My truck was stolen 9 months ago. Sorenson Law Firm represented me in to seek restitution for 9 months of continued payments insurance payments and expenses related to the delayed pay off of my stolen vehicle. James and Johnny at the law firm were relentless in their pursuit to get me a fair settlement to cover these expenses. I am convinced the insurance company would have raked me over the coals and even refused to pay for the stolen truck if I didn't have the backing of the Sorenson Law Firm. I will use these guys in the future for any and all legal matters that I encounter.

I am a Canadian that experienced a bad car accident in Arizona for vacation. I have never dealt with lawyers in the past. We called many law firms in Arizona and spoke to dozens of firms before we found Sorenson Law.
When speaking to other law firms, I often felt that I was just another dollar sign. I got the feeling that they wanted to maximize their profit and limit their interactions with me and my concerns. This left an overall sour taste about lawyers and made an already stressful situation even more stressful.
Fast forward to when we spoke Sorenson law firm, this was a vastly different experience. From the moment we called and spoke to receptionist, to the when we spoke to Mr. Sorenson directly, I felt a more personalized and caring approach. The firm was very professional and responded to us promptly. We were offered different options to our concerns, and also advisory steps before any payments. From our experience speaking to dozens of other law firms, this is incredibly rare.
In the end, we went with an initial strategic meeting with Mr. Sorenson. This was a great experience. Mr. Sorenson had a very client centered approach and was very knowledgeable. I never felt like I was being rushed for time. He helped paint a clear picture of what needed to be done and different ways of doing it. The most important aspect of our interaction was that he gave me a sense that I was finally in control of the situation.
If you are looking a lawyer, look no further. This right here should be the gold standard.

I want to be clear, the 5 stars i chose to grade is specifically for the work of one person only and that’s Chenique Smith! Chenique is the only person in this firm who treated me and my mother with thoughtfulness, professionalism and respect. If the words Cook Law weren’t next to her name i would swear i was dealing with my best friend or a close family member. She definitely made my mother and i feel important. Chenique paid close attention to detail and was timely in her response to our messages while remaining proactive in getting things done, whereas others simply made us feel forgotten. I hope Chenique is paid her worth because she definitely is keeping that office afloat.

Let’s be honest. Chenique is such a beautiful soul. I truly felt like I was talking to my big sister. She advocated for me, even though my case was extremely complicated and unique. She made me feel like I’m worth fighting for and genuinely expressed concern to rescue me from this crazy situation I’m in.
When I got off the phone with her, my boyfriend asked me if I was talking to my best friend… I told him that I was talking to the firm that was going to represent me for my accident and he was like… “You guys were talking to each other like you had known each other for years! Ryan and his team did an outstanding job of handling the intricacies of my case. He was very thorough in gathering the details needed for the case and empathetic towards my concerns and desires. I had worked with a couple of different attorneys in the past and none can be compared to the professionalism I received from Ryan. Throughout the entire process, he was patient and explained things in laymen terms so that I could understand without having to learn a bunch of legal jargon. Ryan handled my case with superior knowledge of the details as if he had experienced the events himself. I was impressed with the way he was able to recount details with ease and aggressively defend me at the same time. I was really nervous since I resided out of state but I feel extremely blessed to have found Ryan! I promise you will not be disappointed. Finding a good attorney should not be stressful since the reason you need one is probably already stressful enough. With his experience and background, I would go as far to say Ryan is the best in the state. I hope I don't need to but I would hire him again in a heartbeat if I did.

I was referred to Ryan Borges by my cousin. I had consulted with two other lawyers and was unable to find the right fit until I met with Mr. Borges. He quickly took my case and worked with my ex-wife's lawyer to de-escalate our divorce proceedings from a "she takes all" to a "give and take" situation. In the end, Mr. Borges facilitated a divorce that ended much more positive than it began. He was financially understanding and worked to stay within my extremely limited budget. I would recommend Mr. Borges to any person who is contemplating divorce.

I hired Ryan back in December to conduct discovery and finish out the rest of my divorce. E-mails would take several days to get a response, if they even got one at all, and he refused to submit formal discovery requests until 6 months of pestering him to do so. He only made a few informal requests which cannot be compelled and essentially are meaningless and caused a huge setback.
The unwillingness to conduct discovery also damaged my case by causing the arguments to be disposed from waiting so long, so some of the discovery I was seeking can no longer be sought. In the six months that I had him as counsel, he accomplished very little of anything at all. In particular, I needed him to get a written temporary order signed (the temporary order was already agreed on, it only needed to be drafted at that point) by the court and while he did get an order in, the language is incorrect and was not signed by the judge, so no enforceable order exists in my case now 7 months after I had retained him.
In addition, he would repeatedly pressure me to agree to a settlement when discovery had not been completed and became very frustrated when I refused to.
The breaking point was when he wanted another $2,500 deposit to finish out the divorce (at that point discovery STILL wasn't even started), even though he had taken my case on a flat rate with full knowledge that I had intended to take it to trial when we agreed on a fee. I was willing to renegotiate our fee, but not another $2,500 considering little had actually been done.
I ended up going back to my previous attorneys since their flat rate was the same price. Really, I should have stuck with them in the first place and saved myself the $2,500 I paid Ryan, since they would have handled everything up to this point and moving forward. I can't recommend Ryan at all for family law cases and recommend that you to consider other options.

Emile Harmon - or his office - lost my contract agreement with his office two or three times after I signed it ... and blamed me.
Emile Harmon repeatedly failed to return phone calls after he said to get in touch with him ... and blamed his (personally competent) paraprofessional.
Emile Harmon repeatedly told me he had physical therapists for me to go to after my injury but failed to return phone calls asking for their names. Later, he lied and told the AZ bar, where he has been reported for at least the second time, that he never said he had names of physical therapists.
Emile Harmon told me that he would be able to get a demand letter for my case sent within three months. Four months later, after numerous unanswered requests to see the demand letter sent to the party being sued, he sent me the letter.
It had numerous errors. I asked if we could fix it. He said we could. I asked how we could do that if it had been sent. He said it hadn't yet been sent after all.
When I couldn't abide Emile Harmon's lack of professionalism any longer, I asked for my case to be transferred to another lawyer in the firm. Emile Harmon resigned my case saying, in part, that without physical therapy, my case isn't worth that much anyway.
When he resigned it, he left me in a position where at least of some my medical bills have not yet been paid from my insurance (since his paraprofessional asked me to send him the release form from my insurance before I signed anything - I have no idea when she sent it out after that) and they are about to be reported to credit bureaus as unpaid.
I reported his behavior to the AZ Bar, where he is currently being investigated.
Update:
I also engaged another attorney who, despite Emile Harmon's predictions, got me a large settlement. This attorney charged me only 29%, as opposed to Emile Harmon's ask of 40%.
When I saw here that Emile Harmon had been sanctioned by the AZ Bar once, I should have paid attention and immediately engaged another attorney. This is now a decision I deeply regret.

Emile Harmon first struck me as a "no b.s." kind of man: he told me exactly what hurdles I was up against, the honest likelihood of me getting full custody back, and at first he said he didn't think he could win the case for me and so I should hire someone else! Since when do lawyers say that? He was amazingly straightforward, and we all REALLY respect that. He also likes a challenge though, since he decided to take my case, after really interacting with me during the course of the free consult: he asked tons of relevant questions, reviewed documents I provided, and listened respectfully to my questions and concerns (and those of my mother, who wanted grandparental rights) and then answered them honestly.
In the course of that one hour consultation he managed to do what 7 other lawyers before him could not: answer the legal questions we had without misleading us about the difficulty of our case yet not quashing our hopes, assess the state of our case accurately, and even form a basic plan as to how we might win. IN ONE HOUR. Most importantly, he made us all feel comfortable, and we knew we were dealing with a forthright professional who would serve us to the best of his substantial ability.
In preparation for the trial, we corresponded mainly with his associate, yet Emile was always available via phone, text, or email to further ensure that the plan stayed relevant and on track, or even just to answer any further concerns we had. He was consummately knowledgeable about the applicable laws and legal procedures. He always made us feel we had made the right decision in hiring him & his associate to represent us, every time we communicated. To be quite frank, he and his team worked their asses off for us, since we had a pretty limited amount of time until the date of the hearing by the time we found him. They were AMAZING. I was literally amazed at watching them work so flawlessly as a team; with such good humor, so quickly, and with total precision, even in the courtroom: right in front of the judge when they had to change direction on an issue mid-hearing.
Finally, and against all odds, we did win our case (joint custody is far, far better than a few hours every other Saturday!), and both my mother and I sincerely believe that Emile & his team are solely responsible for that victory. I've run out of the dozen cards he gave me because I've handed them all out to friends, even strangers. I've given his number to a dozen more. I'd hire him again in a second, and intend to do so should I EVER require more family law/custody issues legal help, and if I need help in some other area of the law, Emile is the only man I'll ask for a referral, because I respect his opinion so much.

Michael Trauscht handled a traffic accident where an epileptic lady had a seizure while driving and ran her car into my sister's car. I was an injured passenger in my sister's car. I hired Mr Pincus law firm. His crew is made up new young lawyers who have no clue just big egos. When I call for him to handle things he does not reply you might get his Manager another lawyer who is one foot above being new lawyer. No one knows how to deal with there clients only being bully. I have contract they sent me later that signature is not mine. After lawyer I hired at his firm quit. They quit on my case put big lien on it. I took them on I was already finished it half way. 10% gross lien for sending fax to insurance company and dumping and leaving you worse off than when you walked in.
You might have avoid this Mr Pincus if you called back on message I left you in your Tempe office and at your Tuscon office. To me your company has no clue of fiduciary or the Golden Rule.

A simple case with zero opposing evidence to attempt overturn of a Last Will. All we needed to do was have the treating doctor testify (he charged zero) and the Last Will witnesses (zero cost). My case should have cost $14,000 and I was charged $54,000. I am taking him to fee arbitration and plan to file with ACAP to determine the violations in this case. I will update this review with the panel determination of my overcharges of $40,000 per my analysis and documentation.

Incompetent, unreliable, irresponsible, and unprofessional are key words to describe this "lawyer". Severiano would rarely return my phone calls, sent me to obtain my own records, had me going to wacky chiropractors, and encouraged me to "play it up". Would lie to others while I was sitting in the room with him. Severiano would make inappropriate comments, and would get uncomfortably close when speaking to me.
I am still suffering from injuries, but the worst part of my accident was having this man to represent me. Unscrupulous work ethics.
