If you lack patience and understanding of one’s time, especially in pressing matters, you might find these acts upsetting or off putting. For the most part, all things considered, I did not. However, If you seek "yes men" energy, exaggerated conversations and hand holding, this lawyer is probably not for you. Mehdi is compassionate and patient, yet very direct and blunt about what he needs and expects from you. I must add that I came to understand and appreciate a lawyer of his stature, especially given the intensity of the matter.
Although the outcome was impacted by factors beyond Mehdi's control, his efforts and representation were nothing short of commendable. I highly recommend Mehdi Cherkaoui to anyone seeking a knowledgeable and diligent immigration lawyer who will go above and beyond to achieve the best possible results.

I would choose another firm if I had to handle my probate matter again. The firm’s accountant failed to send invoices for nearly three months worth of work, leading me to receive a surprise notice that I would need to re-up the full retainer within a week or have my case deprioritized. Receipt of invoices via the firm’s web portal was guaranteed in initial consultation to prevent against this very circumstance. The overall experience was highly unprofessional and adversarial — two things you never want in your advisor. I had a mind to file a formal grievance, but hopefully the firm takes this criticism constructively to improve the quality of its operations for other clients.

I hate to leave negative reviews but this was the worst experience I’ve ever had with an attorney or business in recent memory. Terrible service and no sense of care or urgency. No one responds to emails and there is no accountability. They act very professional to get your retainer and then you’re up a creek without a paddle. After finally cancelling services it took over 6 weeks of pestering them to get our remaining 1800 retainer back. Please look elsewhere for a good experience.
