A very long overdue thank you to Sibylle Grebe and Lorenzo Stoller for taking control of a seemingly out-of-control situation during the early days of Covid in 2020 in protecting my father and his estate from his deceased wife's children. I initially met with Sibylle to have her represent my dad after his wife had passed, in figuring out how to best protect his assets. While she was unable to represent him due to capacity issues, she was able to represent me. Sibylle had me move quickly to find the original trust documents which had likely been drafted without much input from my father a few years earlier, floating everything from making sure I had co-power of attorney and co-trustee powers on all the documents to considering a conservatorship. Lorenzo then took over the case and seamlessly helped draft new documents that protected my father and helped me keep oversight over his wife's children. My dad now resides with me in Washington state, and has since regained some capacity. Although he has shaky recollection of that year due to the stress of his grief and Covid, I am forever grateful to The Probate House for doing what needed to be done to protect the livelihood for which he had worked his entire life as a physician in Los Angeles. At 85, he has never been happier and is healthy. As a former estate planning and probate attorney, The Probate House is easily the best. Thank you, Sibylle and Lorenzo.

I spoke to Ms. Brown and her paralegal, Carol, a couple of months ago regarding the conservatorship of my daughter, who is in a longterm care facility. I talked to Carol several times before speaking to Ms. Brown. Based upon my experience with a previous attorney, I was taken by the compassion, understanding and kindness that Carol showed me in those initial encounters. She offered me some ideas for handling a particularly difficult situation before setting up an appointment with Ms. Brown. When the need became more pressing, I finally talked to Christine, who took a practical approach to the predicament in which I found myself and in the end, saved me from a prolonged court fight and significant fees. I can't recommend this firm highly enough. In my experience, there aren't many attorneys who will take on conservatorship matters as they can be fraught with emotion and contentiousness. These women have kind hearts and that is rare in the legal profession, whether due to training or personality. I found in this firm that it is possible to have compassion and still be professional.

Christine Brown and her staff made what we thought would be a very difficult process very easy. She has a wonderful sense of humor which is important in tense situations.
She is very attentive to details and makes sure everything is included in the trust as well as all supportive documents.
My wife and I have already recommended her to a number of our friends.

I hired Beti to represent me in a family dispute that had been brewing and knew would become extremely contentious. To save costs, Beti directed the associate lawyer who later left but then was replaced by another associate attorney, Lorne who was very detail oriented, responsive and capable. I was always advised honestly of what would happen. Beti and Lorne did not escalate any matter in order to pad their bill. Beti is a tough lawyer and not afraid to fight. But she and her associate always gave me the landscape of options and what would happen if I chose one option over the other. And when I did chose an option, they played a strong hand. It was a painfully emotional and protracted ordeal, and in the end, it concluded in a way that I still kept my rights, stopped the one upsmanship with the other side, and my restored my well-being.

I met Beti almost two years ago after my husband helped me search and search and finally narrow down the right attorney to represent my case. I needed to set up my living trust, so my neighbor recommended Mr. Brandlin. He has been Mr. Brandlin’s client for over 10 years and spoke of him with great admiration. Of course, I did my due diligence and researched Mr. Brandlin and I was very impressed with his credentials. His confidence, enthusiasm & professionalism were fantastic! I was a bit nervous that I would have a hard time understanding the lawyer-talk, but he spoke very clearly in plain language which I could understand and he was very thorough.
My trust was created fast & hassle free. Mr. Brandlin also recommended that I establish an LLC to own my investment property in order to limit my personal liability. I agreed, but understanding it was a difficult process. I kept finding all kinds of information on the Internet and I asked Mr. Brandlin lots of questions by email or at meetings. Mr. Brandlin was kind and patient and answered ALL of my concerns/questions with a big smile on his face. Some of my friends set up their LLCs on their own and comparing their setup to mine is almost comical (the knowledge, paperwork, etc.). Mr. Brandlin was hands on every step of the way - everything from helping me to choose the LLC's name to setting me up with a registered agent for service of process (where I will be receiving a lifetime discount thanks to Mr. Brandlin’s membership!).
Now that my trust and LLC have been created, everyone who knows me praises me for the extremely smart choices I’ve made and I proudly take all the credit. But in reality - all the credit should go to Mr. Brandlin! Not only he is intelligent, competent, responsible, straight forward and funny, but most importantly he is a really good human being. And that’s what counts most of all!

Walt helped my husband and I establish a living trust and wills for both of us. He is very knowledgeable; offering suggestions and situations for our consideration so that we had a comprehensive final product. He ensured that we understood the all aspects of the documents. He even called us on a Friday evening to answer our last minute questions so that everything was ready to be signed when we went to his office the following week. Scott Sanders of Sanders & Montalto contacted my law firm in approximately 2007 because he was suing a manufacturer that failed to pay substantial commissions to a sales rep from my state of Pennsylvania. Since the lawsuit was to be filed in Pennsylvania, we acted as local counsel and together with his firm obtained a settlement for our client. I have been a one-man sales rep operation over a long career. I wish that I had known Scott Sanders and his team earlier in my career. Since 2020 they have assisted me in an assortment of matters including when I was not paid commissions owed, and when I was compensated to help a U.S. manufacturer which was going out of business sell its production equipment to a manufacturer in Mexico. Sanders was as well-versed in Buy-Sell agreements with foreign corporations as he was in general sales commission disputes, which he quickly resolved and settled. We have a 100% success rate together in these matters, and the firm has contingent fees available to keep legal costs down. Overall, a win-win situation.

My uncle was dealing with a second Offense DUI and wanted legal representation. So he call the Law Offices of David Chesley for help with his case. He was assigned attorney Rafay Shahid. My uncle doesn't speak spanish so the manager Denise was there to help my uncle with any questions or concerns in spanish. Together they did a fantastic job. I would look elsewhere if you need someone to handle your probate case matters with compassion and understanding. A few years back, I contacted The Probate House to see if they could help with some a la carte Guardianship services after my wife had passed away unexpectedly, leaving me as a single parent of 2 young kids. After a few email exchanges, it was clear The Probate House wasn't interested in helping me unless they received full Guardianship case representation. That's fine, no hard feelings...we're just not a good fit for each other. It was then the principal of the firm inexplicably chose to mock me in an email for asking for a la carte services (rather than full representation). This email was likely meant to be private to her staff but in hitting reply all I was cc'd on it. The exchange was wholely unprofessional and showed a total lack of compassion and empathy during a vunerable time for me; the behavior was particularly surprising because the principal later claimed in a follow-up apology she had just recently lost her own spouse. Probate matters are particularly sensitive in nature, and clients deserve to be working with genuinely supportive and understanding staff in these proceedings but I didn't receive any semblance of that here.

In this review I want to express how glad I am to ask Bruce Mandel and his team to help me navigate the legal system and to handle my paternity case. I considered trying to go through this on my own, but for regular folks like me, it is beneficial to hire an experienced lawyer in family law. Going through a paternity case is lengthy with many forms to fill out that would be incredibly difficult for someone who has not studied law. The terminology used in court and court documents was enough to convince me it was in my best interest to hire a professional.
About the team: Starting with the nice office assistant who answers the phones, she is the first voice you hear when setting up your first consultation and any time you call to ask questions or follow up on your case. She was always very patient and friendly. She would answer my questions if she knew how to answer, but if she didn't have a response for me she would get me in contact with someone who could help me out. Yolanda is the incredibly knowledgeable paralegal that I spoke to the most throughout this process. She was very patient with me when I had questions about the process, my case, follow ups, and what to expect. She was accessible and always made sure to get back to me. Lastly, Bruce Mandel was very honest and straightforward with me starting since the consultation. I let him know my situation and what I was hoping for the outcome of this case. He answered all the questions I had for him as they came up, and I felt comfortable with his advice and the process. I went through my case knowing I was in good hands. Met with this guy for a "Free Consultation" after briefly speaking to him on the phone earlier. Had a bad feeling the moment I entered the premises. Explained why I was there and what I was seeking in regards to my ongoing issue with the "Trustee" of my late father.
He asked me to provide him with a specific document to review, before he would be able to help me, and determine if there was a case to be sought. Unfortunately, I didn't have it wit me so I said I would go home and fax it to him for review. As I was walking out his office, I made a "Big Mistake" and handed him a check (Retainer Fee) for what he charged for his service, $3,500.00 along with a signed retainer agreement. I asked him to only deposit the check if he could help me, since i had to move some funds around so the check would be good. I told him that this was in "GOOD FAITH", so he would know that I wasn't going to waste his time. I heard back from him that evening that he received the document and thanked me. I did not hear back from him for 2 1/2 weeks. He sent me an e-mail on his opinion of the document and what he over all thought. It wasn't what I was hoping for.
Here's my point, I met with him. The same day I faxed him what he needed to see before he could tell me he will take on the case, and that he could definitely help me. I never heard back from him other that an e-mail, stating that he received the Document I faxed to him. He knew that same day, that after reviewing the info I faxed over to him, there was no case, and that he wouldn't be able to help me. Instead he ran to the bank and cached my $3,500.00 "GOOD FAITH CHECK" and disappeared for over 2 1/2 weeks. I guess his reasoning was to hide out and avoid me until he could justify charging me for the "Free Consultation", my numerous brief e-mails trying to reach him, and my phone calls when my patience began to run out! If he had any integrity, he would have just given my check back and honestly said, I CAN'T HELP YOU'!
Now to get my money back, I will have to take him to SMALL CLAIMS COURT'!
So, if you don't want to have the same bad experience I had, be more careful in selecting an attorney from the get go, one that you feel comfortable with.
Always go with your 1st impression! Don't make the same mistake I did.

Mr. Borden I will admit in court he is a very good attorney. But i would not recommend him. I made him my administrator to my estate and he wasn't faithful to his duties. He did us very wrong. At thr end he sided with the respondent.

I wanted to take a moment to write a VERY positive review about my experience with Mr. Borden and his legal team. There really are not enough words to explain how thoughtful, confident and professional Mr. Borden’s legal demeanor is and how he guided my family and I through a very difficult time.
My family and I were undergoing a very messy will settlement. We had hit an impasse in which one member of the family had determined they were owed the entirety of the will and had proceeded to have it changed after the passing of one of the will’s signing members. The remaining family, myself included, believed we were helpless and without any recourse. Luckily, we were put into contact with Mr. Borden, who immediately read and clearly explained the wording of the will, our rights, and recommendations on how to proceed. He offered immediate relief, and a much-needed positive, yet practical, outlook on the case. He guided us with patience, calm, and a very professional demeanor, writing very strong, and well-thought out letters to the opposing lawyer. Mr. Borden stayed focused to the important points of the case, and never got distracted by personal rhetoric being thrown by the other side. We felt constantly supported, and appreciated the skill in which he navigated our case.
You can easily feel overwhelmed and without proper knowledge when you enter into a legal arena on personal matters. After my fathers recent visit with Peter Keon to update his Will/Trust my father reports that Mr. Peter A. Keon treated him very unprofessionally and condescending. My father even scheduled an interpreter for their meeting and Mr. Keon kept insisting that my father should, “speak English” repetitively. Mr. Keon even made and comment to my father “you’re crazy” regarding something he didn’t agree with.
The interpreter was passive as she wasn’t equipped to translate correctly or even advocate for my father. My father felt miss represented throughout the entire meeting as Mr. Keons unprofessional demeanor resulted in Mr. Keon walking up out his seat to handle other matters as the translator was interrupting what my father was stating.
Mr. Keon’s was not only passive aggressive with certain statements and comments towards my father in the meeting but he was also very discriminating that my farther felt the aggression and had to walk out the meeting.
This company has been overall extremely disappointing and unprofessional. My father mentioned that it took several weeks to get this meeting scheduled with this law firm. To get treated this way is truly insensitive toward their clients. Especially ones who pay for their service.
We Do Not recommend this company to other and if you’re looking to get involved Stay Away especially if you are a Latino. The company is Not worth your time and especially not your money. My father no longer wants to be represent by this law firm and will take his assets elsewhere.
