So first off I want to give a BIG THANKS to Cindy and everyone at the firm especially Cara! The one that stood for me, she and everyone else has been great! If anyone reading this has ANY hesitation on hiring, take this review as a sign to hire! I was in a serious case with multiple felony charges, and horrible sentences I could be facing and man was I stressing! Did endless research on attorneys and looked to see what their grade was and if they had any bad doing. Amazing ratings on Cindy, even recommended by other attorneys! Everyone at the firm was so helpful and probably got annoyed by how much I called but it was for good reason haha, they are all so polite and helpful and they are so easy to reach! Felt Like having a lawyer on standby with a press of a button with how fast Cindy picks up, she even answers on the weekends personally! She worked along side Cara who was the main attorney on my case and she is AMAZING! I had the pleasure of working with Barry Shalen for a year and a half. Throughout the process, Barry was open and very direct about what the possible outcomes maybe for my case. I applaud Barry for being upfront and truthful about the reality of what the payout of my personal injury case would likely be. Most lawyers may blow smoke and say they can get an astronomical settlement for their clients. I'll admit, I thought I would be able to get such a settlement as well. Barry was able to assess the case and investigate every aspect of the accident, giving me an accurate ballpark of what he though my case was worth. After much debate with the defense lawyers and myself; Barry and I concluded that though we may not get the high number we were hoping for, Barry was able to secure a fine settlement amount with an affordable fee.
Overall, Barry did an outstanding job keeping me informed on the details of the case, including me on new developments and setting the appropriate expectations for the settlement. I would recommend Barry to anybody out there with a personal injury case. Barry is aggressive, knowledgeable, responsive and realistic!

I engaged Matt LaVelle to help negotiate a successful conclusion to a complex business problem. Some of our family trusts made equity investments and also were leaders to an operating business, which is very heavily regulated. The business performed poorly. Matt was able to identify a buyer for the business who planned to re-purpose the main asset. The relationship was complex because we had a business operator, landlord and other investors involved. He was able to negotiate a very successful conclusion, even though the landlord turned hostile and the business operator ended up with little to show from the arrangement.
Without Matt's personal minute-to-minute attention and his sensitivity to all nuances for the various parties involved, this transaction could never have come together. The end result was a very good outcome for the landlord, staff, customers, the new business owner/operator, and all things considered, for us. The former business operator achieved a graceful exit without liability or potential legal action. Matt truly negotiated a win, win, win arrangement for all parties. I would heartily recommend Matt to assist with complex litigation and sensitive negotiations. He is bright, capable, experienced and results oriented. He is 5 stars in my book.

Ms. Rubin has helped me with numerous legal issues, and I cannot say enough positive things about her services.

Kevin was our attorney for a car accident we had a little over a year ago. He was a great client advocate and was also a genuine, helpful attorney. Mr. Demaree represented me in a legal malpractice case where the first attorney I hired, in an accident/injury case, failed to reach a settlement or file suit within the two year statutory requirement. Mr. Demaree was thorough and professional. He initially told me that his fee would be 33% of my settlement; however, when he was able to reach a settlement quickly, he voluntarily discounted his fee to 25% in order to get me a larger settlement. He did an outstanding job of communicating with me and following through on his word. I would certainly recommend his services to anybody.

I had an auto accident in Sept 2013 were I was hit at a ref light with 3 of my kids in the car. Jan was not only able to get the full policy limits from the person that hit me policy but was also to go after my insurance company which was Geico at the time to go after the under insured motorist portion of it. In Feb 2015 I was involved in a hit in run accident and this time I have to sue my own auto insurance company because of all my medical bills we once again ate going for the full amount will see what comes of it. Jan does charge a little more then the attorney's that you see on TV but it's worth it he makes sure that your taken care of every step of the way. He thinks about you first. I've since 2013 have recommended over 8 people to him.

I asked Bob Shely to come in on a case that two another lawyers (at Bryan Cave) had been working on for months. At every meeting with the other lawyers had to brought up to speed on the case. Mr. Shely read "the meat" about the
case, spent 20 minutes discussing the issues and had a better grasp of what had gone wrong thus far and offered a solution that should have been realized long before I got him involved. This is one bright man who cuts out the fluff and B.S. and solves issues. Little wonder he's a partner in his firm.

Ryan J. Linder has been phenomenal, he has been so helpful. Not only did he help me voice my concerns to an insurance company who wouldn't give me the time of day, he got me what I deserved.
He managed to get my settlement number up and bring my medical expenses down. The drop in the numbers that he achieved was very surprising. i.e. I owed well over $15,000 to one doctor and he got them to accept just under $5,000 for it all!
I was beyond impressed. I'm still in shock. I didn't believe it until I got a letter from the doctor's office saying that I still owed the amount, less than $5,000 (I had to wait for my check to clear and they were just sending a reminder)
Aside from his extensive knowledge and impressive creative writing skills, he is a very kind person. He treats you as if you are his one and only client. He is very hands on and up front. You're not always talking to his paralegal. (She is a very nice woman as well. She took care of me while Mr. Linder was out dealing with other cases in court) The only time he is out of his office is when he is dealing with court cases. I retained him for about a year to a year and a half and not once did I have an e-mail go unanswered.
He has been very kind to me, very understanding, and listened to me complain about the same thing over and over, just different ways each time (haha).
