I was in a car accident and decided to seek help from William Mattar Law Offices because I always saw their commercials as a kid and I remembered the jingle, but my experience was extremely disappointing. They claimed they reached out to me multiple times through phone and email, but I never received a single message or call. It felt like they used this excuse to avoid taking my case instead of being honest about it. If they didn’t want to handle my case, they should’ve just told me to my face.
I sent letters, called repeatedly, and tried to follow up, but they kept pretending they would call me back—yet no one ever did. Ultimately, I had to handle my dispute on my own. Ironically, I ended up settling for much more money than I believe they could have ever achieved. It’s clear they only want big cases and don’t take smaller cases seriously.
On top of that, their staff was rude and unprofessional. The lawyer’s representative I spoke to often had an attitude and never made me feel valued or respected. The only positive thing about my experience was when I first went into the office—they made me feel welcome initially, but everything went downhill after that.
If you’re dealing with a case, I’d recommend fighting on your own or going to a firm like The Barnes Firm, where they might treat you with the respect and seriousness you deserve. William Mattar’s office did not live up to their reputation, and I won’t be going back.

My initial experience with the firm was great! They made me feel heard and taken care of. After a while I heard less and less until I started to reach out to them. It took several attempts to get someone to return my call only to be given an incorrect update on my case. Several times over the last year I have been given the update of “just waiting on a call back from the adjuster”
In the beginning I was promised constant updates throughout my case, now I’m told that if there is no new news don’t expect a call.

I have been with Sawer & Sackel for 3 separate workers comp claims and have been very unsatisfied until recently. Up until Holly took ownership in my cases I was left wondering what was going on. I was the one that had to initiate any and all inquiries into correspondences from the insurance carrier. And I rarely spoke with a lawyer and it was Never the same individual. Since working with Holly things have change my thinking entirely. She has taken ownership in my case and has gone above and beyond my expectations (or at least what my expectations of a law firm should be) and have reaffirmed my choice in a workers compensation law firm. I called Lawyer E and he answered every question I had. Was easy to talk to and understanding of my situation. I was pulled over for turning on red light and did not see the sign no right on red. North Tonawanda cop pulled me over and smelled alcohol and said I was drunk only after drinking 4 beers in 2 hrs he gave me 2 tickets and dwi charge. being from Canada I was not familiar with this area in Niagara Falls .I was facing a huge fine and points off which they report in Canada.I spoke to several lawyers and Michael was very well spoken confident and

Brian is the man!! It took almost a year to get my case to the finish line but Brian was available to talk anytime I needed, and he did an amazing job of keeping me positive when things seemed rather grim. I never felt like a number and I always felt like he was putting 100% into my case. At the very end ,the insurance company offered me 8K, but within a week he had it up to 12k. I literally cannot find one negative thing to say about the representation I received from Brian. If I ever hit by another driver again or if I ever know somebody that's been hit I will recommend. I was referred to Dara by my real estate agent after I put in an offer on a home near Elmwood Village. The offer was accepted, and, as a first time home buyer, I really appreciated the fact that Dara took her time to explain the entire process to me.
Dara was not only responded to our email right away, but accommodated my phone calls and text messages as well. I'm moving to Western NY from the west coast, and she respected and was patient with me -- due to the time difference.
I found Dara's rates to be competitive and fair, but most importantly clear. There were no hidden fees or unexpected rates added in last minute. The amount she quoted me at the beginning was the amount I paid at the end.
If I purchase another home in the area, I will certainly call Dara again, and I certainly recommend her to anyone with real estate needs.
