I unfortunately hired this lawyer back in 2022 to assist me with my case. The communication from the start was great. It wasn’t until I paid the initial $2500 fee of the total $5000 that the communication started to become really poor. I would persistently reach out to him for info regarding my case and would hardly hear back from him. My biggest issue was that he advised me that I was being sued for $7000 when in actuality it was close to $14k! Talk about false information. But it doesn’t stop there! He OFFERED to assist me with getting my record expunged after my case closed and did absolutely nothing! I contacted his office and spoke with Jimmi, his assistant only to find out that after 2 months of receiving my application, it was not filed with the SA office. So I took matters into my own hands and did the entire process myself. My record was expunged 2 months after I filed it. Mr. Shwarz told me it would take 6 months! Ha! What a joke.

For years I was fighting the HOA in my condo rental unit that was uninhabitable due to water emanating from upstairs. I hired a forensic building inspector, Mr. Jeff Hooper who wrote a comprehensive report that indicated the building problems. Yes, it did take years to resolve because it is a process that the HOA and insurance companies delay intentionally while denying there was a problem.
When the defense attorneys inspected my condo unit Mr. Militzok was there to observe the process.
Mr. Militzok won a sizable settlement which shocked me. I provided detailed communication with everybody involved that included face-to-face meetings, emails, telephone calls and pictures over time. The plaintiff must do their part as He said/she said does not stand up in court. Supporting documentation wins the case along with a knowledgeable attorney like Mr. Matthew Militzok.
I provided the documentation and Mr. Militzok went to work. There was no need to constantly call Mr. Militzok and bug him as all comes together in due time. Most litigants call the attorney constantly wanting to know what's happening, this can be annoying for attorneys. This is the first time I sued an entity, but I knew annoying the attorney constantly is not the way to go.
When any attorney has information, the attorney will contact the client with an update. I feel we worked well together. Yes, it did take a couple of years, but Mr. Militzok got the job done, well done. Litigants must have patience. The few times I spoke with Mr. Militzok he was available and ready to listen.
I could not have asked for a better attorney! Thank you, Mr. Militzok and your associates/team.

Do not hire this lawyer, he is the worst I have ever seen. With all mold specialists reports that cost me thousands $ and doctors’reports of our illness, all required by Militzok, who started our case at requesting $300,000 in damages for us, ended up having our case dismissed after 7 years.
The other party said they had paid a lot of money already, we still wonder to whom??? We never received anything. He is just a super disappointment all together and he thinks people are stupid and don’t see what happened. We know very well what happened. He had the case dismissed on getting back rent money, which was not the main request, the main request was for health damages and renting an unhealthy house with a mold rotting floor and a septic tank leaking under the house. No wonder why we were sick. The house had full of coliforms and mold under the floor and Matthew had all the specialists and City reports in his hands. He couldn’t win our case??? No , He did us no good and he is no good.

I signed a contract in may with Matthew Militzok. Hos assistant Emily was in charge of my case. She rately answered my e-mails and the times she did it took her almost two weeks. Communication was extremely hard. I tried calling the office but my messages were never returned. The property manager came to my apartment to inspect a leak and told ne that he did not receive any information from my lawyer. I had sent many e mails to be forward to the association and it was never sent. Recently, after five months, I was able to get a hold of Emily and stated my concern. The lawyer was scheduled to talk to me by Emily. Instead, just sent me a letter dropping my case. 5 months of my time completely wasted. I never dealt with a law firm so disorganized and unprofessional!!!

HIGHLY ADVISE YOU GO ELSEWHERE!!! They made me believe they were working on my case. Every time I called (they NEVER reached out to me or were proactive) it was the same thing. The run around. " Working on it." Over 2 YEARS of BS answers from them. Then, at the 1 and only face to face meeting that I INSISTED we have, I was told, "So sorry, your case is not worth enough for us to pursue it." What? Why waste 2 years of my time??? Never mind that it was an open and shut case (a stranger's dog came onto my property and bit me, I had photos, ER records, paramedic and police report, notes from Health Department, his name and car license tag number). Never mind that I was clearly wronged and they are supposed to deal with personal injuries. Not all of them, apparently, only the HIGH DOLLAR cases. They do not do what they advertise, in my experience. From their website--"you’ll benefit from personal, face-to-face consultations with an attorney to discuss all of the possible scenarios for your potential case." Nope, not at this law firm. They should be ashamed of themselves for how poorly they treat their clients.

Once they signed you up you want hear from these people at all, they definitely give you the run around, they even want you to do there jobs for them, they act as if you work for them and not the other way around, it’s unbelievable, they ignore your calls and e-mails for months. I made the mistake of hiring the services of attorney Jesús Ravelo, but it has been a burden for me and it continues to weigh me having hired him to represent me in a Workers Comp case. I hired this attorney several years ago upon the recommendation of some one who was his adversary in Court. He seemed knowledgeable but he wanted a large retainer up front. He billed for every once of interaction including an email where the response was "you're welcome "! He was not available by phone many times and he actually billed me for emails in which I asked when I could speak to him over the phone. He did not work well with the adversay'counsel and was unable and unwilling to resolve the simplest issues. I eventually fired him. He still has a huge amount of my money that he has refused to give back to o me from a challenge of his outrageous bills.

I called Morgan & Morgan, and they referred me to this Man. I spoke to him only on the intake call, the following 4 Months were like pulling teeth from his Staff for any information. The Police Report is incorrect, placing the cause of the accident as the 2nd car. I tried, to no avail or return calls from Staff or Office Mgmt. to relay this to them, they refused to do anything about it. I went faithfully for over 3 Months to the Dr. of his choice. Completed treatment. I then received a call from this Man telling me he was dropping the case because he gave an excuse to the cause of the accident to deny my Claim due to couldn't prove liability! If he listened to me from the beginning and had an addendum to the Police Report, he would have won the case. Instead, due to Fl Law, I had to open a PIP Claim on my Insurance, who paid the Dr. and this Man my Full $10,000 that they split, as he dropped my case for me. He was a Total waste of my time for a complete 4 Months to No avail!!! yet he had no problem taking my Money!!
