Justin has represented me on the purchase of a large business, the sale of two smaller businesses, initial creation of my trust/estate planning documents, complete restructure of my estate/trusts after my divorce and a ton of small real estate related matters along the way. He is an invaluable resource and I cannot imagine hiring anyone else to represent me. He always has my best interest at heart, is thorough and most importantly realistic and ethical. If i shouldn't do something I want to do, he tells me why I shouldn't. If i am missing something, he tells me what I'm missing. Hire him. You will be so glad you did!

AAL Clarke assisted me on a bankruptcy case. He patiently and positively handled this situation with me professionally. I never wanted to be in this position in my lifetime - so that may have been interesting for him at times. He explained the process in detail with knowledge and confidence. Assisted in quickly finding appropriate filing timelines. He was a great asset and affordable through it all! Promptly returned my various inquiries. David was accessable when I needed a question answered by phone, email and text. And when busy, he always got back to me in a reasonable time. I was very comfortable that he was looking after my best interests during the process. David was not as aggressive as other lawyers, which in a high conflict divorce might be necessary...However, I found him very personable and easy to work with during a time of great stress for me. I will continue to use David in any follow up and would definitely consider using David in another area of the law in the future.

Joseph Feary comes off personable reasonable and intelligent. He absolutely did not show up in the most basic sense as a lawyer or small business owner. Despite being the *actual author* of the OREF forms that allow legal real estate transactions between parties without lawyers he *failed to correctly fill them out and file them*. This cost me the sale of a building the owners had agreed to sell months before in an amicable sale he was writing the contract for. He did not return calls or emails and had no counter person paralegal or support staff to address emergencies. As a small business owner and first time home buyer on a live work project this was the single biggest investment and dream of my life and livelihood and he did not show up on the day he was to file the contract. No one could reach him. The sellers thought it was shady confusing behavior because he had been in contact the evening before and they took another offer that arose in his absence for less money than I was offering. What an absolute nightmare to have trusted someone so uncommitted badly resourced and shamefully negligent at his profession. It was a done deal and should have been extremely easy to accomplish. He was in no way accountable for this mess. The next property of similar use cost more than $150,000 additional. Steer clear of this lackluster lawyer and save yourself time money and heartbreak !

Things in my legal malpractice case completely have changed from a year ago I sent in a complaint to the Oregon State Bar and nothing's been dismissed but they won't take the time to review my case again. The person I spoke to was very short and dismissive when I called today. Sorry I wasted your time and bothered you again office of Judy Snyder !!

Was asked to review newly revised estate and trust documents. She criticized the previous work, but ultimately didn’t change anything. 90% of scheduled meetings were cancelled or rescheduled. Lots of excuses used, not focused. We now have a $4+ invoice with only one (4 page) Trust cert document.

Erin's firm handled the probate for my brother's estate. She took on a difficult estate with mountains of debt, one which I thought would be insolvent, and through skill and negotiation was able to secure a sizable inheritance for my brother's two children. The best possible outcome. Throughout the process she and her excellent team were in constant communication with me, informing me of every step, answering my many questions, and dealing with numerous other issues well beyond my grasp. She definitely made a stressful time much easier to handle.

My mother passed away in October of 2023. I contacted Mike Romano at Schultz & Associates who came highly recommended by a realtor friend. My mothers Estate went into probate and I was the personal representative. For those who have not dealt with the probate process & laws I will tell you without a good attorney you will be lost. Mike was very patient, communicative & kind. Even when a few unexpected issues came up the probate went smoothly & closed just recently. I would recommend Mike Romano to anyone as an attorney and person you can trust who gets the job done!

I’m a disabled veteran and Joel basically tried to steal my military benefits by not correcting a judgement for over a year. He is pretty sleazy. He has been recommended to the disciplinary board at the BAR and I’m pretty sure they will be taking away his law license so I really wouldn’t bother employing him as your lawyer. He’s trying to say this review is fraudulent because he doesn’t want you to find out about his disgusting lawless behavior

I just finished a mediation with Jennifer Paul at Saalfeld Griggs law firm in Salem, OR. Jennifer was extremely well prepared and knowledgeable toward the issues present. We used a zoom presentation and it worked flawlessly. The mediation lasted over 10 hours and Jennifer's energy was amazing and tireless. We had plenty of time to get to know each other, while still being present in the meeting. I'm glad we are done, but would gladly give a huge 5 Stars and Thumbs up to her tireless work.

An agreement with an attorney in the office of Mayor Law was signed 2022-Oct giving Mayor Law proof of representation in an auto claim. Officially PIP was exhausted 25 April 2024. May 16 the attorney received digitally all payments; bills, notes, coding. At that time we should have sent the demand letter. I waited until July 4, 2024, contacted her, accepting the $3000 offer from April. I signed an agreement 29-July-2024. She received $3870 for costs and fees. I contacted her August 20 asking when I would get the settlement. She had been waiting on Progressive to update the Medicare liability section. She told me she still needed lien information on Medicaid, DHS, Medicare, and Med Advantage - and the 3 small businesses that treated me. I was 7 hours on the phone 20-23 August 2024 to contact insurances about liens on the settlement $3000: Medicare over the phone told me there was no lien (2nd payor and there was no hospitalization ZERO came in the mail today 9/9/2024). I called and got the procedure and fax number to Recovery for Mayor Law. Email attached attorney requesting I provide all Providence visits, summaries, billing. Attached ZERO owing PHP. DHS Medicaid (they faxed info right away which could have taken a month) in response to long email that EOB shows owing. My 3 small business folk who only take cash unless it was PIP were asked to provide the same information already given by my insurance carrier on May 16 to the attorney. 9/6/2024 Friday I received call stating the duo Advantage and Medicaid for medicare members NEVER create liens but would reversed to provider. Received a lien for $11.08 for xray would be paid correctly if Ayin Health Solutions would submit through Providence and Medicaid. Seems Mayor Law made a deal to pay 11.08 out of settlement without first notifying me! I have to deal with an attorney that would do that! HOW come they continue to argue they are still searching for a lien to take out of the settlement. It gives me the creeps. Ayin Health Solutions understood the attorney did not do the research before negotiating the cost to be 11.08 for the xray. They are voiding the lien today with Phia Group LISTEN. Mayor Law did not do the work she agreed to and I was on the phone 7 hours beginning it. Mayor Law is taking the 11.08 out of settlement anyway! Trashy company.

Absolutely amazing, A+! Peter Carini is the first and only attorney I've ever contacted who actually answered his own phone - immediately, on a Sunday. As a paralegal, I can't even begin to tell you how rare that is! I was fully expecting to reach his office voicemail and maybe (probably never) get a call back from his receptionist to schedule a paid consultation the following week. Except Peter not only answered what must have been his cell phone (unless he was in the office working on a Sunday!), he listened to me without interruption and offered consice insight into my civil legal matter based on his experience and knowledge of the legal process. (Note: This is not the same as legal advice and does not constitute an attorney-client relationship. That's my FYI, not his.) He was totally straightforward as to whether it would be worth my while to hire him and explained how I could instead advocate for myself. Peter is an exceptionally honest and decent human being, and I am so thankful he answered my call. After speaking to him for 7.5 minutes, I felt hopeful again about a situation that was intimidating and seemingly hopeless. I cannot recommend him enough. Thank you, Peter!

I was arrested near the southern OR coast and charged with DUII, reckless driving, and eluding (a Class C felony). I hired Mr. Carini based on a referral from a local attorney that he was "superlative" for Southern OR criminal defense. The first step in my case was the Oregon DMV hearing. I faced the prospect of losing my license for a year because I had refused a breathalyzer test. During the hearing, however, Mr. Carini observed that the police had improperly handled my request for a lawyer during the arrest. This observation led to the hearing officer throwing out my license suspension. After this, Mr. Carini negotiated with the prosecuting attorney to drop the reckless driving and felony eluding charges (a great relief) and got me into DUII diversion at my first appearance. Peter walked me through each step of the diversion requirements until I completed it after 12 months. Consequently, the end result of hiring Mr. Carini was all charges dismissed and no license suspension. I couldn't recommend Peter more highly for criminal defense in Southern OR.

Excellent Lawyer! Laurel Hook will definitely take care of you during a very difficult time in your life along with your family dynamics changing. - She along with her team are absolutely amazing! She definitely knows the intricacies of the divorce laws and is there to represent you to the fullest. She talked me off of ledges on many occasions, I came into her office terrified of filing for divorce but knew I had to and she walked me thru a very complicated process paying attention to so many details, I had no clue about. She explained her strategies to me in ways I completely understood and felt comfortable with. I finalized my divorce with confidence due to her support and knowledge. Her team is there to come beside you which I was very thankful for. If you want the best lawyer, go with Laurel Hook esp if you divorce is complicated with a business or other stuff. Very happy to have used Gregory Gudger for my recent divorce. These things are tough for everyone, and Greg stayed focused and was extremely helpful in helping me craft a fair, equitable, and compassionate settlement...for both parties. I know that my ex-spouse would also agree with this assessment. Even though it was a non-contested proceeding, there were still a lot of moving parts that had to be dealt with, and I wanted someone who would help me make the outcome fair for us both. My ex and I are still great friends, our new lives as seperate people are working out great, and I owe Gregory's sage advice a great deal of the credit for making this happen. Side note: My will also had to be re-written after the divorce, which I was able to sail through with Gregory's help. Done and done. I highly recommend Mr Gudger, if you're looking for a committed, fair, knowledgeable attorney who will listen generously and advise honestly!

Our family has relied on Mr. Gudger for most of our legal needs, from fighting housing related issues to creditor lawsuits. Mr. Gudger took on an old creditor that tried to take everything we own. He found a loophole had the lawsuit dismissed, saving us $100,000. The investment we made with Mr. Gudger was worth it. And, over the years, he has advised us with positive results. No lawyers are perfect, though some might think they are. Sometimes you have to pay to find out there's nothing you can really do. But, even that advise is valuable. I refer Mr. Gudger whenever I can and have recently sent two friends to consult with him. He's accessible, down to earth and is a fighter. I'll go into court with Mr. Gudger any day.

In the eleven month period of Mr. Gudger as my attorney I'm in the same place as I was at the beginning of my child custody case. Mr. Gudger was at first, for a couple of months in seemingly helpful, yet there were things that just didn't seem accurate that he was telling me around my case. He didn't seem to know my case, or my name even, until I was beginning to show frustration from me leaving voice mails when he was not in and it would take days to finally reach him. He did not provide me with monthly invoices for services rendered, instead it was a telephone call requesting more funds but to no explanation of what for. I personally felt no reassurance for the last six months of mr. Gudger as my attorney. He failed to provide, a note of leaving my case of any kind yet he insisted he was no longer my attorney. I came to him in hopes of some justice to my case . I am still scheduled in court in January with him as my attorney but to my surprise he let me go with not so much as a phone call, email or written statement. I also paid a deposit for a court session to mr. Gudger for a court appearance that never happened which he just kept, and now he doesn't respond to my phone calls or emails.

Mr. McNichols took the time to meet with my partner and myself to discuss the estate of my mother-in-law who died suddenly and without a will. He provided us with sound advice on how to move forward with her debt collectors and closing her estate. He was very personable. The hour of his time that he gave us helped calm my partner and my's nerves about the process and gave us a path forward. I would highly recommend his services if you are in need of legal assistance.

Mike had drawn up my mothers will so I mistakenly thought he was a good source counsel for her estate planning. He always seemed rushed and not up to speed on her file so that our interactions we're always rehashing the last appointment all over again. Hindsight's 20/20 but he failed to offer quality advice regarding power of attorney with my mothers bank account while she was still alive, costing us $24K after her passing. I'm no expert on estate planning but apparently neither is he, I would recommend anyone look elsewhere for those service, I wish I had.

I recently contacted Sonia Ickes to represent my daughter, who has been fighting Glioblastoma Multiforma, Stage 4 brain cancer since 2016. My daughter also had a stroke (caused by the past radiation treatments of her brain cancer) in December 2018 which caused her to become legally blind. My daughter needed to be on disability through the Social Security Administration so that she could also obtain Medicare for her treatments. Sonia had represented clients in the past on Social Security disability and did such an amazing job that I wanted to hire her to represent my daughter. I was wise in my choice of Sonia Ickes. Sonia agreed to take the case. She was very thorough, kind, and competent. She was always available to take questions (we had many), and she got the claim into the Social Security Administration quickly. My daughter received her Social Security Disability in just a few weeks. We could not have done this without Sonia. Sonia is a really intelligent, caring, and highly competent attorney. I can't say enough good about Sonia and her professionalism.

Ms. Ickes did a terrible job during the time I hired her to represent me. She chose her own course; never kept me informed; did not prepare me for hearing; instead of doing her job in the courtroom, she chit chatted with the opposing attorney. When the hearing had a negative outcome, she did not counsel or advise me of next steps. Shoddy paperwork. Be forewarned.

Do you want an attorney that gets your boys in an a child abuse situation to the point the state issues a immediate danger order then this is the one for you! Had to file a case against him with the bar association and now small claim court. Perfect attorney for you and the reason they sit under lazy boy because he is an A××××××××× . Thank God my children are safe and with me now and I have full custody and the new attorneys we hired after we claimed he didn't have my # and called my co signer and told them to tell me he is quitting.

I was nervous when I first met with Kathleen, i wasn't sure if she was representing me, or was the Prosecuting Attorney. Her no-nonsense approach soon earned my complete respect, as she completely, unequivocally had my best interests at heart. Kathline backer did not discuss my case with me much AT ALL. She does not return phone calls when i have said they where urgent AT ALL. I would not recommend her AT ALL, as she has treated me with no regard what so ever.

When I opted to call Dave about a real estate transaction that I was being sued over, I never knew how fortunate I was in making that call. What should have been an easy matter to resolve turned into a 2.5 year battle - all because of the unprofessional behavior of the opposing council. I knew very little about the civil litigation process and statutes that govern them. Dave was very patient with me and made sure I understood along the way what to expect and the options I had at each decision point. In this way, he was a coach and trusted teammate. I could always depend on Dave to communicate quickly and openly everything that was going on between him and the opposing counsel. When I would ask for his opinion I could expect a calming voice on the phone often talking me off the ledge as I would catastrophize the situation. His advice was invaluable. These were the “soft” skills that Dave brings to the practice. Things that maybe you wouldn’t consider in choosing a lawyer. He presents himself as the neighbor next door and has a wide range of contacts and resources to draw upon. In addition to his personal style, Dave is an excellent lawyer and his years of experience shine in his knowledge of the law and the steps that need to be taken at each point in the case. In the end, we won the case without having to go to trial. But I had total confidence that if we would have gone to trial, we would have prevailed because of Dave’s preparation and full understanding of the case and the approach he would have taken. What could have turned into a financially ruinous situation for me turned into a windfall with a partial return of money that I had spent defending myself. DO NOT HESITATE TO MAKE THE CALL if you find yourself in need of a responsible lawyer that you can trust and depend on to represent you fairly and when necessary aggressively.

Just make sure that if you receive a check from them for settlement, that they bother to sign the check!!! We had to drive an additional 2 hours back and forth to get our check signed !!!!

Years ago DHS shared confidential information about an alleged report of sexual abuse. The person who got the information took me to court on 3occasions. He decided to protect my kids. Well if DHS had ever bothered to investigate,they could have read Looking Glass Crisis team assessments. Turned out my kids thought I’d pull them out of counseling if they false reported..Wrong..now you are definitely going. DHS shared information with anyone who would listen. I was assaulted over this..Ya I need another appointment George..My identity was stolen. George was great and looking forward to working together again.

I reached out to Hilary of HAN legal when my Dad's Trust was suddenly defunded by his girlfriend - after he was diagnosed with severe dementia and had a major stroke. Dad had set me up 8 years prior to be his Trustee and successor POA. After Hilary couldn't reason with the girlfriend, she proposed a straightforward plan for me to pursue Conservatorship and Guardianship. Through the process she kept a professional and diplomatic tone. She proactively and tactfully handled messy & potentially volatile situations, keeping me updated and informed. I attempted four times, to get my case herd. Spoke with first lady that was headed off to vacation. She let me no that she will pass my message off to lady on the next Monday. Asking a few times if it made since, if she got enough info for me to have to wait three days for someone to contact me.. Never happened..I called again, this lady didn't see the notes taken, asked me to explain.. once again as I am in need of help, says I'll call you tomorrow, never did. I call again, an tried connecting online twice at this point.. Fourth call I have to explain situation to be relayed to someone who might have time to hear her as soon as he was free to do so, to expect a call in morning if not that day. Don't not hear a word back as I truly needed the direction or even a simple no but maybe try this person. Kinda made me feel unjusted as I still do, still can't seem to say the right words to have a lawyer call me back for a true consultation. By the reviews I see a great group of people ... I just need a direction please
