2 years ago, I got a speeding ticket 84 in a 60 zone and it was justified. I had just traded a Mini for a new Kia Soul and I honestly had no idea how fast I was going! I went through an attorney referral site and was matched with Matthew Faucette. We handled everything by phone and email. I signed the paperwork and sent the money. He assured me he would have it dismissed. Then I waited...and waited...and waited. Absolutely no communications whatsoever. I emailed. I called. Finally after several months he told me that he would contact me when it was resolved, that he was busy with "important" clients. (I have the emails!) I received a really high insurance bill. I called Matt yet again and he told me it had all been resolved and all I needed to do was pay court cost. I told him about the insurance bill so he said he would look into it. About a month later he told me there was an error with the clerk of courts and he had fixed it. The insurance stayed high. So, I did the research and paid for a driving report from the DMV. It showed 3 points on my record! I contacted Matt again (please note that at no time has he initiated contact except to ask for money). He said he would double check with the clerk. Then told me it was all fixed. It is 2 years later and still not taken care of. I emailed Matt again but this time no response at all. I have spent 2 days on the phone and 2 in person going back and forth from the clerk of courts and the DMV. I understand that my little case was not that important when compared to defending a kidnapper but the lack of interest, professionalism, and follow through has cost me hundreds in insurance premiums along with continuous aggravation. I do have every email for proof.

I put my 17 y.o. son in a group home thinking it would be in his best interest and it turned into a nightmare. He was seriously burned (1st, 2nd and in some areas possibly 3rd degree) over his shoulder and back, inches from his face. There was a thorough investigation, staff was arrested and charged, but no one confessed and my son couldn't tell me what happened or who did it. So, the group home took the stance that this incident did not happen on their watch at their group home. Despite some documented reports and other obvious information regarding this case, the owners and manager of this group home decided to flat out deny that they were responsible in any way for my son's injuries. Needless to say, this was a complicated case. I learned quickly that most attorneys prefer to avoid such cases, but Jay Mills was very willing to help and I will always be grateful. It was important to me that the owners and manager of this group home did not get to walk away from this incident without experiencing some repercussions for being the sort of people that would do this monstrous act and deny it. Jay Mills supported my need to advocate for my son and guided me through this very difficult ordeal including the legal process of a civil law suit. I highly recommend Jay.

Denial after only speaking with a secretary. Seems like they are more interested in easy wins and not really doing what can be done to help veterans. Too bad really. I am absolutely heart broken with the lack of care that was used. I retained Abby Holt to represent me regarding an estate dispute. Cut and dry my dad’s siblings said I didn’t exist and claimed to be his only heirs. This issue was time sensitive. She did nothing but makes phone calls, no letters or emails documenting correspondence between administrators atty..nothing. She left the firm and me without representation after nearly 5 months... She never filed a claim on my behalf. I’m not a lawyer I assumed I only needed to prove our relationship. She never should have taken my case or money. Now it’s too late for me to file a claim..

The “only secretary of the office” as she said herself is extremely rude and dismissive. She told me because of their workload the office will only respond via letters no information on the phone. When i asked the lady her name she tells me she doesn’t have to give me that information and that she is the only secretary of the office. I told her how can she be employed in an office and speak to customers in such a tone yet not want to state her name? When I asked to speak to her supervisor she said it was Allen Dubois but he was not there. I told her I will be making a complaint on her attitude and she hung up on me. Someone needs to fire this lady because why are you even employed if you don’t want to give your name or any information to the community seeking assistance from your office?

I wish I had checked his reviews before making an appointment.
I had a very simple question regarding what form to use and who should file the petition to get my son to immigrate and although Mr Suhr did give me the right form to fill out, the rest of his info was the opposite of what the Instructions were stating. Our meeting lasted less than 10 minutes as my question was so simple. The following day I called to point out the difference between his info and the instructions and was told that since I didn't sign an agreement, they would not help in any way clarify the matter.
I wouldn't mind their poor customer service if they at least had given me the right info.
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!

I highly recommend Paul Suhr because he has a lot of experience, knowledge, dedication, devotion to help immigrants and works very hard on each and every case. The staff is very efficient and fast to help and to keep you informed about the status of your case. Paul Suhr is well known and respected among the immigration authorities. Therefore, it is an advantage to speed up the process of any case. Thanks to Paul Suhr my brother was not deported and got his citizenship. That was how I knew this amazing Lawyer and I immediately hired him to help me in my very difficult situation. He never gave me false hope and yet gave me a lot of confidence. His quotes are low compared to other lawyers and to my opinion are very low to the great and amazing job that he and his staff do. Paul Suhr was present every single time I needed him and he was one step ahead during the process of my case. He was also with me when I took the test for my citizenship. Daniel fails to zealously fight for his clients. Promises are made without any follow through or action on his part. He routinely failed to know and apply the law and went completely against client requests and refused to provide exculpatory evidence. He was not prepared at court hearings and his egregious disregard to perform his duties as an attorney cost us greatly and has led to severe long term harm.

An auto accident I happened to be the on the receiving end, that occurred on August 25 of 2023. This process has been spotty with Eileen Mullen, she spoke to me maybe twice before a long 5/6 month stretch of no communication. I have been keeping contact as of late but if I’m not calling or asking about my case I don’t get updates. This case prolonging has created more issues for myself and 3 month old twins, the case is keeping us from procuring another vehicle large enough for two car seats. This case has been in the final stage which should only be 10 business days, for over a month going on two months now. If this case continues to drag on I’ll lose my home and my employment due to the lack of funds and transportation.
I won’t use Kellum again.

These guys are the absolute definition of trashy ambulance chasers. They are the reason everyone hates lawyers. Yes, they will start off being sugary sweet, they lay it on so thick. But they will not fight for you. If there's anything incorrect in the accident report or any reason for them to actually go into a courtroom and do some work, it is not happening. These guys are looking for the easy case where they can make some money off of your unfortunate circumstance. They don't deliver on what they promise, and I learned my lesson the hard way.

They don’t communicate with you, they lose your files and get you very minimal money and take more money than they pay on your medical bills. They told me they couldn’t get me more money because they didn’t have pictures of my car which I sent to them at the beginning. I’m not sure what exactly they did for me that I couldn’t do for myself. Go somewhere else.

Terrible experience. The firm over billed and under delivered. Attempted to resolve the repeated issues with them multiple times but they could careless. They are more focused on over billing than they are on their "clients." In all fairness, I only worked with a few of their attorneys before I cut ties. My experience does not speak for the entire firm.

I started an appeal with Attorney Jurney for custody. She didn't do anything on my case for over a year. Afterward, I decided to drop the appeal since the other party filed a motion and moved my case to another county, which was approved by the judge. Attorney Alicia has promised a refund, and almost 2 years later, nothing. They do not answer their calls or return emails when supposed to. I have had mercy and have waited months before writing this review, in fact I wrote a review about 4 months ago, and they reached out to me and told me they were going to get my refund just so I can take the review down, but never heard anything back after multiple emails.

Ms. Jurney is representing me in a child custody and support case. Throughout the prep work to the temporary hearing, I was thoroughly impressed by the amount of information we were able to exchange at each meeting, how quickly Ms. Jurney comprehended complicated expenses and child support calculations, and how well Ms. Jurney prepared herself was for the hearing. Going into the hearing, I already knew that not only was Ms. Jurney a highly effective lawyer, she had also well familiarized herself with the details of my situation and the disturbed mental state of the defendant to be able to handle the examinations well. For me, facing the defendant who abused me for over 10 years was terrifying. Ms. Jurney's calm, confidence, compassion and faith in me was the key that helped me remain calm and focused. From my observation that day and my past experience at other (50B) hearings, her professionalism and competency clearly stood out in the courtroom. I feel very fortunate to have Ms. Jurney representing me.
