My husband and I were involved in a very serious accident when another motorist TBoned our car at high speed. We were both seriously injured and spent weeks in the hospital. We had never been through anything like that before and overwhelmed with our own recovery and the layers of insurance even though the accident was not our fault as ruled by the police. Marlon Rhine did a wonderful job representing us and helping us understand the process. He gave us excellent advice and ultimately helped us both feel more in control of a terrible situation and future considerations as we continue to recover. Alex Merritt has recent experience as an ADA in Dekalb County, so he knows how that system works and what point of view an ADA for Dekalb County will have. He is persistent and persuasive. He got all my charges dropped without a hearing within a month of hiring him, when my previous attorney did not get that done in the 3 months I had him. He also will not make promises he cannot keep, unlike many criminal defense attorneys.

I hired Mike to handle an administrative matter to terminate probation based on new legislation allowing such an action. I wasn't sure what the outcome would be so the matter was a little speculative, but turned out to be money very well spent. He was able to handle the prosecutor's concerns and obtained consent order to terminate my case. In addition he was able to secure the sealing of my record and order to seal in the same effort. The fixed price legal fee was very reasonable.

Marlon is the best! I was involved in a car accident in November of 2019 and had severe bruising afterwards. It wasn’t pretty, but I had no breaks or tears and didn’t think it would be a high-value case. Marlon disagreed. His extensive experience has shown him how that type of injury can have deeper effects that emerge over time, and boy was he right.
Over a few months I ended up with knee issues (still present) and nerve damage. He helped me find a wonderful PT and I underwent imaging and injections. The bills still weren’t high, and insurance wasn’t even offering to pay enough to cover them. Marlon kept me constantly informed about the conversations he was having with the insurance company, and knew that if I was ok to wait and be patient, they would come around.
I understand that not everyone can afford to wait, and I was very lucky to be able to. It took just over 2 years, but the insurance company agreed to pay limits, and then some. During that time I was able to seek care and do PT and know that Marlon would see to it that I got those costs back with the settlement.
Marlon’s transparency and encouragement made me feel like I was doing the right thing the whole time, and I trusted that everything he suggested was in my best interest. I can’t even tell you how many times he told me “The important thing is getting you better.”
He cares deeply about his clients, he knows everything there is to know about the processes and the insurance carriers, and I felt extremely comfortable with his expertise.
I went into our first meeting thinking my injuries weren’t a big deal, and I’m so glad that he encouraged me to take the time to make sure I was ok before accepting the first (super low) offers. Sure enough, I needed more care than I initially expected, and got the care I needed without fear that I would go into debt for it.
I can’t recommend him highly enough, he was such a great resource and friend during a nerve-wracking time (no pun intended). Should you be unlucky enough to need a great attorney, Marlon will absolutely make the whole process painless (no pun intended again haha) and do everything he can to make sure you’re taken care of.

I took out a TPO to protect myself per the polices request, and I felt I needed legal counsel. I had never been through any thing like this, and I was scared. I called Attorney Daniel's office, and she answered the phone personally. She was in court, and she asked if I would call her office and leave my name and phone number. She said I will call you as soon as I leave court. So, I called her office, and the person who answered the phone listened to me and said Attorney Daniels will take care of you. For some reason, I hung up the phone knowing I had made the right call. Attorney Daniels did call me as soon as she left court. I prayed to God that I would find the right attorney, and I did.
Attorney Daniels listened to me, my side of the story and went to work advocating on my behalf. She gave me her personal cell number and was always available to either talk or reply via texting, which is almost unheard of. Through this process, I learned how a attorney should treat a client, and that is with mutual respect and understanding. Not only did she advocate on my behalf, but she also gave me guidance through the entire process, which in turn gave me options in the outcome. She explained what to expect, what might happen and her intentions with representation.
With her honesty and my best interest from the start, I just knew in my heart I had chosen the right attorney. I understood that she believed in me and would do her best to advocate on my behalf as possible. There could have been several different outcomes in this situation, however, Attorney Daniels listened to my capabilities overall, and the end results were the best possible for me. I never felt alone during the entire process.

Mrs. Daniels has been a true blessing sent from above for my husband and I. Last year we were both falsely accused of felony crimes that we did not commit. Imagine being 4 months pregnant and being arrested and taken to jail with no priors, it was a nightmare experience and I feared for the health of my unborn child.
From the first time I spoke with Attorney Daniels she gave me the peace and confidence I needed to know she was going to handle this case for us and help us get our lives back. Not only was she very instrumental and successful in getting all the erroneous charges dropped against us she is also helping us in seeking justice for the crimes that were ironically committed against us.

I became an actual client of Stephen Appolinsky by means of another attorney who sought out someone with expertise in wrongful death cases. I am so grateful to my first great attorney for referring me to another great attorney at the most difficult time of my life. My 19 year old vivacious firstborn daughter took her own life just hours after being released from the hospital. She had been taken to the hospital by ambulance after the police were called on her for attempting to harm herself. After being evaluated, the hospital released my daughter after several hours.
My lawyer, Steve, agreed that there was a measure of negligence and diligently addressed all of my concerns. He personally flew out to Michigan and met with me and many of my family and friends to collect interviews to help strengthen my case. Personal touches such as these coupled with his kind but professional demeanor made me feel as though being his client was a huge blessing.

Joseph Weeks and his firm have shown a high level of professionalism in dealing with my case. When I call his firm I talk directly with a live person, and not an automated attendant asking me to press numbers to speak to someone. I have on several occasions stopped by his office just to drop off requested documents and he has taken time to talk to me and let me know what the latest is with my case. Everyone at his office that I have worked with or spoken to has always been friendly and willing to answer any questions I may have.
From the onset of my case, Joseph has been upfront about what to expect and what actions the other party can take. He has guided me through the litigation process and kept me informed of what is going on. Joseph is confident and knowledgeable in preparing documents and dealing with the other party. Myrlin was invaluable in helping me through a difficult time. After my cycling accident, caused by an uncovered man-made hole on a city road, I suffered a serious shoulder injury. Because of the accident, I needed shoulder surgery. To my amazement, the city did not take responsibility for the uncovered man-made hole in the road. In fact, they just ignored my situation and that’s when Mrylin helped in a big way. Mrylin walked me through the process and made it easy. On the rare occasion when I needed to speak with him after hours, he never made me feel that I was imposing on his personal time. He answered my questions, no matter how trivial and took the time to continually update me on where we stood with the city. Myrlin insight on how the process worked was invaluable. He kept my patience in check and in the end, we won our case.

After some searching, I found Foss Hodges and set up a time and an interview. Foss wanted to meet the entire family and the friends anyone who could show up, Foss began to introduce himself and more importantly wanted to know about me and my family. Foss cared it was the first time I had spoken to someone who wanted to actually hear from my family and was willing to speak with them about the case to help ease any confusion we may have. Also, a huge plus was he wanted to work with experts, and he had some of his own including wanting to give the one I had in mind a call and to at least learn with them. Foss gave us a checklist to do with everything he needed and as well as anything we thought would help him in any way. Then we went to work, we were a team working towards one goal and that was to prove my innocence and to put my family back together. Foss Hodges first act of business is very unique, it's to stop and indictment if it hasn’t been indicted already. He states very clearly, I can't promise you anything but the fact I will give you the best effort and I am going to put in the work. Any lawyer that tells you they can promise you a dropped case or an innocent verdict is something to pay attention to because that is not a thing. Foss then asks me to take a polygraph and then came to my house personally to do a walk through and see my house and exactly how the incident transpired. Foss took the extra steps to fully understand what happened and educated himself about the step by step instead of just taking my statement and that’s it. Foss wants to be there and see it with his own eyes, then after that he wants to try to meet the District Attorney to stop the Indictment if possible. We waited a year and a half it felt like before the DA responded to him then she would talk about meeting and then leave the office and someone else would get the case, or it would be “lost” for a few months then a new DA would take it and not respond to him all over again. Foss was persistent and never stopped with the correspondence to try to get a meeting to show the binder he built with all of his hard work and the expert testimonies with the polygraph test and all the Character reference letters with photos of the family and all. Foss kept my family updated and was very frequent with phone calls and if you had a rough time, you could just call him to talk, he was there for me and my wife in a time where we didn’t know what to do. Foss fought for my life for 3 years he won a bond modification to get me home to my family then 8 months later he went on to meet with the DA over my case and she dropped all charges over a six-minute phone call with my wife. Foss Hodges gave me my life back I have never seen anyone care or work so hard for anyone in my life, he was exceeding and doing things every lawyer I worked with before was just not there. I would trust Foss hodges with my life again and I am telling you if you are uncertain about the situation you are in and if you are reading this, I know your scared like I was. Please just give him a call and at the very least listen to what he has to say let him hear your story and then let him work for you like he did for me. He can't promise you the same outcome as me but that’s what he told me too and here I am writing this review after being free from the nightmare with a healthy family working on my master's because of this man. I owe him my life.

I don't know where to start nor can I find the words to thank Mr. Hodges and his colleagues and Firm for their swift and rapid response to false accusations brought against me in conjunction with a divorce. From the moment I contacted Mr. Hodges' firm, a call was returned same day after business hours to take information to understand the situation and discuss my case. This was followed by a succession of calls and emails and meetings followed by execution of the recommended plan moving forward until the case was resolved in my favor. His office was quick to return calls and emails no matter if they were during or after business hours. He and his team each gave me their cell phone numbers and encouraged to reach out if I had any questions or needed to discuss anything. Mr. Hodges and his team were very organized and knew exactly what needed to be done and thought outside of the box and were relentless in proving my innocence and resolving my case. Mr. Hodges was a God send in one of the most difficult times in my life. When I first spoke to him I was completely devastated. The unique circumstances of my case were very difficult to discuss but Foss truly went the full distance to assure me, my family and friends that I would have the support I needed and put me at ease. Foss made me feel like I had someone who truly believed in me, especially when I didn't. In spite of the unique circumstances of my case Foss had all the incite, the confidence and strength I lacked when I needed it. Now, I consider him a friend. He is one of the best Men I have ever known. I truly don't know how he does this job, I certainly know I couldn't but I am very, very glad to have found him.
He was extremely sensitive to my specific situation and was my navigator through a very dark time. I truly don't know how I would have gotten through this time without his council and his patience.
