I came to be represented by Josh Camp after firing my initial legal representative (an LLLT). To say I was jaded and burned by my first legal representative would be an understatement, but Josh rose to the occasion and exceeded all expectations.
From day one, my divorce was high conflict but Josh has handled every scenario with professional ease. He has been highly communicative every step of the way, even contacting me on an occasional weekend if the issue was urgent (fortunately, this didn't happen often). While he's been phenomenal during the entire process (a high compliment given how challenging things have been), it was how he represented me during mediation with my ex and his lawyer that truly impressed me. Our mediation took 10 hours, and by hour 8, it seemed that the mediation might not work out and we would head to possible trial. However, Josh knew the position was was standing firm in and helped me achieve a fair and equitable settlement. He has ensured complete thoroughness, including walking me through word-for-word the settlement document drafted during mediation.
I also want to note that while his job was to be my attorney during divorce, which he did so to the highest professional degree, Josh also showed his human side though care and compassion. He didn't shy away from constructive feedback, but did so with the best of intentions and I truly appreciate that.
The entire law firm is "on it", working as a cohesive unit even when several different paralegals also touched my case. No stone was left unturned, and at the end of an arduous journey, I am left thankful for how Berner Law Group and Josh Camp represented me. While nobody wants to find themselves in need of a divorce attorney, should you find yourself needing one, I unequivocally recommend Josh Camp!

This attorney is about money, first and foremost. He is greedy, lies, and is a hypocrite. He used my money for his own personal matters and led me to believe that I owed him money.
I did eventually get my 20 thousand dollars that he misappropriated, but only after I found out he had been doing thesame thing to other people as well.
Watch out!!! He is very charming, and will pretend to be your friend, whilst taking advantage of you behind your back.

Joel was a very communicative and up front kind of guy. If he diddnt know, he would tell you and get back to you with an answer. I feel that my matters were resolved in a reasonable time at a reasonable rate. If I have any issues in the future I would trust Joel to handle them.

Our family has spent the last year working with Mr. Nichols on a very difficult case involving domestic and child abuse. Russ, in short, is a wonderful man and lawyer. Not only did he take the time to get to understand me as a person, he did a great job with my legal needs. His approach worked well. The personal attention that Russ gave me was very much appreciated but not expected based on my past experience with other lawyers I have used. Russ helped get me through my divorce and taught me a lot along the way about being a better person. Russ is probably one of the most ethical men I know. I first start off by saying that Jack D. Clark is definitely the type of attorney one would hope to be referred to. I feel pretty lucky that I was referred to him myself. I sought Jack’s assistance in a tough custody case seeking a reversal of a parenting plan. My personal case couldn’t have gone better.
Jack represented me and my family very well. In preparing for hearings, trials, and mediations, he was well prepared, to the point, and down to earth. In court, Jack was very respectful, persuasive, thoughtful, and articulate. He had a great mannerism, kept me very well informed, and I found that, over the course of my case, it felt like he was not just simply my attorney, he was someone I felt that was really fighting on my side and was someone I could trust. I think that is saying something.
Jack also had a no-nonsense approach. He stuck to working on what mattered and was even able to find ways where I could get involved and help reduce my costs. I really believe that my kids and I received the best outcome that was possible. I also feel that I received a great value in his representation. Working with Jack D. Tracie Paul was very thorough, compassionate and effective in explaining all the options available. She helped us finalize health care powers of attorney, health care directive/living will reflecting our desires, and reworking our will. Lawyers Alexandra VanBelle and Patrick Songy of Deno Millikan took on our family law case after getting no call backs from several other firms. Brilliant strategists!! I had a very serious issue. I was charged with 3 counts of a serious crime which led to almost a 2 week trial. The events leading up to this trial happened 3 years ago, but they stuck with me the whole time. I am not sure how they are able to do it, but with Mr. Lawrence's help we pulled a win. I plead not guilty to all 3 charges and if I was convicted of even 1 of them I would have lost my career and my life as I know it. So I really commend what these gentlemen do and being able to their job when they have so many other cases to work. odd is not only a delightful human, but an incredibly effective lawyer. We used Mary as our attorney for our bankruptcy. She doesn't return calls or emails promptly. Often times we have to send several emails an wait weeks to get a response. I would NOT recommend using her. Very unprofessional.

Mary and her assistant Linda were incredibly personable, helpful, knowledgeable, thorough and instrumental in the process of my Chapter 7 experience. Declaring bankruptcy can be daunting, intimidating and stress-inducing. I felt cared for, supported and strongly represented throughout the entire process. Attorney was mediocre in performance, drug the case out so long she almost let statue of limitations expire. Then had to file a law suit to keep from losing all chance at recovery. Then her negotiation skills were subpar, and I ended up with a very poor settlement. In the end I settled so I could end the thing once and for all and be done with my own attorney and her incompetence. Then I had to argue with her to get my own money. She kept telling me she would mail the check on X date, then did not do it. Then would give me another date, oops not then either, then gave me a bad tracking number. Completely unsatisfactory all the way around.

I hired Karen for a personal injury case. At first she seemed caring and engaged. Once she had to start working my case that changed and I felt like I was a bother to her. Each interaction I felt like it was too much to ask for information on my case. She was short with me, would not provide information I asked for, or would just not answer questions I asked. Her only communication method is email. Calls are not answered.
She let my case go so long the statue of limitations almost expired and then a lawsuit had to be filed, when it could of and should have been settled before it came to that. In the end I accepted far less than I should have because I was done dealing with my own attorney. Then the surprise expenses popped up, and she never did provide copies of the bills to substantiate the expenses she claimed to have paid. I am sure the other side is the only one who was happy with her performance.
Overall it was a very disappointing experience and I felt she provided subpar representation. In the end, even getting her to hand over my small settlement was a battle, even though she had it in her possession, she kept giving me different dates she would mail the check to me, only to have it not show up, and then be given another excuse why it was not sent. Very unprofessional.
