Consumers beware.this guy charged me $700.00 per hour without telling me upfront which I found to be ridiculous for a business civil matter I am in the process of trying to recoup money that was taken from me when I questioned him about his rate he said that he didn’t give a damn what I thought hope this review changes his pocket and teaches him that you can’t get through life being dishonest with that being said RUN!!! Spoken with several attorneys and they said I shouldn’t have been charged no more than a thousand dollars this guy charged me almost 8,000.00 and did nothing but get a motion of default set aside with paper work that I provided Ray Charles could have seen that I was overcharged and he was blind

Patterson Harkavy LLP claims to handle employment matters for employees, but my experience was completely the opposite. They turned me away without even bothering to do an intake to review my claim. When I tried to follow up by phone, no one ever answered. If you're dealing with legal issues, I wouldn't recommend reaching out to them—they're unresponsive, and it's clear that employment matters are not their priority. Very disappointing.

Attorney Richardson is frank, direct and goes straight to business. Something that I respect is just that. When his words to me is “What do you want to do?” That was my first sign to me he means business. Here I was thinking I’m going to meet his paralegal. Absolutely was not the case. I found myself in a room sitting in front of the attorney himself. After offering us coffee (my wife and I) the attorney went right into my case. He listens, processes all that you tell him about your case and then executes what is best for you. When it comes to Mr. Causey I will go above and beyond to let the world know that he is by far the ABSOLUTE BEST ATTORNEY you could ask for!! This law firm is inhumane, heartless and deplorable. I called them a week and a half ago. The answering service says they will call back in 48 hours. No one responded. I called back to see if I could get 3 more days until I was paid to clear a balance because I HAD TO HELP BURY MY GRANDDAUGHTER and it took all of my money previous to this date ($5000 contribution ). I had mailed them payments which they did receive. I was told no. I could have provided proof if asked. Death comes to all of us at some point or another; I guess they are exempt. I feel my reason was valid for a little grace; I only asked for 3 days. Non the less I hope they never experience the loss I did.
I will add that just within an hour of my first phone call the above post I received a phone call from the firm. I spoke with a young lady name C.J. She went over my account with me. She was professional, and very empathetic. In summary positive results!! Thank you so much for representing the firm in a more positive light. C.J definitely earned them 5 stars.

John and his team have a can do attitude that is very important in Real Estate. John can discuss the issues on a 1st time home buyer level as well as teach a class to other attorneys on the specific legal changes of our time. The work is flawless, I cant count how many closings we have done with John and his team... and I'm a numbers guy! As a lender in a fast paced real estate environment, it is important to have a great working relationship with an attorney - we have that with John, and are blessed to continue the relationship.
John has also been able to help my family with our wills and estate planning - this was handled efficiently and thoroughly with great care and expertise. It's never easy to discuss these types of things, but John was able to break it down in ways that was easy for my wife and I to set our family up if something tragic were to happen.
