I used Jeffery for a brotherly Real Estate dispute, and not knowing him went strictly by his online reviews. A very attentive individual, and responsive. I had a difficult contract situation and had been told by other lawyers that I was pretty much stuck and just had to wait it out. Van Ness was the plaintiff's attorney for a transaction I was helping the homeowners on. Even though they were on the plaintiff's side they did everything they could to help resolve the homeowners situation and remained professional and courteous the entire time while working hard to get their client what they rightfully deserved. I hired this law firm in 2016 and they changed many lawyers during my foreclosure case. The first lawyer left the firm soon after I hired her and was ilegally charging me before any paperwork was submiited to me from the bank. At the end the new attorney told me she didnt kno how to deal with the case and advised me to settle. I didnt settle and the bank foreclosed on me. I remember filing a complaint with her supervisor but nothing never happened. Its 2023 and I am still suffering from loosing my home.

The Senior Closer we worked with was skilled at handling a difficult closing. She worked diligently to keep us informed every step of the way and helped me with an uneducated, difficult buyer situation. Fees were very reasonable, communication was excellent. The Senior Closer who handled our case was slow to get her work done and helped cause a several day delay in closing. Then with less than 24 hours until closing I was shown the fees for the first time. They wanted to charge me $1000 as the buyer, which is typically no more than $550 through other firms. My attempt to reach Mr. Landau was unsucessfull, so I assume he has enough clients. Go somehwere else. I do not recommend this lawyer or his services.

Peter Ticktin and his stellar Ticktin team of legal eagles saved my 20-year Palm Beach home (homestead) from foreclosure in TWO separate foreclosure court proceedings, from 2009-2017! AND they are successfully pursuing an award of fees against bank giant Bank of America. Yes, they beat BofA on my behalf, regarding my mortgage foreclosure case. They are miracles workers, to say the least. I am a LONGTERM client!
I know Peter Ticktin to be excellent, brilliant and shrewd attorney of honor, integrity and character. He can hold his own, and in fact prevail, against any opposition counsel or law firm, including “Big Gun” names and “white-shoe” firms. Unlike some attorneys, Peter Ticktin and his firm do NOT get sandbagged in any courtroom situation. They are always thinking clear and cleverly, and ahead of the curve, outsmarting their adversaries.
Am pleased to provide the highest recommendation. He is a fighter for his clients, both with legal research/strategy and courtroom litigation, as are his associate attorneys. Many “AV-rated” are scholarly with much book knowledge but do not fight hard for their clients. The best lawyers have a bit of grit and street-fighter instincts in them.
