They accepted my case, did absolutely nothing with it, and then Like 10 months later without warning or updates they emailed me and said they decided to drop my case and to figure something out quickly because time was running out for me to do anything about it. I wrote to Lorna at the end of my 2.5-year custody battle - "Words are inadequate to express my gratefulness", and it's true. Lorna has been on my side for that long, not only as my counsel, but to me, also a friend, and a mentor.
I remember talking to a dozen attorneys who all turned down my case because of its complexity - a divorce that invovled domestic violence, dependency, immigration, and relocation - yet Lorna was the only attorney that took genuine interest in my case, and she did not even charge me for our first 2-hour consultation. She actually read through over 3000 pages of my dependency case. She always responds promptly, sometimes even after office hours, she is thorough and detailed, insightful and empathic. She remained a delightful spirit despite my ex's constant threats, harassment, and accusation directed at her.
Even though I could not continue to afford her representation toward the end of my case, and chose to represent myself in a 3-day trial, she guided me through every step to make sure I was prepared and capable. And I won, even with some extra icing on the cake I did not expect. The judge said he has not seen anyone go pro-se without an attorney and could carry out the whole trial like I did in his 14 years of experience, but I credited Lorna for her guidance. I couldn't have done it without her. She encouraged me and believed in me even when I doubted myself - unlike those lawyers on Avvo who always tell you that you are screwed if you're going to trial alone. Walking into Rodi’s office for the first time, I was nervous. I was staring down what was certain to be a long, nasty, complex divorce and I needed to make sure I had the best representation possible. But, I also had to know I could trust and relate to whoever might provide that.
Rodi commanded the room with her presence, nevertheless, she immediately put me at ease. Within no time at all I could tell she understood where I was coming from, what my children and I were going through, and how my ex figured into these things. I contacted Jack to ask for help with my Support Modification. After talking through the details and asks of the petition, Jack laid out the process in front of me to make sure I was prepared for all outcomes. The entire team quickly jumped on some immediate needs and scheduling to make sure I had the right support to put my best case in front of the judge. We had several hurdles to deal with as well as an impending trial date, but I felt like the entire team rallied around me to get me prepared. Josh and I worked together over several sessions to create a fair strategy and proactively address the key issues. In what was supposed to be my trial date, Josh quickly jumped on an issue that perhaps the judge had not reviewed key submissions and requested a continuance to make sure everything was considered. That instinct proved to be correct as the judge had not reviewed everything and while that pushed a decision out, it was the right move. I would use Jack, Josh and the entire Berner team in the future.

My family came to Jack's Law office with quite a burden on our shoulders and a lot of confusion on how best to move forward. After a few consultations we decided to move forward with his services and I can tell anyone that it is 100% the best move we could have made. Last year, I was involved in a T-bone car accident. Initially, I turned to my regular lawyer for assistance, but due to their heavy caseload, they referred me to Russell & Hill, assuring me that I would be well taken care of—and they were absolutely right.
From the very beginning, the team at Russell & Hill demonstrated exceptional care and professionalism. I met with Jaclyn at their office, where I provided her with the necessary images and video footage of the accident. She clearly explained the entire process to me, ensuring I understood what to expect every step of the way.
What stood out to me most was how much they prioritized my well-being. The accident left me with severe body pain and a wrist injury, which made day-to-day tasks difficult. Laura Shaver is an excellent defense attorney. She defended our son on a DUI and a totally uncalled for DV charge. In both cases, Laura, worked out reasonable solutions and the charges were removed or downgraded. Laura was thorough and obviously has the respect of the prosecutors and judges in Snohomish County. After searching for my first Lawyer, and speaking with three different Lawyers, Mr. Pautler was firm, upfront, and did not beat around the bush. Out of all the Lawyers that I spoke with, Mr. Pautler told it like it was. I knew I wanted to hire this lawyer for my first lawyer. Once, hired, Mr. Pautler exceeded what I had first asked him for help with. He told me in order to fix my problem, certain steps had to be taken. With his help guiding me to follow required criteria, he not only help me fix my problem, but also helped me re-establish contact of lost loved ones. Mr. Pautler was very respectful, curtious, and told me "how the law" sees it. When my problem was solved, he told me so and ended our interaction in an appropiate manner to end the billing. I would recommend and encourage you to hire Mr. Pautler as your Lawyer. I see no need for me to seek out another Lawyer for myself, I will continue to seek counsel from him when ever I need a lawyer for myself. I heard of Sabrina through a divorced moms group on Facebook. I sent her an initial email to request a meeting, but had already met with and retained a lawyer before I heard back from Sabrina. I decided to meet with her since she had been recommended.
What I really liked about Sabrina (even though I had already signed on with my lawyer) was that she was so straightforward and she heard my whole story through. I like that she asked for a background from beginning to end and she actually listened and provided honest feedback throughout.
She has a wonderful and friendly personality. I really enjoyed talking to her, and didn't feel judged, mocked or looked down on.
Divorce is a difficult process and she explained everything. I left feeling that she really takes care of those she represents and has their back.
Before I left she printed out a form for me to sign for the response to the petition and urged me to file it ASAP so I didn't lose any of my rights.
I ended up going back to her for a final review of my final divorce papers after my lawyer made updates. I just wanted to make sure everything looked reasonable and nothing was missed since I have a daughter and didn't want to miss or make any mistakes.

Filing for Social Security Disability is a daunting and demoralizing task. The rules are complex and the process is complicated. Although we began the process without representation it soon became clear that we were in over our heads and lacked the information necessary to provide the proper documentation. And, of course, we were initially denied. I found the Law Offices of Russell & Hill online. Calling them and making an appointment was essentially a "leap of faith".
It was the best decision we ever made.
The best decision the law office made on our behalf was assigning our case to Jaclyn Gaddy. By the time we first met with Jaclyn (after she had received several years worth of medical records), she was not only familiar with the particulars of our medical records, she had a clear understanding of even the minutiae, those endless and seemingly small or insignificant incidents/issues that, taken together, meaningfully contribute to understanding the whole medical picture. I was rear ended by an uninsured drunk driver at 50mph. Injured and unsure of my options I found Andy Dimmock who repeatedly told me to focus on my recovery and treatment and he would take care of the rest beginning with ensuring my bills were paid via PIP and he would pursue my own insurer for uninsured motorist coverage. As expected I was still receiving treatment a little under a year later at which point Andy informed me my insurers had forwarded the full amount of my policy. I learned the game changer was managing to get my blood sucking chiropractor to provide a detailed assessment of my injuries before and after my accident for my insurers to settle the claim. Meanwhile my chiropractor was simply milking all the PIP and more by having me see him 5 times a week!

November 1998, Im five years old nearly killed in an auto accident. Lawyer #1 takes the case... Four years pass... little progress and some sort of conflict arises, and he withdraws from my case. Mid 2002 lawyer #2 takes over... Once again little progress... November 2002 lawyer #2s law practice is purchased by Andrew and his business partner. August 2003, Andrew has my train wreck of a case straightened out. Andrew did more for me in a week that lawyer #1 was able to do in four years! I came away with over $5,000 more than I would have had it not been for him! I was born with learning disabilities. We were able to use the settlement money to pay for a tutoring service. That tutoring service was a huge help with my education.
