I feel that the Law Firm of C. Justin Brown went above and beyond in their representation of me. The Brown Law Firm were appointed by the court to represent me in a federal compassionate release motion. The motion was prepared by Lily Romero, and granted, under the condition I spend 4 months on home confinement. I spent 16 years, 7 months, 2 weeks, and 10 hours in federal custody awaiting that day. And Lily continued to represent me even after release by filing motions for me to attend family holiday events, and now filing a motion for me to be released from home confinement early. She also filed a motion for the courts to waive the fees associated with my home confinement, which was granted. All of these motions, after my release, were filed without charge. First off let me say if you are looking for an attorney you have found him!
I’ve hired many attorneys in Maryland of the years and NOT ONE can compare to Ian Valkenet. He is honest, straight forward, and the most educated attorney in his field we’ve ever spoken to. Which was over a dozen for this particular case. Most of them even told my husband and I that there was nothing we could do that we were in the wrong. Deep down we knew that couldn’t possible be true. After speaking with Ian it was confirmed. There was something we could do. A lot actually and Ian was knocking them out like Muhammad Ali in the ring.
You don’t get that a lot anymore with attorneys. They tell you things and don’t follow through . Not Ian! If he says he’s doing something it’s done. This man knew our rights and was honest with us. We have been in a lawsuit since Feb 2023. From the day we met Ian for a consultation we knew that this man was who we needed. He knew the law in every aspect you can imagine. It was incredible we were actually looking forward to seeing him in trial. For pure satisfaction of seeing the defendants faces. 😂 This man won without having a trial which saved us money but it would’ve been epic to watch him in this case. If you hire him and get to see him in that courtroom it will be pure satisfaction. Even in our case for motions to dismiss he was incredible. When he speaks you listen he makes you feel safe like you can really sit back and not stress because you know he is protecting you. Because let’s face it anything that involves going to court can be stressful. Everything he told us happened without hesitation. His phone calls were prompt always on time, didn’t send someone else from his office to court. We’ve had that happen on many occasions with other firms. He understands the importance of his clients needs and wants. Breaks everything down for you and ensures you understand step by step. We really appreciated that too. This man isn’t just in law for a paycheck he goes above and beyond for his clients. He is worth every dollar! We would hire him over and over again. Our only regret is that we didn’t find him a year sooner. The end result of our lawsuit was we won everything we asked for and then some. Ian we cannot thank you enough you will alway be on our speed dial. We will refer you over and over again because you deserve it!
When I tell you there was nights I cried over this case before hiring Ian Valkenet I’m not exaggerating. My husband and I felt so helpless in this matter. After many phone calls with attorneys. extremely rude and condescending toward potential clients, cannot provide referrals. want to provide some clarification since the owner was bothered enough to reply. was looking for a firm to help under tenants rights this firm is listed under the second search result. contacted them and was met with a supposed arrogant lawyer who was extremely rude. have found a much friendlier firm since. i dont know what services this firm can offer definetly not customer service atleast.

we had initial disagreement with Mr. Patel's office regarding the scheduling. Mr. Patel personally took the matter in hand, and now we just finished the consultation. If I have any immigration need or case to be filed future, it will be with Mr. Patel. I did lot of internet research about my immigration case and there were so many elements that were confusing, but Mr. Patel has reasonable explanation for how it works. A Miracle in Baltimore City: Our Journey to the Right Educational Support
Our story began in 2021 when we relocated from New Mexico to Baltimore City during the height of the pandemic. A federal indictment should be soon for this office for the amount of money stolen from their clients. This office represented my wife grandfather personal injury and wrongful death case. Peter was hired in December 1996, a year after opening this firm. My wife father died from asbestos lung cancer in 2003. Sadly, the estate only saw 100k over the past 20 year and her grandfather never received the settlement money neither did she or her grandmother who are both named in his Will. To this day, this office is sending small checks to the estate but have claimed over 40 million of dollars from the companies trust funds in relations to the injuries and deaths of their clients.

Do not call this company for your personal injury lawyer. Today marks a year that I have my injury to my leg and it still has not been resolved. I have not been in physical rehab in 7 months. They do not have any lawyers in the area. They sent me to two different law firms because they did not have a lawyer. The law firm that I am with is so trifling. I have not her back from the lawyer or his assistant but once in a year I have been calling and sending text messages every month. I meant to say sending emails. This is horrible. This is trifling. I have no idea what's going on and it's been a year and I want this over and done with. If I am in this boat. I do not want anybody else to get in the same boat that I am with this lawyer company. They do not care about your needs and care about you. They just want to take your money and not give you anything
