My wife and I needed a comprehensive estate plan. We had a rudimentary outline of a plan, but no idea of how to put it together. We’ve known Mr. Horan for a number of years and knew that he had expertise in the area.
We arranged a meeting and discussed our ideas and intentions. What followedwas a draft of a plan. After a couple more meetings, discussions, and revisions, a plan that worked for us crystalized. There was a Trust. We were guided in placing our assets into that Trust (e.g. home, bank and stock accounts, etc). Last Will and Testaments were signed. Durable powers of attorney were executed so we could manage each other’s property and personal affairs should it become necessary, as well as Advance Health Care Directives. We ended up with a comprehensive plan and were very pleased with the result.

Great job. Ash and his team are great. The timing was a bit off, meaning it took a little longer than expected. But Ash was pretty spot on about what he could get.
He also will answer his phone!! I shopped around for several attorneys, and he was the ONLY one who picked up and was willing to have a 5 min conversation with me. The 5 min conversation actually extended into 30 min. He was very informative of the process, options, and steps that needed to be taken and what the bottom line was gonna look like in the end.

Having to realize that I was a victim of domestic violence and my children victims of child abuse, was not an easy pill to swallow, but it was the truth. Robert spend countless hours with me, educating me about this road of restraining orders, child support, child custody and divorce that I was about to enter into. Robert is a straight shooter and never beat around the bush. He was genuinely concerned about the safety and well being of my children and myself. He’s an honest man and did not believe in spending unnecessary dollars where they weren’t going to matter. I was kept well informed by him and his paralegal every step of the way.

Robert Farzad and amazing staff were a vibrant light at the end of what I thought was going to be a dark, rough road. Having to realize that I was a victim of domestic violence and my children victims of child abuse, was not an easy pill to swallow, but it was the truth. Robert spend countless hours with me, educating me about this road of restraining orders, child support, child custody and divorce that I was about to enter into. I had an extremely disappointing experience with Morley and Upton. Their communication was virtually nonexistent, and they often wouldn't respond for months on end. Even after my medical treatment was completed a year ago, my case is still open with no clear resolution in sight. I strongly advise looking elsewhere for legal representation.

I hired Mark Ross to help me with a corrupt trustee who we eventually were able to get rid of despite her spending nearly all trust assets defending herself using the most expensive law firm in Orange County. Throughout the 5 years of struggle, Mark's billings were clear and reasonable. He did an excellent job of keeping me informed of everything that was happening, was open and considerate to my input, and responsive to my concerns. Mark kept up with all critical dates and timelines despite having several other cases. Mark's judgment was good in that he advised when to fight and when to accept and settle. His focus was on my welfare, not just generating fee income. We didn't win every battle, but we won the war.

Atty Ross negotiated a very favorable settlement with opposing counsel on a complicated Trust/Probate matter worth hundreds of thousands of dollars to me.
