Before walking into the DiCello firm, I knew nothing about Mark DiCello and was still in shock from what I had been through! After a brief meeting with Mark, I knew this was where I needed to be. I had visited other attorneys before entering Mark's office and felt my life was over. Mark quickly changed how I was feeling with a positive, tough, take no prisoner approach! I needed to hear/know that the lawyer I was going to have represent me firmly believed in me. Mark really had a bulldog approach to my case and left no stone unturned. He felt for what I was going through and firmly believed that what I had went through was an injustice. His passion/compassion, determination and vast knowledge really had me as at ease as I could be at the time. Mark won my case, not once but twice. The other side was clearly outmatched and not playing at the same level as my lawyer. As Mark told me “my light will be on before theirs and long after their light has been turned off”! I have known Joseph "Randy" Klammer for some time. More than once, he has helped me out of a jam. His ability to navigate through the judicial system, especially in Lake County, is second to none. One incident was where I was accued of an OVI, and he was able to successfully work with the court to have the charge reduced. Another time I was falsely accused in a Domestic siuation, and Randy was able to show that it was just a spiteful act by an ex-girlfriend. I have also referred him to a handful of other people, and all of the feedback I have received is extremely positive.

Randy did an excellent job of preparing my clemency application. Without his help and team of investigators, I don't think I would have been successful. I am now able to apply for jobs and seek work that was not available to me before. I can now seek a degree that wasn't possible before. I had Russ Kubyn on a child custody case. It was his way or no way and he was kind of a condescending prick but as far as child custody lawyers go, he did his due diligence and didn't require a lot of money down and knows his shit. RIP Russ.

In my personal opinion: Dealing with Robert was a total nightmare. Robert showed a complete lack of ethics in making numerous false statements to opposing attorneys and to his client. In my experience there was an alarming lack of communication for long periods of time from Robert -including up to a month, or more, without any communication to his client. And, he additionally displayed extremely deceptive behavior by intentionally hiding adverse case developments and rulings by the court. In my personal experience it was very clear that the DiCello law firm only cared about making money and put on a completely phony display about having any real concern for their client of any kind. In my opinion, Robert severely mishandled the entire case, and when it became apparent to his firm that they needed to spend money to develop the case in order to get a proper settlement, they refused to do so, and showed no regard whatsoever for what was in the client's best interest.

Very dissatisfied. Retained attorney Selman 4 yrs ago to handle my bankruptcy after my divorce. I paid my $1300 and nothing has happened. My e-mails go unanswered and my phone calls do not get returned. I almost lost my house so I had to hire another attorney to do my bankruptcy. It was cheaper and was done in 1 month. I have contacted his office numerous times to request a partial refund and he will not return my phone calls. I understand why lawyers get a bad name, Stay as far away from John Selman as you can. Do not recommend, very disgusted with the whole situation. I will be contacting the Bar association.
