Currently in a lawsuit with this company representing the other party, not sure if they read the accident report but I'm sure this firm encouraged their client to lie based on claims they made that aren’t matching up to the accident report. When I spoke to Mrs.Rameriez to see why after being paid out by my insurance they’re trying to claim more I was met with hostility. Already spoke to my insurance who verified all payouts have been paid & documents have been signed. Very interesting & will be counter suing her & her client for fraudulent claims. Sad to see people abusing the system and this law firm encouraging it.

I highly recommend Kevin Ginsberg. I spoke with him at length about a claim for an auto accident, and he took the time to help me understand in detail how these cases work, what we could (and could not) recover, and offered several avenues to proceed. I chose this firm after being involved in a car accident that was no fault of my own due to the fact the Mike had previous law enforcement experience. While everyone at the firm was always friendly and helpful, Naomi was the best of the bunch! She is truly thoughtful and caring. While my case might not have been the most elaborate or in depth, she always fought for and treated me as if I was the most important and only client she was representing. While we did win our case, even if we lost, I’d still be giving 5-stars. Mr. Williams helped my 80+ year old father and our family with a Civil Domestic Violence case in Durham County against his X-girlfriend. Mr. Williams set expectations from the beginning that we have a high probability to win our case, but it won’t be easy and there is no guarantee as the defense may provide strong evidence as well. Part of our success is ensuring Mr. Williams has all critical evidence like videos, police reports, emails, time-lines, viable witnesses…etc. Don’t assume your attorney is going to do all the work, you need to be an active participant in organizing the evidence for him. Our court case date was rescheduled about 4 times because the court was too busy to hear our case, but after 6 months of waiting, we finally got our day in court. Mr. Williams is professional, personable and most importantly knowledgeable at conveying interpretation of the law. During our trial he was tactical introducing evidence. He did a great job conducting cross with witnesses the defense had and he was able to extract information that was beneficial to our case. He hadn’t previously asked for the defense to pay legal fees in other DVPO cases, but we were successful in this request with the judge.
This is actually the second DVPO case we’ve brought to the court this year, but our first attorney just didn’t have the “fight” we were looking for. Mr. Williams embraced that “fight” we wanted. Someone that was passionate and didn’t throw his hands up when things got tough or complex. He thought critically and creatively in presenting and justifying our case. Preparing for a trial is one skill, but thinking on the fly during a trial and having the nimbleness to adapt is a crucial skill that Mr. Williams excelled at.
Lastly, the efficiency of his office was also great! His office staff is friendly and great at communicating with upcoming court dates or other information they may need. His office staff often met us at court for the first 15-30minutes while court was getting in session and Mr. Williams was in route. Great organization and support from his office.

I hired Howard to represent me in a traffic case in Durham County. The initial charge was G.S. 20-141(j1), and we were able to enter a plea of responsible to G.S. 20-123.2 (improper equipment) with no required conditions. This is the best possible outcome for a speeding ticket in NC, as it is a non-moving infraction that has no insurance impact, no points, and no per-policy limits or out-of-state issues like a PJC.
Howard was able to effectively present my case, clean driving record, and letter to the court to the DA's office to obtain this plea deal. It is essential to have a lawyer who knows the local DAs and is willing to put in the time to continue the case to a date with the most favorable DA/district judge. Howard was able to obtain an improper equipment in my case even though it was outside of the usual guidelines for this county, and without a requirement of traffic school. Despite staffing changes in the DA's office, Howard was able to adapt and get a strong deal even with a brand new DA.
Howard appeared around four times in court all for a flat fee that was about equal to the cost of the ticket. It took about five months in total to resolve the case, and I did not have to appear in court at all. Most speeding tickets are going to cost $250-350 in fines/costs. The question is what will happen to your driving record and insurance rates. That is where paying Howard a few hundred dollars is well worth it. Defense lawyers know the DAs and they have a professional rapport with them. I thought about going to court myself, but even though I had a good idea of the laws, I wouldn't have known the people and procedures to expect in this county. Howard knows exactly what to expect and how to best present the case to the DAs.
Howard never routes calls or texts to a secretary--some of the lawyers I contacted, and many that sent advertisements in the mail, did not even let you talk to a lawyer before hiring them. Howard gave a lengthy phone consultation at no charge and was in no hurry. Howard will ask to see your citation and driving record before giving a flat fee quote for the case. If available for your case, you'll also have to fill out a waiver of appearance form if you do not want to appear in court each time yourself.
I actually found Howard by chance by looking at the bar directory, and he was a bit surprised as he does not do any advertising. If you've come across this listing I would definitely recommend giving him a call. I think it's best to call a few different lawyers as I did, and choose who you feel most comfortable trusting your case with. Cross out anyone who doesn't give a real consultation or pushes you to decide right away. Whatever you decide to do, Howard will give you a consultation and put you at ease regarding your case. As a local college student, Howard provided a service that was affordable to me and well worth the money.

I reached out to Eboni for assistance with communicating with the courts about fines and fees I received over 10 years ago. I now live out of state, so it would cost a ton of money to fly back and forth from Ohio to NC to remedy my situation and it is affecting my privileges to drive, she got back to me promptly with detailed information on what I needed to do to handle the situation. I had multiple driving infractions in two different counties and she was able to get most of the charges against me dropped. Leaving St. Thomas More Church in Chapel Hill I was unaware of the posted speed. I received a citation, was to appear in court two months later. I was unable to attend, I live Cape Cod Massachusetts.
