I would choose another firm if I had to handle my probate matter again. The firm’s accountant failed to send invoices for nearly three months worth of work, leading me to receive a surprise notice that I would need to re-up the full retainer within a week or have my case deprioritized. Receipt of invoices via the firm’s web portal was guaranteed in initial consultation to prevent against this very circumstance. The overall experience was highly unprofessional and adversarial — two things you never want in your advisor. I had a mind to file a formal grievance, but hopefully the firm takes this criticism constructively to improve the quality of its operations for other clients.

I hate to leave negative reviews but this was the worst experience I’ve ever had with an attorney or business in recent memory. Terrible service and no sense of care or urgency. No one responds to emails and there is no accountability. They act very professional to get your retainer and then you’re up a creek without a paddle. After finally cancelling services it took over 6 weeks of pestering them to get our remaining 1800 retainer back. Please look elsewhere for a good experience.

Julia Rios was brought back in to Morley and was AMAZING. Follow up and getting in touch with people was very difficult at the beginning. Once she was there, she completely on top of it. Mr. Plumbar and his staff are hands down the best law firm you could retain for your legal needs. I was in an auto accident in May 2018 Beaumont, Texas and was initially represented by another law firm in South Carolina. The South Carolina attorney that I had prior to Mr. Plumbar was not at all helpful, sat on my case almost a 1 year and did nothing while I was going thru medical treatments (Neurology appointments, physical Therapy etc.). With no hesitation I released that attorney once I was able to do for myself. After doing my research and reaching out to my colleagues that live in the Texas area Mr. Plumbar was highly recommended by one of them. I saw a comment from Greg Smith about Abraham Watkins taking 40% and fees. There was a reply stating they don't from the law firm but I can attest to them taking 40% as a client and I saw under 5k from my 10k settlement. The firm hasn't been hard to deal with and they are rather good lawyers aside from the excessive fees. My only issue is them lying in the responses because I definitely was charged 40% in fees and saw under 5k. I also had to beg them just to file my claim for EIF when other law firms had filed claims for veterans with much less proof. I do feel defeated when it comes to how they're handling us but it's nothing new.
