Everett helped me understand and avoid possible tax consequences to an insurance settlement I was going to receive. Everett is extremely knowledgeable but has no problems communicating when he needs to research something. He is professional but communicates legalese in layman's terms. He is very customer focused and communicates when he says he will which is very timely. I will hire Everett to complete my taxes this year and probably create various wills and power of attorney for family members. I highly recommend him!

My sister died unexpectedly and without a will. We live in Pennsylvania and definitely needed legal help. After reviewing lawyers with top ratings in Cobb County, I contacted three lawyers by email. Steve Worrall responded in 2 hours. One of the other lawyers contacted me days later, and the third not at all. The initial contact was not just a legal one, but also one saying how sorry for our loss in a genuine way. Steve was able to meet with us and offer help during the limited time we could spend in Georgia. Once in Pennsylvania, any questions we had were responded to by Steve or Karen in a speedy manner. Having been involved last year in settling a relatives' estate with nothing more than a software generated, one-size-fits-all Will, we knew we wanted something more comprehensive than that for our Estate. Additionally, we needed a clear, objective comparison of Trusts vs Wills, and which would be the best fit for us. After attending some local attorneys' introductory/free-lunch seminars, we felt far more comfortable working with Steve Worrall at Georgia Estate Plan. Without a doubt we made the right choice. We could not have completed the complex process of generating an all-inclusive Estate Plan that addresses potential issues without Steve and Karen's guidance and expertise.

I feel that Chris takes on more than he should and does not allot the appropriate focus needed in certain matters. Several request I made in working with Chris on 2 cases went completely unanswered, most others I would have to ask for more than once. Several administrative mishaps with both cases ranging from mistakes on documents, misunderstanding of court information by his office, and not being made aware of rate increases between the two cases. A lot of promises were made that were never followed through with. Very unpleasant experience.

I had a profoundly disappointing experience with Sell & Melton. From the outset, the firm's communication was severely lacking, with calls and emails often going unanswered for days. When responses did come, they were often terse and uninformative, leaving me feeling neglected and uninformed about the status of my case. The firm failed to provide the guidance and support I expected, and their apparent lack of interest in my concerns was both frustrating and disheartening.
Moreover, the legal advice and representation I received were subpar. Critical deadlines were missed, and important details were overlooked, which adversely affected the outcome of my case. Despite their high fees, the quality of service was significantly below expectations. This experience not only cost me financially but also caused considerable emotional distress. I would strongly advise against using Sell & Melton for any legal needs, as their lack of professionalism and diligence was evident throughout my dealings with them.

Mr. Bennett was quick to show not only his compassion for the situation but also his willingness to get the job done. Mrs. Sullivan was prompt in returning my calls when I was initially looking for an Estate and Gaurdianship/Conservatorship Attorney due to an emergency circumstances. Paul was recommended to me when I took my sorority sister to be diagnosed by a psychiatrist for hallucinations. She lived two hours away, had no family and had never been to any doctors, so there was no one to catch the problem early . I looked at the Doctor and said, "ok what do I do now?". He handed me Paul's card and said that he thought I should call him.
Well, this was a Godsend. After talking with Paul, I knew exactly what I needed to do. I now have full responsibility for her and he has been with me the whole way from getting her diagnosed with dementia, to helping with all of the legal paperwork and consolidating the finances (after having to find all of them first!) and getting her moved in to an assisted living home where she is getting topnotch care. If you need a responsive and caring lawyer, hire Paul!!

It is difficult to ascertain what attorney if any to trust Mr. Black has come highly recommended by several people. The issue I came to Amy for was guidance to set up a special needs trust for my sister. It was quite a bit complicated. Another attorney I went to before Amy did not even want to get involved with it. Amy is tenacious and determined to get it right. And she did! My case didn't look too great after the state picked it up and wanted to prosecute as a felony. I knew it was time to find an acceptional Attourney with a winning attitude. Someone that doesn't like to lose just as much as me. I made the call. Mr. Hamilton's receptionist took down my information and within a short amount of time I was speaking to Paul about my case. He never made any promises or told me we would get it dismissed. He did listen to me and understood my position. I was told clearly what I could expect at worse.
The court date arrives. They gave an offer, which Mr. Hamilton politely declined. I left with intentions of trial.
3 hours later I received a call and he told me my case was dismissed and to come handle the paperwork.
With all of this being said, your attorney is only as good as your expectations. I would recommend Paul Hamilton to anyone seeking legal advice/council.

I've been working with Kathleen over the past several months to redo my will. I learned so much from her during our first hour long consultation.
Kathleen drilled down into the details of exactly what I was trying to account for financially for my heirs. I had some "out of the box" things I wanted to do with my will and she listened and advised. Never realized that the last lawyer that did my will didn't even ask me to designate who would manage my grandchildren's trusts. Secondly, I had never considered that leaving my 401k and pension plan to the estate would be taxed vs. leaving directly to my kids would allow them the option to rollover the money for their retirements.
The devil is in the details when it comes to a will and Kathleen will cover ever detail with you.
