I became acquainted with Robert Laureano around 2006 when I would referred to him by a friend to represent me in a custody case. Robert worked diligently on my case to prevent my daughter's mother from violating my paternal rights and relocating with my child without my approval. Due to his hard work, we prevailed in the trial. I also retained Robert for my child support hearings where he negotiated directly with my daughter's mother and saved me from the major "bite" that she was intending on putting on me. I am so thankful to him for that. Just recently, I have just had a felony assault charge dismissed. During the 18 months of back and forth court traveling, Robert always kept me well informed and never let me guess about where I stood in terms of his strategies to have the charges dismissed entirely. My experience has been horrible...they promised to defend me and not to worry, to leave everything in their hands...only that I have to pay them and they took care of everything. After a couple of months they called me to tell me that they lost the case, but how were they supposed to defend me if I didn't even accept the evidence they had. Don't believe the star or the comments, this lawyer doesn't do his job, he just wants your money and in the end he will tell you to pay the fee.

Mr Ramirez was excellent in his initial consultation, but after that he ignored our calls and texts for 5 days. Told us we should not sign the contract but told our broker and REO we should, and then we never heard from him again. Of course, the property owners did not bother to wait for us as we tried to sort out this issue with Mr Ramirez so we missed out on a great deal and had to scramble to find a different lawyer.

Nelson is probably the worst lawyer you could possibly hire. I started this divorce/custody process over two years ago. This guy is unresponsive and doesn’t get anything done on time. I’ve been told from the opposing party on numerous occasions that Nelson was either late or didn’t show for court dates. Half the time when I find something out it from the other party. My last court hearing was earlier this month and Nelson was trying to have me sign stuff hours before the court hearing. My next court hearing is next month and now his email and phone are not working. Save your money and DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS GUY.

Hired him for a divorce in 2021, it’s 2024. Months turned into Years of trying to call, email, and request my money back. I’ve never experienced this kind of behavior/treatment from an attorney, you hire lawyers when you need help and trust they’ll do their job. I live in another state as well so it’s quite impossible to know what my next steps to circumvent finalizing my divorce another way is. Nelson promised to take care of me. I’ll be totally honest with you guys I’ve never met a lawyer, that actually fought for his client as if it was his family member, or better yet as if he was fighting for his own freedom . This man is nothing short of amazing at his job & he definitely knows the law inside out . I wouldent recommend putting my money in anyone’s hands if it’s not Nelson de La Cruz . Not to mention he’s affordable & willing to work with you . At the time I first retained him I was incarcerated in federal jail on charges of racketeering conspiracy & extortion conspiracy held without bond . Within 30 days of Nelson bein my lawyer he was able to secure me a bail & get me back home to my family . Throughout the duration of the case Nelson’s communication with both me and my loved ones was always priority and we loved that about him . His knowledge and his delivery with what he brings to the table as an attorney makes him that much more valuable to you as his client & of course to your case furthermore, securing the BEST possible outcome . In conclusion with my criminal history bein very extensive & other factors ( such as evidence against me ) I did ultimately decide to pled guilty. But the fight did not stop there with Nelson . Through motions filed & countless hearings he was able to secure me a beyond favorable plea deal . I was facing a maximum of 40 years in prison, I ended up with a 2 year prison sentence & NO restitution ! I really can’t stop thanking Nelson De La Cruz I strongly recommend him to anyone fighting a criminal case .

His office screwed up our closing. He forgot to order stock and lease until the last minute buyers tried to get of deal almost cost us a lot of money. He also never called or sent status updates. It was horrible transaction. Of all the attorneys I have worked with he was the worst.
