Call is picked up by somebody that is making sure I know that he doesn’t want to be answering the phone (weird they would apply for such a position) and I state that I have a military related legal matter. The guy on the phone instantly responds by telling me that they don’t do military law. Contrary to the Google search, all the reviews, the entire website, and all of their social media presence… they apparently DO NOT DO MILITARY LAW. Mind you, I was never asked to explain my case or what sort of outcome I was looking to reach. Just begrudgingly answered the phone and told me, with no knowledge of my intentions, that they don’t do the only thing they advertise. Fantastic. Updating to address his response. They can’t take my case that I have never described to them because they want to play around with the semantics of my choice of words. My (a person with no law background) words that I used when reaching out for assistance with… law. They recommended small claims court on the phone but small claims court caps at $7,000 rather than a half million. Anyways. This guy really said “21 a day? Let’s pump those numbers.”

Paulette Mueller made my grandmothers estate go broke, made her delinquent on her taxes (simply did not file) cancelled our homeowners insurance and accepted only roughly 8k on a full coverage 250k+ policy which has led to black mold growing in the home my grandparents built by hand making my baby very sick. Made disgusting remarks about our home upon inspection in regards to a guardianship proceeding while we remained polite and courteous despite the situation, and now, at the ripe age of 21 I am in therapy full time over the horrific consequences she and (others involved) caused that have now fallen upon my shoulders. I am utterly disappointed, and heartbroken. I will never be the same. My grandmother died in vain, under ungodly amounts of stress. May God guide Paulette to have a heart full of empathy and compassion towards her future victims. Only the Lord knows the amount of trauma and havoc she reaped on my beautiful grandmother. May God guide her to remain in a mindset of kindness, and fairness, as I wouldn’t wish this turmoil on anyone. But as my grandmother would want me to live, I forgive her. I only hope for her growth and progress in a positive direction for the future. I. Will. Never. Be. The. Same. I am gone. At the age of 21, I am now a shell of who I once was. The person that raised me from diapers, put me into college, got my first car, carried herself in such a generous and Godly manner, died in vain. May God rest her beautiful soul, because now her pain and stressors have become an everyday part of my life. The only human beings that loved me unconditionally, my grandparents(parents), are now dead and gone forever, and I am alone in this scary world. I hope Paulette can see my review as more than a mere critique but an insight to my new reality, and hopefully, some of what I said will invite a new presence of good faith to her future clients, not only for the benefit of them, but for her conscious as well. These folks have truly been a Godsend to me.
I was rear ended and injured pretty bad and the responsible parties insurance wouldn’t even answer my phone calls much less, pay for my medical bills that were just racking up.

This law firm I still believe is a good firm to represent your case. Although, I tried to retain them most recently. My review is regarding the intake staff personnel Sarah. Sarah’s professionalism, communication, and ability to listen and assist a client is subpar. First call, I specifically asked for a particular attorney, she then suggested another attorney. Due to them moving into the Dallas office the next day, she advised to give her until the following week for someone to contact me. I was patient and in that waiting time, decided I would go with her suggestion as the Dallas attorney was more affordable, closer, and honestly had stronger credentials. Never got the follow-up call. I called and she only kept trying to redirect me. There were some back and forth and I ended up requesting for one of the Managing Partners to respond to a specific request. Guess what, she follows up without ever asking but comes back with a generic response. Keep in mind, this is after waiting another week for the MP to return. I had to wait for her to go back to ask the original request. Long story short, her mannerism doesn't display trustworthiness, but a person who appears to want to do her own thing. I still don’t believe she communicated properly to the MP. It appears that she may not have the client nor the firms' best interest in mind. In my opinion she doesn’t need to be at the forefront when she has created weeks of delay and roadblocks, and she was made aware that I was referred by a reputable friend of this firm.

Though he was brought into the case at a later time, he reviewed the case thoroughly and quickly came up with various options for us. We ended up going to the trial and won the case. The address for this location is 8150 N. Central Expressway. The way google Maps takes you to is by Klyde Warren Park. Incorrect and stressing. The location is, of course, off 75 exit Caruth. The tall gold glass window is it on the right. The building has 16 floors, I believe. If you need floors higher than 9, take the two elevators closer to Rhino coffee. I wish I'd known all this prior to my 1st appointment at Taylor Counseling. Other than that, I would have given this location a five. Google Maps, fix the directions for this location, please.

When Life Happens...There is a Court System that you don't understand and a Judge who is a complete stranger to your situation that gets to decide the fate of the rest of your life. Our case was complicated and it went against the grain of what a Texas Family Law Court traditionally will allow.
Over a period of about 6 long months we met with various "The Best" Family Law attorneys....Most wouldn't even take our case - said there's no way we would win. Others said they could WIN OUR CASE without even hearing one word about it. Then there were a few that said they could get close to what we were asking but not all and it would cost us close to $20,000 or maybe even more.
Custody Case Expert, Attorney Terrence Ridgely, answered our initial call 10 pm at night - while he was out with family. He didn't put us off to the next day during business hours - no he started working on our case right then and there. He didn't just tell us he would win our case - he told us HOW he would. He prepared us for the battle we were about to take on. And took every frantic call, email, and text.

Mr. Harris is very personable, approachable and has a good relationship with the courts. This is a plus if you are dealing with sensible soon to be ex’es who want to move on and act like adults. But he is also a staunch, steadfast and passionate advocate when you are dealing with a case like mine.
He is a bull when confronting non-reasonable people. He is no push over. When the other side tried to use coercive tactics, Mr.Harris pushed back! There were periods where I would be in disbelief on how well this Lawyer carried himself !
He is the gentlest yet strongest person I've ever met. He was extremely passionate as he vigorously spoke up to the Court.
Mr. Harris later told me that they were trying to take advantage of me and that he was NOT going to allow that. I was touched.
That was confirmation that he truly cares about his client's and not just your check book.
If you are looking for someone who is looking out for your best interest and willing to actually listen to your needs and your worries during difficult situations, and get results , then this is the right attorney for you. He also provides you his contact information where he can be reached at all times unlike most attorneys who you’ll leave a voicemail for and never get a return phone call for sometimes one or two days which can be very frustrating. I've never seen a lawyer maneuver through trial the way this guy does. I was going to hire him as an attorney and decided to sit in on a public trial he was arguing. Holy SHHHHH is this guy good. I never ended up hiring him because my charges were dropped but what I saw this man do in court should be made into a movie. The the Jury ate it up, the judge ate it up, and even the DA ate it up.

My divorce case was fairly simple. It was just about the money. Bill returned calls quickly, during breaks at court, or mediation. Email turnaround was quick also, depending on the complexity of the information and documents to be reviewed and modified thus removing the necessity to meet in person to go over documents time and time again. This was a bonus for me!
I enjoyed working with Bill so much, I've hired him again for my probate case!

We dealt with Bill on a fairly simple, yet unfrequent issue: seller refused to release 15k in earnest money after cancellation of contract. The issue? Paperwork reached seller at 5:06pm instead of the 5:00pm deadline.
I sent Bill copies of all docs, set up chronologically by me. He interpolated with advice and found all possible contract loopholes. Then recommended that I, the buyer, write the seller pointing out the faults of the contract, and that they would likely end up having to release the funds, plus fork-out all additional costs - likely a few thousand each. Worked like a charm. As Tony Soprano would say: baddabim-baddaboom. His final bill wasn't exorbitant either. Def-rec!

Guys ... please don’t do this alone! I started out doing the friendly, no-lawyer divorce. We poked around on the internet, read the law and I was about to give the farm away.
I’m a relatively smart guy and able to figure most things out, but this ... way out of my league. I had a very simple divorce, no minor children, no real assets - only a house, nothing really to "fight" for. I surrendered all the furniture and was trying to be fair.
Bill was great, laid out the facts, applied his experience (don’t underestimate the need to find someone with experience), looked at the whole picture, and talked me off the ledge. I was giving too much.
We ended up going through mediation, Bill was calm and drama free, which seemed to irritated my ex-wife’s lawyer - bonus. Bill was rational and thoughtful with the mediator.
Bill listened when he needed too, asked only the questions he needed, and gave me some great advice. I know consider this an investment that has paid off. I was looking at years of support and contact with my ex-wife. After mediation, that was it. No support, no contact, life is good now.
I highly recommend you at least talking to Bill, see where you stand. Then decide, but you’ll do like I did and move forward with him.

I contacted Stum Law Firm for help with credit matters I was disputing on my credit report. I had tried to resolve several erroneous and false reportings on my credit report on my own but had absolutely no luck getting through to the creditors to receive proof of my debt(s) in an attempt to resolve the matter.
I was in the process of needing to secure a larger line of credit for business purposes but was unable to do so due to the errors on my credit report. I contacted Stum Law Firm and realized I was in good hands from the very first phone call. They took the time to get all of the details regarding my issue and made the retention process really easy and simple and they started working to resolve my credit matters almost immediately. The next time I spoke with the attorney about a week later, he was calling to inform me that he had contacted one of the creditors and they were removing their claim from my credit report immediately. The second was removed about a week after that. Completely removed from my credit report!
I can honestly say their customer service and professionalism really stood out throughout their time handling my case and I have recommended them to so many of my friends and co-workers who are experiencing the same issues with their credit.
