The absolute worst attorney in Texas. I thought he was working for me, but it ended up. He was working for my ex. He didn’t stand up and fight for anything that I asked for. He and the mediator was best friends. Maybe they were having an affair. Most of the time that the mediator was in my room I could barely get a word in due to the lawyer I paid well over 5k and the mediator reminiscing on old times.
I wanted to get 30 days for the summer, which is a standard for fathers to have in most cases their kids in the summertime with this sorry excuse for an attorney I only get 10 days. After the lunch break I catch the mediator and both lawyers talking to each other like they’re best buddies. Mediation ran over due to the mediator being in the other room for 85% of the day and he wants to try and charge me extra and I told him this is not my fault. You’re the attorney you are supposed to make sure that the mediator is supposed to be on my side for a certain amount of time and I did not receive an equal amount of time to fight my own case because this sorry attorney didn’t fight on my behalf. He was complaining to me about getting home to his wife because his wife thinks he’s cheating on her when he comes home late.
I told this guy my children were in danger and they should be with me and not their mother. He didn’t care. He lies about everything. His staff lies about everything as well to cover up for him. On several occasions just to talk to his staff I would have to stake out the office. After he got paid I could never catch him at the office anymore, either he wasn’t there or his staff would tell me he would call once his out of a meeting or court but I never received a call from him. This guy is the biggest fraud and my next report will be to the Texas Board.
If you’re thinking about using this guy as a divorce attorney take my advice and find another attorney. He works with a lot of railroaders, take it from me he’s going to cost you a lot more in the long run. Find someone else.

Unfortunately, wasn't helpful (+ she kept yawning during our intake and acknowledged doing so twice) and never got back to me until I followed up. They sent their consult email to my employer address versus personal (even after emailing them before and after consult with my personal email address!). There was an autofill error apparently. Commonsense stuff which could've easily been avoided by paying attention versus making excuses and just apologizing. Makes me think they don’t care about the details and my specific situation and not trustworthy. No matter if it was a mistake, acknowledge it, and do the right thing. Unprofessional! I have been in touch with a GREAT lawyer in TX if anyone needs a recommendation.

He asked us questions, confirmed what we wanted, clarified wording, and advised us on legal choices. He listened well, and spoke clearly. I had issues with Texas Attorney General's Office. Sam helped me out of a sticky situation. He took time to explain to me in a non-lawyer language so that I could really understand the process. Another experience with another attorney spoke in legalese. Sometimes lawyers forget that clients are everyday people. I found Sam very easy to communicate, and I never felt that my intelligence was insulted. I was please with the out come of my hearing. Hopefully, I will never need another lawyer, but if I do; Sam is my guy.

Had a consult and he was worthless to us. $75.00 down the drain, as well
as our time. We knew more than he did about our issue. He was googling tenants rights as we were sitting there.... we already did that and he should know this information and not need to look on the internet if he is an attorney. He didn’t seem to care about our issues, he just seemed to want to get his consult fee. He would tell us useless facts... take up our time we paid for when these comments were unrelated to Our case. He deflected our questions and didn’t answer directly. Did he not not know the answer or just not care? We don't know but we didn’t get answers. Very discouraging, left uneasy and extremely disappointed. The only thing he was good at was letting us know our time was up. Simply worthless for us, time and money we can’t back.
