Jim was assigned my case while working at a larger firm. I felt that he was fair with his billing and, while he didn't always know the answers immediately, he was good at finding out what I needed to know and getting back to me. I guess it's a disadvantage in some ways that he has a little less experience than some others, but I felt like that just made him try harder. He was a big improvement over the lawyer that I worked with previously. I felt like he was actually trying to help and not just trying to make money.

I am a father of three. I was never married to their mother, and she was not allowing me to see them. I wanted to just get visitation rights to see my children again. I had been paying for child support, and knew that I had rights as their father. However, I was unclear as to what they were. A friend had referred Patti Jane Lay to me. I will say that I almost hired another attorney because she is difficult to get a hold of. Luckily, God put in my heart to just be patient, and she returned my call the next day. Patti Jane was amazing in just explaining to me the different options I could take. After a troubling phone call from my son, I decided that I needed to go after emergency custody. We had to travel across the state just to even take it to court. She made me feel confident every step of the way. Patti Jane seemed to anticipate everything that would take place, therefore she prepared me for everything. I didn't just get rights to my children, I now have full custody of my children, and I am so grateful for her. I found it comforting that her husband is a retired attorney, that came to the courthouse as well, and her son is an attorney as well! What's even better was when I got my bill, and I really feel like I got the deal of a lifetime! She was so helpful and an absolute Godsend. The best part about her is that, she actually cares as to what is best for the children. I highly recommend her if anyone is curious about child custody.

My elderly father and I met with Mr. Crouse to discuss asset protection. We found out early in our consultation that Mr. Crouse would not be able to help us going forward, because my father lives out of state, and he would need an attorney from his state to draw up the trust.
However, Mr. Crouse still spent over an hour with us, educating us about our options. He explained everything in a way that we could comprehend. He answered all of our questions and really made sure we understood. He could have easily sent us home, but didn’t!
I highly recommend Mr. Crouse. He’s extremely knowledgeable and you can absolutely tell he is passionate about his calling.

What can I say about Ryan Shamblin? His representation was impeccable. His insight and ability to legally guide and recommend the path of least resistance and uncertainty towards a most successful outcome in my real estate contractual blunder was something to admire. Frustrating at times because I wanted to go in with guns blazing because afterall I was right. However, his insight on how the scales of give and take in the realm of law and mediation actually work. His ability to communicate without arrogance was also admirable. Lawyers can be arrogant but not Ryan. He is educated, patient, and kind along with a great personality. Justin Bell represented me in a case where I was charged with felony possession. I was offered a felony plea, but Mr. Bell held a preliminary hearing and fought very hard for me because he knew I was not guilty of what I was charged with. After the hearing, the Class-B Felony charge was reduced to a misdemeanor. I've never seen another attorney get that done. If you are over-charged with a crime you are not guilty of, I would definitely recommend having Mr. Bell represent you because he gets results.

I was the victim of a domestic assault and was physically injured as a result. however, I was falsely accused and charge with a class D felony for as legally providing a false report to the investigator officer. But Mr. Bell believed in me and fought for me and my rights and having a hearing general sessions court. After question the officer on the stand, Mr. Bell was able to establish that any information given to the officer claimed was not true, had nothing to do with whether or not the assault occurred. So the judge dismissed the case right on the spot. If you want a good lawyer, one that really kind, intelligent and Works fast Mr. Bell is your man!

The closing of an estate in TN while living quite a distance away and having no experience with the process made me very fearful. Went to the internet for help and selected “Family Law Practice of David A. Montgomery”. Glad I did. I was panicking on the first phone call to David but his kind calm manner and patience put me at ease right away. Plus, I only had to travel 2 times throughout the year of closing. When my husband and I needed some estate planning and probate work done, we searched the internet and came up with David Montgomery. We went to our first meeting with high hopes of finding the right person who would understand our needs, address our concerns, and protect our interests all while charging a fair price. David has not only fulfilled our hopes, but exceeded our expectations. My husband has worked with more than 20 attorneys over the years and his biggest complaint has always been the responsiveness he has gotten. That is not the case with David. He might not have the answer right away, but he gets back to you in an expected amount of time and keeps you informed of his findings. That is huge to us! One of the most aggressive, honest and client orientated lawyers I have ever come across. Don't get mad because of the slow communication, the man is busy with other cases than your personal plight. Email him, be proactive and honest. Don't be lazy and expect him to know or dig for all the details of your case. he will fight for you and get back to you when he can. He spoke up and intimidated two different lawyers in my defense they looked like two chihuahuas shaking and snarling. The judge listened to logical reasoning, Bill and ruled in our favour.
