Diane Zuckerman was referred to my by a lawyer friend who gave her his highest recommendation. I engaged Diane to help me with my mother's estate, will, HCPOA, etc. a number of years ago. I cannot say enough good things about my experience working with Diane.
I called Diane about help interpreting a will and she took the time to not only explain the different parts of the legal document and how this effected how the will was governed but offered suggestions and options for dealing with my unique situation and the challenge I was trying to work through.
In addition, Diane was ready to offer introductions to others locally that could be helpful in resolving the issues I was trying to address.
The law is so complicated and Diane was able to take the time to clearly answer my questions in a language that was easy for me to understand. She was also compassionate regarding my situation as I imagine most of these situations are very sensitive in nature.
Finally, Diane was very timely in returning calls and reviewing the work I had requested of her. I would definitely hire her again.

Folks, Michelangelo is the real deal. I wrote a review a few months ago on behalf of his staff when my father-in-law was in need of Medicaid services, but had not had the pleasure of speaking with the man himself until this morning. Town home community. All homes are given 1 parking permit. I had visit one day, and ran out of parking spots, so I photocopied my parking permit. The tow truck company found out and towed two cars (Car with OG parking permit and car with photocopied one) AND it broke into my car and removed my original parking permit.
The HOA and members of the board refused to allow me to purchase a parking permit for my home (despite it NOT being in the rules). The rules did not say that a Parking Permit could be revoked via decision of the board, so I contacted DJS Law Group for help.
After months of emails, letters, and conversations between DJS Law Group, the members of the board, HOA management company and the attorney representing the Members of the board, DJS Law Group was able to help me get my parking permit back, and I’m very thankful for their involvement. I wouldn’t have been able to have a parking permit again without their help.

Hiring a lawyer to work on your estate planning is a extremely delicate matter, there are many decisions that need to be made when you are setting up a estate planning and trust. We met with Robert to talk about updating our estate trust a few months back after interviewing other lawyers. Mr. Walton Was a referred to me by another attorney. My parents died close together and they had some loose ends. Mr. Walton did a professional job and dealt with several siblings that were extremely difficult. As a law enforcement officer of 32 plus years I would highly recommend this attorney. Mr. Walton was a class act to the end of this estate. Advice I have is to have an attorney like Mr. Walton help plan before the passing of a person in professional legal binding way. My siblings threaten to write bad reviews about Mr. Walton but it is without merit. Mr. Walton's advice was second to none dealing with difficult siblings. This told me he could handle any estate. Mr Walton was hired to manage a very complicated probate case involving my grandfather. He worked diligently to stay on top of things and always kept me informed. Mr Walton was required to not only work with the courts but the attorneys for others involved in the case. The end result was two homes being sold and proceeds dispersed to all stakeholders. At the end of my case I felt I was losing a family member because he became like family. I had another situation to deal with in South Carolina, Mr. Walton put me in touch with another wonderful attorney who also helped me. I will really miss working with Mr. Walton.

Ms. Jacobs worked with my Dad to write his will, so I also hired her to handle his estate. Upon notifying her of my father's passing, she informed me of what I immediately needed to do, and to put together a list of questions for our initial meeting. Throughout the entire process, Eileen was professional and in constant communication with me. I hired Attorney Jacobs to represent me in a military retirement former spouse benefits case. My first impression when I met her and listened to her, I immediately thought that she really knows her stuff. She was confident and knowledgeable of military law. In January we went to Sarah for help in applying for Medicaid for our father who is in a nursing home. Sarah helped up with information on how to navigate the cumbersome task of gathering all the documents necessary for Medicaid approval. I had a particularly strange divorce case being my now ex was in prison at the time. Ms. Locke was recommended to me by a friend who had her in their very difficult divorce case and described her has brilliant, tenacious, and had a big heart. Ms. Locke was that and so much more. She was so kind and understanding to me in my situation. She is intelligent, she didn't sugar coat anything, and always responded quickly to any questions I had (and I had a lot). I am so happy that I contacted Derek to help me with my divorce. I had spent a ton of money retaining a lawyer prior to reaching out to Derek, and ultimately didn't get the assistance I needed. When I contacted him, I was at my wit's end, emotionally, dealing with financial strain, unhelpful professionals, on top of a painful divorce situation. I had been dealing with a very difficult divorce situation, and I needed a lawyer that would listen, understand, work with me as opposed to overide me, and keep me up to date and informed with a challenging situation.
I spent weeks and then some searching for the right lawyer, and then upon a recommendation from a friend found Derek Lucas.
I explained my complex and complicated situation to Derek, and he picked up on it right away, and agreed to work with me in the way I wanted and needed, and lastly we agreed on a fair and reasonable payment for the services. Derek lived up to all of my expectations.
Derek kept me up to date as requested and as he agreed.
The case was concluded in a satisfactory way.
I would highly recommend Dereek and his firm to anyone, and in fact I have referred him to several other potential clients already. Needless to say the next time I need a lawyer for law that he handles, I will be calling upon Derek Lucas again.

Drew is the best. He and his team are very courteous and professional and helped me handle inheritance after my mother passed without a will or much of a plan. I hired Mike to represent myself and my siblings when our fathers second wife looted a trust fund after our father's death. While I very much wanted to recover the trust money, I did not want to spend a lot of time and money to get a judgment against her only to be unable to collect, or to spend more time and money on collection. I explained this to Mike the first time we talked on the phone, and throughout our almost 2 year journey together he never forgot it. All of his actions were geared toward recovery, not a useless moral victory. In the end we did prevail and recovered all our money and had our legal expenses reimbursed. The second wife's attorney had an excellent reputation, so victory was not easy or a foregone conclusion, yet Mike was able to counter them at every turn.
I can't say enough good about Mike, and I recommend him without reservation. I should add that I live in Colorado, so I never met Mike in person. We conducted all of our business via phone and email, and he was always very responsive when I would reach out to him.
