Please be cautious of this law firm. Several warning signs should not be ignored. Mr. Brown, in particular, was highly problematic. He attempted to have me undergo anger management without my knowledge as part of a deal he made with the prosecutor. Neither he nor the law firm returned my calls, and he failed to appear in court when required. He lacked communication skills and legal knowledge. He seemed more interested in cutting deals with prosecutors than defending clients' rights. I eventually had to hire another lawyer who could highlight the inconsistencies in the false charges against me, resulting in the dismissal of the case.

I hired Mr. Maglione for a case where I hired a contractor to
build a two family house and the contractor never finished the house .To make long story short at the end of the day I walked
out with a $339,000 judgement against the contractor. I was very

After I slipped and fell on a puddle of water in a department store bathroom, I didn't know who to call. My aunt recommended Robert Solomon, so I gave him a call and I'm so glad that I did. He answered all of my questions. The client communication was excellent. The office staff was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Mr. Solomon even gave me his cell number to call anytime. Although the department store initially refused to make a settlement offer, after 18 months of litigation, Mr. Solomon obtained a six figure settlement for me. I suffered a devastating injury at work when a scissor life tipped over and crushed my foot. A friend referred me to Mr. Solomon and I'm so glad that he did. He sued the town that was responsible for my injuries. The case took several years to resolve. Mr. Solomon always returned my calls and kept me fully informed as to the progress of my case. He settled my case after a mediation for almost 2 million dollars. I now have enough money to live comfortably for the rest of my life.

I feel obligated that I need to post this. I had previously posted a review on December 25th 2014. The only reason I made a post is because I was asked many times by Robert Solomon (Metrolaw) himself to make a post because he wanted to elevate his rating. I was pressured and bullied into doing this and did not feel comfortable posting a review because Mr. Solomon was not done with this case, not even close to being complete, but I was afraid if I did not do it he would take it out on me. I have the original emails of him asking me to do this as well as the email I submitted to AVVO to prove authenticity and truth.
Mr. Solomon is not a truthful person by any means and I found out many things he did behind by back.
As a matter of fact I do not feel he cares very much about his clients. I was sent another clients personal medical information and documents. I could only guess this was done in error and or negligence because there was no connection between my case and the other person's case, a client named Susan. I can only wonder if this is the same Susan who posted a review. I also received other clients documents that are not medical. What is sickening is that I told Mr. Solomon many times he sent me these documents and not one did he ever ask for me to send them back. Great way to look out for your clients over a situation Mr. Solomon caused.
I see on the AVVO website on Mr. Solomon's profile "we have not found any instances of professional misconduct for this lawyer". I am confused.....Mr. Solomon shared with me in depth multiple times he and or his firm had been sued for legal malpractice many years ago. He always spoke about how this affected his legal malpractice insurance policy.
I can name many other serious issues but I will let them be handled in the proper fashion.
I highly question any review on this profile after I was pressured into submitting a review. Mr. Solomon should try and put the effort in and do the work and earn a favorable review instead of bullying a client into submitting one.
Lastly, I see why he had removed from his profile he was a former municipal Judge in his hometown of Norwood. Google and read the order from the Supreme Court of New Jersey. They found his conduct and violation of rules/ laws to be serious enough that he was censored and banned him from holding or securing judicial office for a period of 5 years. WOW
Don't be fooled by Robert Solomon or Metrolaw. Find an attorney who is truthful, follows the laws and actually cares about his clients.

Incredibly terrible law office. Lack of communication is their biggest issue. My attorney changed 4 times and I was only notified once of the change. During my case I moved out of state and the office made a doctor’s appointment for me. In order to make that appointment I had to take off work and my husband had to take off a week of work (no pay) because we have animals and there was no one to watch them so we had to drive to NJ. When I get there, the doctor’s appointment is cancelled and no one notified me. We kindly asked for some kind of compensation because we just took a week off work with no pay for literally no reason, we were told “that’s not going to happen.” When I was supposed to originally receive my settlement check, it was expired bc the amount had changed from the beginning of the case. The paralegal who was working on that left the office and no one decided to continue her work. I called three different times and I was told every time that I would get the check by the end of next week (3 different weeks). Finally, (three months later) I spoke to someone in accounting and was told that my check isn’t ready yet, but it should be within 1-2 days. 30 minutes later, my attorney calls me and tells me that my check is currently on its way to me. I said how? The accounting dept just told me it’s not ready. He then said, well if that’s what they told you, go with that. Just the lack of communication and lack of truth are truly dumbfounding. I have never left a bad review in my life, but this whole time has been SO incredibly infuriating and frustrating and I am severely disappointed in the professionalism at this law office.

Mr. Bailey is very unprofessional and money hungry. He will tell you what you want to hear just to get your money and then never do anything for you. I had him for a whole year and he did absolutely nothing for me he was supposed to, so I fired him and hired a new attorney and he did in a month what mark didn't do .

Mark Bailey is amazing! He is incredibly knowledgeable, professional and does everything he can do to fight for his clients. I hired him for a criminal case. He was very kind and respectful. On the morning of November 17, 2020 during the height of COVID, I reached out to the Anthony Pope Law Firm to schedule an appointment to discuss my accident case. Later that day I was sitting across from Anthony to discuss my case. What was most impressive was his quick response after spending 7-10 days calling numerous law offices and getting nowhere. He settled my case on May 5, 2021. The settlement was far more than I ever expected. From the time I first met Anthony, until my case was settled, he kept me informed during the entire process. Anthony and his staff were very professional.
On June 28, 2023 I reached out to Anthony Pope to represent me in another accident case in which I had a slip and fall down a flight of stairs on April 4, 2023. I went to Anthony for help with my husband’s case. I knew by looking at him, he was the man for the job. And he did not disappoint! He showed up to meet my husband one hour after I spoke with him and during Covid no less! He worked with me on his fee because he understood I was in a bad spot. He has walked us through everything and kept us up on all info immediately. Even after everything was all said and done, he still keeps up with us, unlike other lawyers. My experience with Yana Rubin was excellent.
A few years ago my husband and I had a motorcycle accident. Even though we were not at fault, things got very complicated due to the other driver not having car insurance. My medical insurance wouldn’t pay my medical bills. I didn't know what to do. Injured and devastated we searched for a lawyer as our medical bills started to pile up.
During our first meeting she was very kind, comforting, and compassionate. She made me feel hopeful. At one point when I expressed my doubt that it would even be possible to get any compensation, she reassured me. She said that it was another person’s fault, and it was very unfair that I had to suffer physically and financially.
Yana would always return my calls and kept us up to date with our case. I felt that she cared and worked hard behind the scenes.
Yana went above and beyond, even helping me with issues which wouldn't affect her compensation.
Yana was able to negotiate a much better settlement than I could have imagined. I am grateful for her time and persistence on my case.

I would not recommend this lawyer to anyone. She does not respond to phone calls, emails. After two years keeping my case, she just sent a letter, declining the case, without further explanation. Very poor performance!!!

I hired Attorney Matthew Wurgaft in January 2016 to open a docket in NJ court or to file under an already existing docket in the Wilentz courthouse but Mr Wurgaft didn't provide me a copy of the retainer agreement even after making numerous attempts to gain a copy in person, via e-mail service and telephonically. It was on March 10th 2016 when I terminated Mr Wurgaft for not having the complaint filed as he promised and for not providing me with the retainer agreement.
