I could honestly not say enough about this man. He has helped me and my husband so much. We absolutely had not one answer to the questions we had but when we came to Larry he dove in head first and got our answers. This man would go to the ends of the earth for his clients. The closing of an estate in TN while living quite a distance away and having no experience with the process made me very fearful. Went to the internet for help and selected “Family Law Practice of David A. Montgomery”. Glad I did. I was panicking on the first phone call to David but his kind calm manner and patience put me at ease right away. Plus, I only had to travel 2 times throughout the year of closing. The second trip would not have been needed but there was a difficult bank. David’s guidance made my job as executor easy and stress free. He was very quick to answer emails. When my husband and I needed some estate planning and probate work done, we searched the internet and came up with David Montgomery. We went to our first meeting with high hopes of finding the right person who would understand our needs, address our concerns, and protect our interests all while charging a fair price. David has not only fulfilled our hopes, but exceeded our expectations. My husband has worked with more than 20 attorneys over the years and his biggest complaint has always been the responsiveness he has gotten. That is not the case with David. He might not have the answer right away, but he gets back to you in an expected amount of time and keeps you informed of his findings. That is huge to us! Our estate planning was not easy, but David dug deep with his research and, after every stone was turned, offered us the options he thought were best and we could not have agreed more. During probate, he exhibited professional and knowledgeable experience and knew how to interact effectively with the judge and other attorneys to get the best possible outcome for everyone involved, not just us.
We feel that David's high morals and strong Christian beliefs are lived out in his daily practice and makes him our first choice for an attorney. I met Mrs. Teresa during a very dark time in my life and was in complete shambles. After our first visit, Mrs. Teresa made me feel like a person again and gave me hope that I would recover from this unfortunate event. She is very thorough, caring, understanding and very, very good at her job. She made my experience much more of a delight than I thought was possible.
I also want to mention her assistant, Mrs Keri. She was also an instrumental part of making my experience a positive one. Mrs Keri is much like Mrs. Teresa with having very strong people skills and so very helpful throughout the entire process. She is a great asset to Mrs. Teresa’s team.

Before you hire Jerrold L. Becker from this firm, you should understand what type of "attorney" he is.
In a recorded phone call conversation from our past "attorneys" Paul Wehmeier/Kim Burnette, Becker informed them his client was accusing my husband of answering our front door with gun raised at his clients acquaintance. If that was the case, husband would have been arrested as acquaintance was unarmed. As my husband told Paul/Kim the interaction was recorded as we RECORD everything (including 10 minutes before showing acquaintance on his clients property before coming to ours). Husband wasn't even home, my recording clearly shows acquaintance walking behind our house and me from our top deck asking them to leave-no weapon drawn thus this LIE could not be legally processed. This is just one of several questionable actions generated by Jerrold L. Becker intended to make us spend more on attorney fees.
Take our advise: Record everything with this firm as it will save you aggravation and money.
Before this firm responds negatively to this true review, reminder: We record everything including the phone call from Jerrold L. Becker to my husband in which he states his clients true intentions.

I have been in a domestic marital circumstance for almost 9 years that 3 other attorneys, either unresolved or did a sub par job, that had me in a bad situation that I needed desperately resolved.
After calling Mr. Grant and explaining my complex situation, he spent over an hour in a free consultation explaining his ideas and expertise on my case. Attention I had never gotten in a paid hour with other attorneys. With that confidence, I retained Mr. Grant, and he resolved the issue in 7 weeks without stepping into the Chancery Court.
I will never call another Jackson Attorney except Mr. Grant and it was the first time I finished with an attorney and said it was money well spent.
Would recommend him to anyone in Jackson with a divorce, custody and support case as complex as mine or as simple as mine started.
I wish I called him 9 years ago.

Mr. Peel recently represented me in motorcycle accident. The case took a long time but he and his staff stuck with it in a professional manner that kept me at ease. When the case ended up in mediation, Mr. Peel not only wisely advised me and my wife during the process but he was on the phone with the insurance companies and hospital reducing the amount that we would pay from the settlement. This in no way increased the amount that we would pay to Mr. Peel but increased the amount of money we would keep. He didn't charge us an extra fee for this service which reflects his character and integrity. David became our friend through this process. I can't thank him enough.

Mr. Peel is an honest, hard-working, Godly man who exhibits a level of professionalism and care that is uncommon in his field. Blake took my case to trial when many others told me not to or just did not have trail experience. He got me a not guilty verdict on one charge and appealed the charge I was found guilty on. Which had a similar result. If you are thinking about going to trail I would suggest Blake Kelly. Several years ago when Matthew was fresh out of law school, he worked on a very large case for me that was highly scrutinized in the public eye. Luke came to my defense in an aggravated burglary charge, not only was he very responsive he kept my family informed about what was happening now and what was more than likely going to happen while I was incarcerated. On the day of my preliminary hearing he was able to get all my charges dropped without having to spend any more time in jail.Thats exactly what he told me and my family he would do. Luke is trustworthy and reasonably priced and I would reccomend him to anyone in the upper cumberland area who has charges pending.

I cannot praise Mr. Hagan and Ms. Baker enough for solving a real family crisis! Bill Hagan is single-handedly RUINING Lawyers' bad reputation! He and Ms. Baker got us through a difficult Termination of Parental Rights and Adoption Case professionally and empathetically. They knew what needed to be done from the very beginning and followed through with NO SURPRISES! I was very impressed with the way they coordinated everything though the Court so both Appearances went quickly and exactly as planned. We felt that the charges for their service were VERY reasonable and far less than what we had originally estimated. Mr. Hagan was such a huge help to me in my divorce. I needed to relocate to another state and wanted primary custody, and he made everything happen. He and Ms. Baker were great about answering my many questions and emails, and our divorce was finalized in under seven months.
