I have known Heather for close to 20-years. Without hesitation Heather is one of the most honest people I have ever known. When it comes to the practice of law Heather is unequivocally at the top of my list of attorney’s to consult and hire.
I have hired Heather twice. The first time was in 2005 when I needed an experienced matrimonial attorney. The second time was in in 2015 when I needed a real estate lawyer that knew every nook and cranny of the home selling process. Both times I retained Heather at the moment that I knew I would need an expert to guide me through two of the more difficult aspects of life that one sometimes has to contend with legally. As it related to my real estate transaction, Heather was there for me from before the house was listed with a Real Estate Broker to the afternoon when I signed the last document of the sale. Throughout the process Heather made sure that I understood how the home selling process would take place (it was my first time selling a home) and what the legal aspects would entail.
I have also consulted Heather over the years on several legal questions including what constituted an emergency when I needed to have a Power-of-Attorney drawn up extremely quickly. Heather drove to where I was with the papers in hand to be sure that the legal issues I was facing could be dealt with as smoothly as possible and within the legal boundaries needed.

I contacted Neal's office in 2014 to discuss concerns over my fathers estate. Made an appointment with Neal for a free consultation and decided after that meeting to retain Neal as my attorney. Took awhile to resolve my fathers estate which had nothing to do with Neal. Neal is very kind hearted and very supportive. Neal was always in touch with me as things developed. I never felt uninformed or lacking information. I couldn't ask for more from an attorney. I highly recommend Neal.

My boyfriend and I both used Rich years ago for criminal charges when he was working at a previous firm. We were truly blessed that we had Rich to work our cases. I hired Rich Toscani to handle my fiancé’s case, who happened to have charged in two separate counties. He knew that I was paying for this on my own as my fiancé wasn’t working and was extremely sympathetic to the situation. Mr. Toscani is very professional and knowledgeable, I highly reccomend him to all of my close ones in need of an attorney. I had a very difficult situation with a tenant in one of my properties. Had a lawyer who cam highly recommended but know very little regarding this situation. After failing to assist me properly I was introduced to Leslie Sultan. After 1 hour with her I realized that she had great knowledge and that coupled with street smarts convinced me to hire her. She solved my problem in a relative space of time and I appreciated her billing structure as it was clear concise and reasonable given the circumstances. I should have written this review months ago, when he successfully helped me fight what I thought was an unfair ticket from the Village of Freeport. The village prosecutor got my hackles up when he told me that I shouldn't even bother to fight the ticket because I would be found guilty. That riled me because it smacked of a rigged system. What was the so-called infraction? One of my tires was a tad across the white line in a village parking lot. I wasn't aware of it because I was rushing to put money in a meter and catch a train. And I didn't even know that was a violation. So I used my Hyatt legal benefit to get a lawyer, and after many calls I reached Mr. Jew. He was professional and obviously very effective. On the morning I was supposed to go to yet another hearing for the ticket, he called to tell me that I didn't have to appear because the violation was dropped. Great lawyer and one who knows how to treat people. Rare combination.
