My estate planning attorney Caroline Emery was extremely thorough with her work. My previous will, similar to my current circumstances, was nowhere near as detailed as her product with its many attachments and documents. She explained in detail any questions I had about her work. It was very easy to contact or meet with her. I feel that her rate based on hours worked was very reasonable. I would recommend her to any of my friends.

I called Caroline Emery's office to find out if she can help me with planning for my Estate. Caroline called me back, listened carefully to what I had in mind, and proceeded to explain to me in details the best methods to satisfy my needs and to make sure that my Estate will be divided among my children as I requested.
After all the forms were completed, the following forms were completed and when appropriate registed with the city: Last Will and Testament, Durable Power of Attorney, Heath Care Suurogate, HEPAA Authorization, A Living Will, and Naming a Pre - Need Guardian. As for my persoanl Residence, she prepared an Enhaced Life Estate, commonly known as Lady Bird Deed. I never knew that many form were needed for such a request. She very patientle explaind every subject and tailored my request to aviod going to Probate after my passing.
I was very pleased and appreciative of her actions and I must say I was expecting to pay a lot more than what she charged me for all this work.
I sincerley thank Caroline for her attention to the details and the way she tailored the forms to fit my needs. I full heartedly recommned Caroline to anyone reaching that age where thinkin of Estate Planning is a must.

Caroline Emery was the best in helping us get our estate planning done and completed in just 4 days. This process usually takes about 3 weeks. She returned my call within 1 hour and explained the cost and what all it included. Told us what documents we needed and set up our account. Before I knew it our inbox was filled with everything we needed to fill out. She was very knowledgeable, personable, and honest. My divorce was ugly, from start to finish. I was in such a bad place when I had my first consultation. After speaking with Josh Kelne, not only did he have excellent credentials, he was professional and kind. He walked me through the entire process from start to finish. He was communicative throughout the entire thing and always made my options clear. I never had any issues with him calling or emailing me back. He is easy to talk to and understands the laws fully. If you want someone to be real with you, he’s your guy. He doesn’t over promise but has always delivered. I have used Josh for all of my family law needs and used him exclusively for over 2 years. Josh was always the calm voice of reason in an emotionally charged situation. When you need someone to help you stay in check but also listens to your frustrations, Josh is 1000% my recommendation. Whenever my ex husband threatens legal action, I immediately go back to Josh. He is always my first call and he always takes my call. There aren’t many lawyers that make you feel like you’ve got someone fighting for you, but Josh will. My case was "simple," but only after he had to rummage through a giant mess, another Jacksonville Attorney made. He immediately started working on my family law case over custody and jurisdiction. He had it completed long before I ever imagined. He made out-of-state communication easy and updated me often before I even started to worry. He knew right away what to ask me for and where to get it. His quick dedication and response were worth every dollar spent.

This past weekend (Dec 2020), I was in Jacksonville, FL, with an emergency order. When things started to get complicated, I called him. He immediately made himself available, remembered me and my case, and offered advice and information. He didn't have to do that, but he did. I was arrested last May and had to rely on the Public Defenders office to defend me after paying an outrageous Bond with nothing left over to hire an attorney. I had a legal defense to the charges but the Public Defenders office told me it wasn't valid and that I should just take the 22 months in prison the State was offering. The prosecutor was out for blood and just when I lost all hope of maintaining my freedom I was able to make enough money to hire Melinda as my Attorney.
During my first meeting with her, I knew she would fight for me. She told me I didn't need to worry about the charges and that my fight was now her fight and that she would get me an outcome that wouldn't involve prison or jail time.
After explaining my defense to Melinda, she confirmed what I had suspected, that it was valid and a way we could mitigate the charges contrary to what my public defender had told me.
I just heard from Melinda today and she was able to get my Felony charge reduced to a Misdemeanor and I went from 22 months in prison to just 12 months on Misdemeanor probation. With two small children, a wife, an elderly mother and Grandmother to provide for, going to prison would have destroyed my family's lives and mine as well.
If you feel like your case is hopeless and beyond your control, it's only because you haven't hired Melinda as your attorney. There are a lot of people in this world who will take your money and promise you a great outcome, but Melinda actually cares about her clients, fights for them and doesn't let the prosecutor conspire with the public defender's office and police to put innocent people away for years in prison.
I would literally be in prison right now if it hadn't been for Melinda. I literally owe her my life. She's given me the freedom to raise my kids, earn a living, and move on with my life from this horrible experience. Don't even talk to another attorney... HIRE HER TODAY!

Never go to court without an attorney even if you are an attorney. Mr. Slama knew from the beginning the truth of this matter and without his assistance my battle was complicated and if left to the understudy of an unlearned judge could have years of appeals to reveal the truth. Me and my family settled about a month ago and all I'm hearing from the paralegal is they are working on it ..I was told that after you settle that it does not take long to receive the check..now my mom said they won't even take her calls ..they are not good at communicating either.. I wish if we would have chosen Morgan and Morgan or someone else but we had no idea that they work so so slow .and the big part too is no communication at all ..they dont think we know but we know they pushed for more money anyway when we say we were ready to settle..they did want they wanted to do without our permission cause when you settle it is not suppossed to take months

Long story short I was taken for a ride on broken promises then broken word. He did NOT fulfill one thing and after second chances, he continued to be as far away from a respected attorney as one could hope for. The final blow was he told me he would reimburse me my consult fee and guess what? That did not happen either. He wasted valuable time I did not have after losing my mother. I would rate a negative if it was possible.

Jonathan Smith assisted me in a situation that had no precedence. We were given 5 minutes before the judge, which turned out to be 40 minutes of questions and answers. Mr. Smith was well prepared. Hired Mr. Smith to represent me in a civil suite. He told me one thing in consultation and ende up not completing the case. He withdrew upon the bases that he didn't have my phone number. That's not true, all information was filled out on the retainer fee paper; before the consultaion. And was provided to him during the consulation. He personally wrote it on his legal pad. I feel the case was to challenging for him.

So I’m sure every client experience will vary based off their factors regarding their divorce but here is my take on it. The firm can be expensive without a doubt. However I am sure there are more expensive and cheaper firms out there. I will be paying off my dues for a bit to come, but you are paying for the experience the firm offers. If I did not seek representation I would have absolutely been taken advantage of by my ex. The firms professionalism and knowledge was shown when my cases counsels started going head to head.
I was represented by Chauntel Miller and she did an amazing job helping me throughout the whole process which was lengthy. Not only was she able to get a deal that I was happy with and worked best for me and my child she taught me some renewed attributes such as self confidence and discipline which was definitely lacking during the divorce. She was promised to do when a gave her the case At the end I come out with nothing. My Ex made 300k and I made 50k she make me pay for everything. I ended up paying him money.

I recently sold a condo in Middleburg (I'm based in LA) without going through a broker and hired Brenda to help me handle the sale. Brenda was amazing, and I can't recommend her enough. She's extremely thorough, professional, and organized and whenever I had a question she got back to me within a few hours. Based on my limited experience with other lawyers that's definitely not the norm.
