She made my calls a priority. Her follow up was stellar. She sent follow up emails after talking to us after the court hearings to make sure we understood what exactly happened in court and what to expect next. Her fee structure was well explained and fair. She has a lot of experience and that was obvious with her knowledge of case law and just the law in general. Elaine was a referral from a friend. I'd never been in court before and, I was so upset and afraid when I received my summons in the mail. Elaine was prompt and reassuring. She worked meticulously to find out as much information as she could that pertained to my case. She consulted with my child's teacher, his therapist, and others to make sure that what was in the best interest of my child would be the outcome in this case. Myself and the other parent had a horrible relationship when this all started . We were required through the courts to complete a course and Elaine wanted feedback. She asked me questions, in hopes that I'd learned something that could be applied to my specific family situation. I won in court, myself and the other parent have a much better relationship now, and most importantly my child is happy. I had no hope in the beginning of this case and by the end of it all my family was free from all of the strife and disappointment from past years.

I was facing 7 criminal charges in Porter County Indiana. 2 of the 7 charges were Felonies. I pretty much thought my life was over. I hired Attorney Germann after being turned down by my previous criminal defense attorney and being recommended to him by a family friend. I was hoping to get a good plea agreement but Gary Germann pulled off a miracle and got all 7 charges dismissed! He literally saved my life! I hired Mr. Winkler to restrict access to a criminal case that kept hurting my chances of obtaining employment. One mistake made at the age of eighteen kept popping up on a criminal history search and preventing me from begin able to obtain employment and support my family, despite the fact that I had a college degree and had not committed an offense since that time (15 years). Called to get information and to set up a call with Attorney and never made it that far. The intake lady became extremely rude when I asked her questions regarding Subpoenas because I knew I would eventually have to send them to obtain documents if I decided to pursue my case. Luckily, a defense attorney is not someone I have much experience with. I am an Arizona resident who was on vacation in Indiana with my family and I got pulled over for a "ticky-tacky" traffic infraction by an overzealous Montgomery County sheriff's deputy (I think trying to make his 'quota'). I was not driving unsafely, and after having a clean driving record for many years, this infraction if I had been found responsible, could have been serious, expensive, and had a negative impact on my insurance rates. I did not feel I deserved the ticket and reached out to LegalShield for help. They hooked me up with Attorney Blake Dahl. Mr Dahl did his research on the infraction and correctly argued in court that per how this particular traffic law is written, I did not commit the infraction for which I was cited. The Montgomery County Superior Court judge agreed and dismissed the ticket. I didn't think I had much chance at success and was prepared to be disappointed by the outcome. However, Mr Dahl came through and made my day! THANK YOU BLAKE DAHL!!!

Blake was a presenter at a Criminal defense seminar I attended. He gave an incredible overview of the expungement process in Indiana, and went into great detail. I have handled expungements for 10 years....but it can still be confusing and it is very detail sensitive. Additionally, there are new opportunities developing every year. I was having issues verifying complete criminal histories of my clients and reached out to Blake for advice. He was very helpful. I reference the materials he provided as well.
In other words, Blake is an expert in teaching other lawyers how to handle these. I would highly recommend hiring the lawyer who teaches other lawyers!!!

I've hired Nelson for a criminial defenses in the past! He always a great representation! He's a great ethical lawyer... his plea deals were 25%- 50% better than the other local. representation... now that I have a bank stalking, intimidating banks 1100 employees, he's the first person I've searched for representation... weighing if his cost hoping no more than 2,000 for representation... for the 2 level 6 felonies? I could just turn myself in for the warrant? Or, be prepared before I turn myself in? I was charged and arrested and had two accounts going against me. I hired Timothy Ormes to help me.
