I hired Mr Rogers because his sister was recommended to me. She referred me to her brother and I hired him for a family case.
First, I only talked to Edward Rogers the first day when I paid him the retainer and the day at court. Every other phone call or text message was from his “paralegal” Ricky.
Richard “Ricky” calles or text me with very unrelated stuff. The times he called me about something close to relevant I felt he dragged on the conversation. Later when I asked for time sheet, it was apparent that I was billed for what I felt was very excessive times.
Moving forward to the court date. When sitting with the court representatives I was forced to defend my self. Both Edward and Richard were with me but neither had anything to say. In fact if I were to stay quiet and not defend my self I would be paying a lot more money on child support than I do now.
Finally, I feel that Edward is not equipped with the knowledge to handle such cases. Maybe he should just stay doing ticket cases and such. Beware with his colleague Ricky. He talks to you like a car salesman. An 80s car sales man. Almost even comical.
Save your money, you’ll be better off asking friends or even strangers for advice that have been in the same situation.

I've made a few mistakes while driving, Eddie has been indispensable helping clear my driver's license and minimizing costs, fees and points on my license each time. I've also been caught in toll violation hell, and he managed to wrangle all of it down to a single hearing, which got dismissed on the merits of my case. They are rude .Nicole the receptionist. I call to speak with my attorney ..they don't hear u out there very rude but this are the law firm I decide to have on my case they don't hear me out they over talk me in a very rude way. I'm homeless now with autism son I called to try to speak to my attorney and his assistant and the girl Nicole the reception is very rude every time I call and there are no better they talk nasty too

He called himself, the day before to confirm appointment; that was good. I waited in the office for a half an hour after completing my intake paperwork. Empty waiting room, no one checked in with me. No, "sorry we're running late", or the Lawyer will be with you shortly", nothing. So, I walked.He or his office hasn't followed up as of yet. Who knows, he could be a fine lawyer.

I have had 4 cases with this same attorney already, they explain everything to detail and answer all your questions. They all speak English & Spanish. We used Jim services and counsel, October 2019. We were in our rights but the other company would not hear anything.
Not only jim was easy to talked to, but he advised us very well and got us what was right.
He was caring, easy to reach out, he was on our case from A to Z. We were introduced to him by friends from Ohio.
We met with him, we saw he was reliable and not all about money, he was correct, efficient, came up with ideas, and did everything for our case to not escalate.

This Attorney has alot of Bark but no bite to see the case through to trial.
Took our case on a contingency than when it came time to get to trial, tried to convince me to take the first “lowball”offer the defendants offered, so he could make a quick buck without having to do any work. When I disagreed, decided he was going to unilaterally re-write the terms of his representation agreement, so that I would have to pay all fees going forward...totally disreputable! Stay away! This is not a firm that has the deep pockets to fight for you and get your case to trial!

James Gitkin is an awesome personal injury attorney. He's got an awesome paralegal, by the name of Sarina, who is super great, friendly and will get things done for you! I call her my 'pitbull in a skirt' SOLEY for how she gets things done and is on top of her game. They are an awesome team! In an accident, don't call 411pain, I did, almost got messed up, but decided to search avvo and got this great attorney! 2 thumbs up! I was a client of attorney Bobby Nunez. During the first meetings with the attorney I asked some question that were not cleared answered and y were many more that he would not answered. Since it was my first accident, I was very confused about the procedures when to do what and who will do what. I signed contract with this firm sometime in the middle of February. At the end of month, our situation got worse not only economically since we lost all incomes but also the only vehicle in the household broke down. We have limited transportation and liquid assets to manage the regular bills (mortgages and utilities) then credit cards and loans, any other bills. Unfortunately, we couldn’t continue with the physical therapies and We participated our decision to the attorney. At the beginning of June, I contacted the attorneys office to obtain a case status. To our surprise the assistant asked if we stopped the treatments and we told her yes. We have communicated the information to the attorney back in February not because we were feeling better but other situations were pressing that required immediate attention. To our surprise she said that without treatment there was not case. That she would consult with the attorney but that was pretty final and she did not believe it would change. She was flabbergasted when I asked why did not the attorney let us know. He knew we were stopping the treatments and never indicated otherwise. She also said that she checked with the clients monthly, so why didn’t she check with us not even after a month or two months or not even after four months? Why? Immediately after a validation email came from the attorney confirming that without a treatment there was not case and he would not represent us anymore. I was disappointed because we were expecting to be informed about the process, the steps during the process and also informed that it was imperative to have therapist in order to have a legal representation. We thought we have stopped an important aspect of our case with justifications or not, but we also have talked about other factors that weight equally or more than the treatments for example: I bought my car and I have paid 14 k towards that property which I lost? Wages, emotional distress? All other problems that come after the accident that can not be resolved with physical therapy. i recalled the attorney said, don’t worry please write down all your lost I will present them to the insurance company. So what happened to all those lost besides the health issues? They are not valid? They don’t count ? They are not important? All those factors were important to us because we were affected by a guy that was negligent while driving i95 and hit our rear back while moving. He broke our balance and equity in our life’s, he made me particularly feel disoriented, lost, lost lost. -and we had an attorney but he did not support us as we thought and at the end he dismissed us totally.

I found Mr. Pozo to lack basic knowledge in the field of tort litigation which in which he holds himself out as having experience. He stated that he does not work on cases he openly tells people that he only does marketing. He holds himself out as a trial lawyer; however, I could find no evidence in any local court docket that he has ever tried a case to a verdict Asking him basic questions about trial law made it clear in my opinion that he had no such experience.

I reached out to Chalik & Chalik to retain the law firm for a personal injury case I’m dealing with at the moment.
It’s as if the initial process goes through a 3rd party company who misrepresent the contract of retainment. I didn’t understand the language in which the or most of the big words that was in the contract. They was literally telling me anything to get me to sign the the contract. The only thing they didn’t tell me was “your illiterate”. Which didn’t need to be said, the feeling was there already.
When I finally got in contact with CHARLES who told me he’s a lawyer at the firm, the situation went from bad to worst. He was nothing short of belligerent, rude, disrespectful, and narcissistic.
Ultimately, I decided not to hire CHALIK & CHALIK for this case and seek legal counsel elsewhere. I wouldn’t under any circumstance recommend anyone hire this firm for anything .

Jason Chalik handled my auto accident case in early 2011. The entire process was incredibly simple. From the first time I called into their office, I felt comfortable with the process and the staff handling my case. They clearly explained the process and kept in constant communication during the case. I never felt like I was in the dark. Jason's office was able to refer me to an excellent doctor to make sure I was given care to get better as quickly as possible. I am also very happy with the settlement amount. Overall, this was an excellent experience (except for the accident, of course).

I was referred to this attorney by one of his assistants thats a friend of mine. She was so helpful and was really up to date with my case. She also passed me on to the girl who was in charge of my case. The girl speaks very fast but she was wonderful and very accurate. I wanted more money than what was settled for, but sometimes we think our "case" is worth more than it really is. I want to thank not only the attorney Ruiz I want to thank the staff at the law office because although it took a little long, the results were great.

I was a little weary of this attorney since some of the reviews weren't great, but my neighbor had great results so I trusted in the offices of John H. Ruiz. Since I went to the first meeting his personnel were all very helpful. I didn't meet with him directly at first, but he did come around and was informed of my situation.... I wanted to do a loan modification at the time that the market went belly up. I was advised by this firm not to continue paying my mortgage in order to show hard ship. Instead, I had to pay them on a monthly bases. I was advised that bank of america would be willing to forgive the upside down on the pay off and life would be great. Not only was that a bold face lie, but I ended up in the worst situation. The bank implemented a forced placed insurance that cost about $11K a year, also they did not forgive one single penny from the time we stopped paying the mortgage. Some in about a 2 and half year time frame, the bank added about $200K to my original balance that was about $330K. So now I owe over $515K and this peace of work attorney that claims he is the best in the industry, turned his back once I got the loan modification papers. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON SOMETHING YOU CAN DO DIRECTLY WITH YOUR BANK.

I met Mr. Marinello at a hearing I had with the County for some code violations. The case being heard prior to mine was his. His presentation was very prepared and very professional. I was very impressed. I asked him if he could represent me in my case and he agreed. Mr.Marinello was a God send. He immediately took my file and crossed examined me after the County Assistant attorney finished and savede from going to jail. I will eternally be greatfull to Mr. Marinello for his services.

When you hire a lawyer is for them to be like your Guardian Angel not to have to be arguing with them to receive the right medical care and their help to obtain the best medical attention not having to wait four months to actually receive help to get an MRI while in pain also being dropped by my doctor for the lack of professionalism handled by this lawyers assistant. STAY FAR FAR AWAY!!! My case was simple. 3rd degree felony telling a bad cop (Miami PD Union President) he is going to lose for a non justified arrest on a misdemeanor for public disturbing the peace after I and my daughter got beat by no less than 6 men. I went to the Attorney as she read good on police abuse cases (I should have read all her reviews first) She came across as sincere and very religious. She led me to believe this will be tough, even though I thought otherwise and wanted $9500 for all the work through any trial. I trusted her and paid. In the mean time it was one way communication between myself to her. I investigated the Officer and sent documentation of his years of disservice as well as making up charges. His numerous civil complaints and even the MPD Standard Operating Procedure versus where in my case he never followed this violating my rights. No response. On a Zoom or in person meeting, it was not made clear to me, the DA decided not to pursue so it was dismissed. At best her office did $500 worth of work filing the original documents.
Now having paid $9500 for at best $500 worth of work you would think she would do another $500 of work at best to get it expunged??? NO!! Her workload was too large and recommended her friend at another $700 to do it???
One would think she has some morals or ethics and would refund some of the $9500 for doing $500 of work??? No!!! I requested both through her email portal and no response.
In addition before excepting the criminal case she was more curious on civil action where she could make bigger money. But when her other Attorney stated not a good case only then she did the criminal my guess knowing it was an easy case and easy money.
Moral of the story is do not use this Law Firm. Do not be fooled by the sincere, godly attitude. Do not pay an Attorney initially all in, pay in pieces. Most Attorneys work that way.
Why was I treated this way from this Firm? Probably greed, mixed with lack if morals, ethics??? Hard to tell because for $9500 I had little time to learn about this Attorney outside of a fraudulent tone and approach to how she works. STAY AWAY.

La peor de las experiencias, el primer día para firmar el contrato me llamaron enseguida, luego era extremadamente difícil comunicarse con ellos. Primero me explicaron que el seguro del culpable tenía 45 días para aceptar o no la culpabilidad, al final terminaron aceptándoles más de dos meses, llamaba y no me daban respuesta alguna hasta que de un momento a otro y sin preguntarme previamente me cerraron el caso. La peor de las experiencias, no lo recomiendo en lo absoluto.

They take your case and send youbto chiropractor and then 2 months later tell you oh by the way the person that hit you doesn’t have bodily injury. Shouldn’t you have done that b4 you took my case!
You call the Office and they never available, transfer you to a vm which is full or leave you on hold for 15 min. Very unprofessional

Terrible horrible service. We hired Katie for a small matter of a few hundred thousand dollars and she was by far the worst attorney we have ever worked with. To say she is unresponsive is an understatement. Numerous emails and phone calls would go unanswered for weeks at a time, followed by weak excuses. She simply does not respond, nor does her staff. She does however, bill very promptly. When we told her we were going to take our case elsewhere, she gave us a solemn promise that she would be more responsive but there was no change. As a result of her poor responsiveness, the case dragged on for far longer, and cost much more, than it should have. We were very unhappy with Katie Phang and would advise anyone who asks to avoid using her.
