Della was very friendly and honest in her dealing with me. I felt very comfortable discussing my case with her. I was deathly afraid of my husband and she made me feel safe when we went to court. She didn't leave my side and was not afraid of him. I was impressed with her command of the law and the situation.

I was a victim of domestic violence. Della helped me to file charges against my husband with the local police department. I had tried many times to file charges with the McAllen Police Department. They never listened to me until Della came to speak to them on my behalf. She educated me as to what my rights were and as to what I needed to do to get a protective order and go through with the criminal charges against my husband. She got a protective order for me and went with me to all of the criminal court hearings for the case against my husband. She also helped me divorce my abuser and find a job.

Mr. Petterson is a rare find. He is honest and up front about everything that could or would happen in my divorce proceeding. During my marriage, I had acquired several properties, both separate and community property. I did not know anything about how to divide the assets, or what my legal rights were. Mr. Petterson was very encouraging and his staff kept me well informed, and answered all my questions along the way. Definitely an A+ attorney.

Divorce is never an easy time. But Jay Petterson made it as painless a process as it could have been. He advised me of the best process to handle this difficult matte and kept me informed along the way. Most law offices have a receptionist who screens calls, and you never actually get to speak with anyone who can provide information, and they never return calls. His staff always answered my phone calls and emails, and never made me feel like I was a bother. If you are on a shoestring budget and want the knowledge and experience of an honest, dependable attorney, Mr. Petterson is the one you should hire.

Having had horrible experiences in the past with lawyers, I was very reluctant when I had to hire another one. Mr. Petterson was recommended by a close friend, but I was still riddled with fear about being taken by another dishonest crook. Mr. Petterson surpassed any and all expectations a client can have about their attorney. He is not only knowledgeable, but honest as well. He took care of my matter in a timely fashion and his staff kept me informed and answered questions I had along the way. I have known Walter from the time we were in grade school. We were in cub scouts together. He has allways been trustworthy and responsible. Working with him on a legal issue, speeding tickets, he was great. He bonded my wife out of jail on the Wensday afternoon before Thanksgiving. So he had to take time away from his family and was very profesional and quick in this matter. Thank You Walter..... You can't find a better person to work with. Or a more knowledgeable Lawyer..... I have had two experiences working with Dustin, both were very good experiences. One was dealing with probating a will for a relative, which was a sad time but necessary obligation to "make happen". Dustin made this as painless as humanly possible. The second experience was to get my own affairs in order with a current will, POAS,,and Living Will. Again, Dustin's patience working with me, a client that is difficult to stay in contact with, was above and beyond lawyer's usual efforts. He put my affairs in order with a professional and knowledgeable skill that was certainly needed and appreciated. Mr. Foust was willing, able and ready to fight with me and for the mods of my case. Together we got our custody agreement overturned from my ex husband to me. He was there every step of the way and never left me to defend myself. He's very law savvy and knows all the loop holes not to fall into. Jeffry is very professional and always works in a timely manner. He will "throw down" in the courts which he does so well. I highly recommend him for your unfortunate family law needs. When I hired Jeff Foust I was at the end of my rope with constantly fighting my ex-wife over everything. Barely over a year after we had finalized our divorce she filed for child support modification. We hired Mr. Jensen as our attorney in a civil case against our past landlord who would not return out deposits after moving out. Not only did we win the case thanks to him, but he was also able to collect the moment allotted to us in the settlement! Even after court she was fighting to pay and us what we were owed but he managed to get the money.

With nothing illegal in my background of fifty (50) years and a sudden case making no progress, Eric Jensen was the only attorney to answer my plea. I wanted someone out of my county, did not know him but we met at his office on Sunday afternoon. It had been seven (7) horrible months since I had gotten a Class A Misdemeanor. An additional charge, not included in the arrest had been added six (6) months later. Meeting with Eric on Sunday afternoon put us in the adjoining county court that next morning and the matters were settled due to his exceptional ability to present. Mr. Jensen also represented me in a divorce case two years later where I was the defendant. Representing me for what appeared to be a rather simple divorce, the matter turned in to a complicated case that included division of several companies. Mr. Jensen immediately secured a monthly maintenance fee for my living expenses and again voluntarily traveled to a neighboring county for the hearings. The demeanor displayed was always one of professionalism, preparedness and presented in a manner so factual that opposing attorneys, while displeased to be incorrect, had no choice but to agree with Mr. Jensen. At times he had to deliver information to me that was not pleasant, but he and his lovely Madeline made those few times less stressful, offering the issue succinctly followed by several suggestions to be considered for conclusion on the particular matter. Always prepared, always timely, available to me at times out of the ordinary and exhibiting confidence at every appearance no matter the county or opposing attorney, Mr. Jensen and his representation for me made times that could have been very despairing in to times of experiencing gains in my personal strength and reassurance of valuable coping skills which one sometimes loses when faced with such complex legal matters. All in all I do not think there is a better team to handle any legal matter thank Mr. Jensen and Madeline. The professionalism, knowledge, assurance and ability to convey comfort to the client along with a record of winning cases are traits everyone wants in their attorney. Eric Jensen possesses and has displayed them all.

Decided I needed to hire an attorney, after a local healthcare provider served me with A lawsuit after non-payment for services. Having health care insurance and never going without lapse in coverage was a little blindsided by this. Wendi Andino was a great advocate in my case, she was able to proof negligence on the behalf of the healthcare provider and not billing my insurance in the required time therefore causing The claim to be rejected. I will recommend Wendi Andino in the future.

Julia at Nickerson Law Group recently established a living trust for me. Originally, in my first consult questionaire, I thought I needed a special needs trust. Julia was extremely paitient and detailed when she outlined my choices. Both Julia and her paralegal Kim, made sure I understood my options and took the extra time to answer all my questions. Julia is great at thinking outside of the box in order to customize my trust; my circumstances are not the norm, I have special concerns about taxes/government benefits. Julia is very knowledgeable about special needs government benefits programs (Able accounts, SSI/SSDI) and she took the extra time to ensure my needs would be protected. During my signing consult, Kim, Julia's paralegal explained in detail answers to my questions and what I was signing. Additionally, Kim was very specific about the financial steps I would need to follow. Julia's staff was extremely responsive to my further needs: sending me referrals for tax professionals. The price for all services is extremely good. Instead of hourly billing, I was charge a one-time fee, which covered all the consults I needed plus questions through email to her paralegal. Furthermore, unlike some practices who charge hourly for help after your trust signing, the Nickerson Law Group provides help for free or at a discount. Since I use a Pc screen reader, (I am visually impaired), Julia and her staff took the extra time to make sure all documents were accessible to me, something that is rare. I highly recommend the Nickerson Law Group for all estate planning needs, especially in the areas concerning special needs and disability issues. It was a total relief to find an attorney who had the experience to make a complicated legal prcess so understandable.

I don’t know where to start!!! As a father, my dream is to raise my children and help them to be better than I am. After consulting with many other law firms Lisa was the ONLY attorney that gave me the piece of mind that she would go full throttle in my defense. After getting not possession at all, thinking of the worse outcome possible for my daughter and me I went from no possession at all to the unexpected; I got half the time and child support. This attorney is a wonderful human being, very professional, efficient, smart and fair. For my own experience I can tell you that this woman is so great at what she does that she can achieve the impossible. Thanks to Lisa Adams the life of my daughter and my own can be better than what I thought it was going to be and my child can have her mother in her life and have a much better life than what at times I feared she was going to have (perhaps not being able to see her mother or see her every other weekend). Amber is an AMAZING attorney. My cousin and I are starting up our first business and she has helped us in every way possible, from creating the LLC, operating agreement, and filing the DBA - all in an extremely fast manner. She not only knows the filing requirements but is also very personable. She also, did my cousin’s parent’s wills. She was very patient with them as they are elderly and made sure everything was exactly what they wanted. Although my wife and I had a will in place, we were looking for legal assistance to address a trust needed for a planned distribution for our grown daughter, spouse and grandchildren. We had an idea of direction, but were anxious to find someone who would hear our concerns. How fortunate to have found Amber Homulka. My divorce was very difficult and involved custody of our two children. Divorce can be a very difficult time with all the emotions that are swirling about you. I certainly didn't know anything about divorce other than I needed one. A friend recommended Kathleen and I am very thankful he did. She was always calm and a voice of reason. She directed my energy to what was important. First was my children and second was my finances. I honestly didn't care about the money at this point. I wanted a divorce and my kids. From the start I was advised on what to expect and how to prepare. Kathleen is very serious about her job as an officer of the court. She is very ethical and definitely was concerned about the best interest of my children. Her integrity is unwavering. She is very pragmatic in her approach. I never was unprepared or surprised even though the opposing attorney went to extraordinary measures to rattle me. As I sat in court and watched our attorneys operate it was apparent to me that I was very fortunate to have a true professional. Kathleen was very much about facts and the law while the opposition was focused on spinning a tale. The opposition had 3 attorneys and dollies full of documents when they entered. As the trial progressed it was apparent that it was all for show. It became obvious they had never read any of the documents. Time and time again Kathleen pointed out the facts. My ex and her attorney were very surprised at the outcome which is still a puzzle to me. There are established rules, guidelines and laws that the court follows. They do not rule based on accusations, emotions and showmanship. Outside of the courtroom Kathleen has been the same type of adviser. My kids and I were in dire straits and some very bad behaviors were popping up. Again Kathleen was a person I could lean on. It took quite an effort but I was able to restore my kids well being. My son had been missing school sick with anxiety for years. He was getting into mischief. My daughter was questioning if she wanted to continue living. Today both kids are excelling. Taylor due to his issues was not accepted to UT Austin as he had hoped. He was given the opportunity to attend UT Tyler. If he performed then he would get acceptance to UT Austin which was his dream. Not only did he meet their requirements; he made the dean's list in Tyler. He will realize his dream and be attending UT Austin this fall. My daughter who was depressed and reclusive will not keep quiet these days. She has been and still is a straight A student. She began playing high school soccer and has made numerous friends. Most importantly she is happy and wants to have a full life. A lot of people have helped us through some very trying times. Kathleen was the first there. She made it all possible. If you need an attorney I highly recommend Kathleen Vossler. Not only did I get a fair settlement; it is one that my conscience can live with. The life coaching was an unexpected bonus.

Hired Nick to prepare Wills for my Wife and I, as well as a living Trust for my daughter. Nick did a great job. We were entirely satisfied with his services, and his fees were reasonable. Also worth noting that he shares office space with a larger law firm, so he has access to resources that a one man operation might not. Would use Nick again.

I am happy to give my strongest recommendation to Mr. Souza. I hired him to help me draft a prenuptial agreement and what I thought was going to be a painful process turned out to be just fine! He clearly has integrity and you can tell when he plainly tells you what to expect and how the process works. I engaged Mr. Souza to re-write my Will and accompanying estate planning documents. He was very efficient and knew all of the correct and important questions to ask. He was very focused on me as a client, and I had his undivided attention at all of our meetings. If I specified something in my Will that would not have played out the way I expected during probate, he was quick to catch those issues and offer alternative ways of dealing with them that would create the outcome I was looking for.
