The process of hiring a Lawyer can seem confusing and daunting, especially to someone who has never done so before. The legal process itself can seem to be abstract and arbitrary. When you are injured, a case can take a considerable amount of time to resolve which can compound the initial stress and duress of the initial injury.
Luckily then there exists a team of people like those at Leighton Law. Everyone that I worked with over the course of our nearly three year interaction was incredibly kind, patient, professional, and knowledgeable. While I could carry on nearly indefinitely with positive superlatives that wouldn't do anything to illustrate the point I'm trying to make here.

I hired Kenneth Kaplan to help with me with a very complicated divorce case. A number of attorneys preceded him and were unable to make any forward progress: in fact, a couple of them only served to make things worse. He reviewed over 1000 pages of case files and quickly had a thorough understanding of the issues. The case involved custody of a minor child and a number of financial matters. I found Mr. Kaplan to be a consummate professional who not only took pride in his work but also cared about the outcome of the proceedings. He was easy to get hold of and always returned my phone calls promptly. His advice and court action were always based in fact and tempered by financial practicalities. His advice created appropriate expectations and oftentimes served to dampen down my desire to move forward in a manner based more on my emotions than on my intellect. My experience with Frye, Fortich & Garcia has been a very positive experience.
My husband and I did our trusts, but unfortunately, he passed away before we were able to implement changes. Ms. Garcia outlined everything that needed to be done for the estate. She guided me in the necessary paperwork and completed all the necessary court papers. In the process, Ms. Garcia also caught a big mistake the courts made by appointing the wrong executor. This was promptly corrected. I was advised of all the steps taken throughout these proceedings and told of all papers needed. If I did not have them, I was always provided with help.
