk. My injuries were severe . I suffered 7 surgeries, I was in a wheel chair for 6 months and I needed help so I turned to Abels & Annes, P.C., a Chicago law firm I found online. I made the biggest mistake of my life one night and was pretty sure that I had destroyed my career and my life. I called Rob on the recommendation of a friend and he immediately talked me off the ledge, showing care and compassion that an idiot like me did not deserve.. Once the proceedings started, Rob was as effective as could be imagined with regard to handling the case but more importantly he kept me fully informed about what was going on. He not only knows the law, he knows people and he knows how judges think. He framed my case to the court in such a way that I ended up getting supervision when I deserved much worse. Garrett has been nothing short of miraculous for me. My situation has proven to be less than optimal, as far as my case evolving into a garden variety law suit. I hired Mr. Brandwein to represent my son 34 yrs. old who was arrested for being the only male of color around when the police arrived in Lincoln Park in response to a 23 yr. old who was intoxicate acting up. Mr. Brandwein obtained the tapes from the pizza parlor and was able to bring the case to quick resolution.
It was evident when we arrived at the court hearing the interactions with other lawyers, judge, police and other personnel that he is extremely respected. I highly recommend him.

I would highly recommend Hall Adams. My supporting reasons are as follows:
- He is thorough, on the ball, hardworking, communicative (rare with many attorneys), means what he says and more importantly does what he says.
- He is experienced, personable and began work on my case right out of the gate. He had accomplished more in 4 weeks than several other firms who wasted my time by sitting on my case with almost losing my window of opportunity.
My conclusion of Hall Adams is simple, after going through several attorneys who, in my opinion, where not true to their word, Hall is a Go-to kind of Attorney; he accomplished what others could not, would not or did not want to becasue it may have taken some effort. He gets paid by a percentage of the recovery. So, he if he takes your case you can expect to win. In my case, the rotten insurance company initially rejected our claims but Mr. Adams was able to secure a huge settlement after litigating for 6 months.
On a friends claim he ended up having to go to trial and won a big verdict.

Joseph Dooley helped me research and develop a malpractice case to help with a simultaneous court case where the issue was caused by said medical malpractice. He is insightful, deep-thinking, caring and provided excellent legal counsel for me in a complex case. There were times when he advised me to proceed in a certain direction and times when he advised refraining from legal action to protect me financially, even when it would be less lucrative for him. First, let me say, I am not a person that gives my opinion of services I receive lightly. I thought long and hard about how I would characterize my review of Ms. Riccio. I found her through a friend and expected the regular lawyer client conversation and let's get this over with. Quite the contrary, Angela was very upfront about what was ahead of me, potential challenges and obstacles. She was very clear of what she would be able to do.
I feel she was a true professional throughout every proceeding, all the while keeping me informed, guiding me through the process, even when I knew she was busy, she was able to respond in a manner that made me feel like I mattered.
I won't go into specifics about my particular case, but I can say this, I don't how this would have gone with another attorney, but I am more than pleased with how it turned out. Greatly in part to Angela and her attention to detail, specifically addressing things as they pertained to my case and at all times making me feel like a person, not just a client.
Again, this is not just some random words, but my thoughts and giving back to someone that I feel like stood up for me. I would definitely recommend her to friends and family , and if needed would not hesitate to use personally again.

Albukerk more than anything listens! He is the only lawyer to win a case of Medicaid or Medicare fraud in the Chicago area and also to win the release of a man falsely accused as a sexually violent person who had been jailed for 30 years. He gets in there right away and preserves evidence of your innocence. If you are guilty he has the experience and knows the prosecutors and judges and how to get you the lowest possible sentence on a plea bargain. The only negative is that he tends to be blunt about worse case scenarios - but I believe that is only a matter of informing you honestly of the fact that the courts do not necessarily follow the law and juries and judges do not necessarily go by the evidence. There is far too much politics and prejudice in the courts and in juries. He is about as good as you will get and his prices are moderate. My family has used him for a collections case, for criminal defense, and I have watched him help friends with divorce cases and police excessive force cases.
