Review of Attorney Jeremy Evans:
I sought representation from Attorney Jeremy Evans to navigate a highly complex CPS case involving the termination of my parental rights (TPR). Unfortunately, my experience with Mr. Evans did not meet my expectations, and I feel it’s important to share this feedback for anyone considering his services.
Lack of Attention to Constitutional Violations:
One of my primary concerns was that crucial constitutional issues were not presented in my case, which ultimately impacted the outcome. I repeatedly requested that Mr. Evans raise these violations, which included concerns about due process and fair representation. However, despite my insistence and evidence in the form of email exchanges, he assured me it was unnecessary. This omission was critical, as the Iowa Supreme Court later declined to review my case, in part due to the absence of these constitutional arguments.
Lack of Communication and Transparency:
Throughout the case, I felt that communication was insufficient. Important updates were often delayed, and I was not fully informed about strategic decisions or options available to us, especially in moments that could have impacted my case’s direction. Clear and transparent communication is essential in such sensitive matters, and I believe this is an area where improvement is needed.
Limited Advocacy for My Parental Rights:
In a CPS case as delicate as this, I expected my attorney to be proactive and fully committed to advocating for my parental rights. While every case has complexities, I felt that my perspective and wishes for my children’s well-being and placement were not adequately represented or fought for in court.
Overall Experience:
Given the outcome of my case, I cannot, in good faith, recommend Attorney Jeremy Evans for cases involving parental rights and CPS. Legal representation should involve not only skill and knowledge but also dedication to the client’s rights and a commitment to raising essential issues when they arise.

Richard Moeller and his team at Vaccine Injury Pros are the A-Team of Vaccine Injury Attorneys. I went in to get my seasonal flu shot and immediately upon insertion of the needle I literally screamed out in pain. Probably like yourself, I have had many injections, usually accompanied by mild pain or discomfort but this one was different, something was really wrong. My arm and my shoulder hurt like hell and kept hurting for several days, then months. Upon researching this continuing pain, I realized that this injury was likely SIRVA or a Shoulder Injury Related to Vaccine Administration.Being a lawyer, I conducted some additional research and then contacted Mr. Moeller and his team at Vaccine Injury Pros. They got all my background information and then obtained my medical records from multiple health care providers. My case was not an easy case because some information in the the medical records was not supportive of my claim. Nonetheless, Mr. Moeller and his team zealously represented my interests, consulted outside experts and obtained a very satisfactory settlement despite some difficult facts. Vaccine Injury Pros did not drop my case when confronted with difficult facts, they fought and won for me. I truly appreciate everything that they did for me. I highly recommend their team.

There’s so many positive words to say about Richard Moeller, and his team that consist of Coyreen Weidner, and the legal secretary, Melissa Jones.
My initial call was to ask about a flu vaccination that went terribly wrong. Richard was so patient in explaining the legal system to me. He answered my questions and was very understanding of what happened to me.
He was very professional and efficient. When he described a timeline of how claims are processed, he was spot on with the timeframe. I never had to call to ask about the status as Richard would call me to update the progress of the claim. This communication was very important to me.
It was such a pleasure to work with Melissa Jones, his legal secretary. She was always friendly and courteous.
I would highly recommend Richard and his team. The outcome far exceeded my expectations.

I was referred by Nick to learned law and Chad referred us to Heartland Credit restoration and told us to reach out when our credit score was better. Finally after getting everything resolved. I called and I left a message with their receptionist if Chad would be able to call us back to see if he has an appointment available to come in and speak to him about what all he needs from us to get a home loan. Never heard back. The receptionist was very rude when i was speaking with her. When i have not heard back from Chad for a week i went ahead and emailed him. Its been over a month and half since i have not heard back. At least a phone call or a response to my email would have been appreciated.
Definitely was disappointed because Chad was very helpful in the beginning with all of the information.

If you want misinformation and have the cops come and arrest you at your home at 7pm hire Steve Ort. Pay $2500 to get arrested after being told no need to appear because he had everything taken care of. Drug the case on for almost a year to get sentenced the same as if I had a public defender. I wouldn't recommend him to ANYONE. All he was out for was as much money as he could get to get me a pathetic agreement that a public defender would have gotten me. Run from this guy he's lazy and money hungry

She called me and I respectfully answered all of her questions, then asked to subpoena me. I told her I'd be out of state during the trial and couldn't attend. Her response was to subpoena me anyways and threat to charge me with content of court if I didn't comply. I will not be forgetting this anytime soon.

Unfortunately, my experience has been profoundly negative, and I feel compelled to communicate the issues I encountered during his representation.
Initially, I sought Mr. JM's expertise with the expectation of professional and competent legal assistance. However, it became apparent that Mr. JM's handling of my case fell short of the professional standards one would expect. Notably, there was a significant lack of communication; my calls and emails went unanswered, leaving me without the necessary guidance and support. This lack of responsiveness was not only frustrating but also detrimental to the progress of my case.
Moreover, Mr. JM made unilateral decisions without my consent, including the submission of court documents. This action was taken without prior discussion or approval from me, which is unacceptable and violates the client-attorney trust. Additionally, his actions during my temporary hearing were mishandled, resulting in an outcome that was far from satisfactory and contrary to my interests.
The culmination of these issues led me to seek alternative legal representation, and I had no choice but to remove Mr. JM from my case. The experience was not only unprofessional but also a waste of time and resources, leaving me with regret for choosing his services.

So I have been dealing with this law office for 5 months I was buying a house here in Marshalltown started back in 2020 of December turns out I lost close to 20 grand and now that I have sold the house stuck waiting on a deed for the house I closed yesterday and there is a check for over 14 grand and Barry hasn't gotten back to me as of yet. I would give zero stars is Google allowed for it.

We lost everything in a fire and had been searching for an attorney to litigate when we found Steven who said he would help us but never communicated afterward we never once even heard from him even after he said he would take our case. 3 months later we still have not heard him even though he said he would litigate he has a legal and moral obligation once he says that he will represent someone especially someone like us that lost everything to a fire and whom he said we have a case which he would benefit from and not us he still has not responded.
