Ron clearly knew the ins and outs of estate work, for which we hired him. He made me and my family feel we were in very capable hands after a most trying event, the loss of a beloved family member. Ron returned e-mails and calls almost immediately, often within a few minutes. He was thorough and detailed in his responses and in our meetings as well. He is capable of very assertive conduct when need be but for us as clients he was polite, friendly, and attentive to our questions and needs while being professional. He made certain I understood what I needed to understand (details when necessary) and that I could clearly see the process of dealing with and then later closing an estate in Iowa. Great staff, too. Fast and prompt. I recommend Ron Anderson and his staff most highly.

After trying to deal with the work comp company on my own, I was referred to Jennifer and I am grateful that I called her. She took control of the situation and got things moving forward. She did an excellent job and even though the situation was tense at times, we were still able to have a good time working through all of the issues. After my wife passed suddenly earlier this year, I contacted 4 different local Law Firms about what I needed (one being the legal adoption of my disabled step daughter). Tim was the only one that didn’t give me the “run-a-round”. After discussing some of the legal things I needed to accomplish, Tim informed me of a couple of other things that also needed to be taken care of. He took the time to get to know my stepdaughter and I and insured that we were both well informed on all of the aspects of our situation. I found Tim to be quite knowledgeable, and his dedication and professionalism were, to say the least, outstanding. Everything that I needed was taken care of within 2 months. My wife was in a car accident in Council Bluffs. It was a serious car accident where a lives were lost. Thankfully she was in the backseat with her seat belt fastened so her injurious weren't as serious as the other passengers. The first law firm we contacted came to visit us in the hospital. This, we thought, was a kind gesture. Rather than comforting us however, the lawyer gave us a bleak outlook and pressured us to sign an agreement right then and there! We did not have health insurance at the time so the honesty was appropriate but the timing was horrific. Thankfully we decided to wait to sign the contract. A friend told me about Kris Madison at Stuart Tinley Law Firm LLP. When I called Kris a few days latter (didn't reach him) and he called me back, first thing he asked was how we were doing. Corny I know, but that meant a lot at the time. He also asked when we would like to talk and even made a trip to our home to make things easier for my wife. From the day we signed that contract, not only was he diligent but also made it a point to keep us informed every step of the way. He also, went out of his way to explain the process rather then confusing us with terms meant to inspire confidence. At the end, not only were we given a good settlement but even if we did not get the settlement, we were really happy with the diligence and dignity in which our case was handled. Highly recommend!

Kris Madsen has represented me in two motor vehicle accidents. I live 100 miles away from his office and he and his office staff were very accommodating in sending documentation back and forth through email. I unfortunately was arrested on I80 for an OWI second offense and a .324 BAC. I gave Sydney a call the following morning and had a short meeting. She was very communicative and responsive to every question I had.
She walked me through the entire process start to finish and outlined every possible scenario. Sydney made sure to exhaust every option we had to get the best result for me. We ended up getting a plea deal with the prosecutor for a simple reckless driving. I would recommend Sydney to anyone who finds themself in the unfortunate position of an OWI charge. I’m keeping her number on file with the hope that I never have to call her again!

Chris assisted me with an accident in which I was struck by a car on a bicycle and settled with multiple insurance companies. He was referred to my family while I was still unconscious at the University Of Iowa hospitals, and had a specific plan of action in place by the time I finally met him 5 weeks later. Chris was patient and answered any question presented. Chris made a meticulous effort to keep me updated on the progress of the settlements and mailed me pertinent paperwork on a timely basis. At times, his office would be working with my insurance company and the responsible party's insurance company, multiple medical agencies with regards to billing, law enforcement, and my employer all at the same time. I contacted Mr. Cox due to an estate I was an heir to had turned one sided.
Mr. Cox did an excellent job guiding me in situations and being the “go between” person between the Estate lawyer, the Executor and me as they both told me not to contact them.
Mr. Cox and his assistant (Sherri) are very understanding, did not rush me and would get back to me the same day with answers to my questions.
The entire office made me feel comfortable.
The estate has taken awhile to close but without Mr. Cox assistance, it most definitely would still be open.

In the all the years our company has existed, we have been sued for negligence twice. Both times, our insurance company chose John McHale to represent us, and both times we were found not guilty of any wrongdoing by two different juries in two different counties.
I give John McHale EXCELLENT ratings on his research, his detail, his knowledge, his courtroom presentation, his strategy, and his preparation, as well as his professional treatment of us, the judges, juries, witnesses and yes even the plaintiffs side. Additionally his communications to us before, during and after both trials was superb.
Being rather new at this "being sued" thing, I was reassured when about half way through the first trial, the Clerk of Court, during a recess, said to me "I've been doing this for a lot of years and you never know how these trials will turn out, but I can tell you that your lawyer is good.......really good. I wish he lived here."
Beyond a doubt, If ever we find ourselves in a similar situation, I want John to represent us!

By staying on the insurance companies he was able to get our case escalated to their legal department and resolved within a matter of weeks. But that's not where he stopped. Our insurance company wasn't paying our claim. This resulted in the hospital sending us to collections. Blake then spent over a month working to get the hospital, collection agency and our insurance company to work together to reinstate the claim and pay it in full. Not a dollar out of our pocket.
He didn't stop there. We were in the process of buying a home and Blake took the extra step to work with the collection agency and the the credit agency to get the collections removed from our record.
He was able to get an insurance company, a hospital, a collection agency AND the credit bureau to all change their stance and help us.
Whenever I have a medical situation, the first person I'm calling is going to be Blake. I wish we had reached out to him over a year ago.
