There is no question how difficult and heavily emotional the divorce already is for the person. Having an honest, direct, accessible lawyer who is actually very good and knowledgeable at what he does while being caring is VERY important. Also he is very quick, which trust me is really important in the process. I definitely recommend Pouya to anyone going through this difficult phase of their lives, so they don’t have an extra worry on top of all other heavy changes happening in their lives.

I briefly interviewed with Atty Lazo. I read another party review stating how patient he was . He was not with me, very, very short with me, even when I asked in advanced whether he handled FTCA federal government employer/employment administrative claims. He said yes. I briefly discussed several torts and he stated that the firm didn't take this type of claim. Prior he asked if I won a monetary judgment in (1) of (3) settlements agreements. If he doesn't know about me or the circumstances why is he asking if I won monetary award. What difference does that make when the harassment/wrongful death/retaliation/sexual assault/threats by police/circulation and publication of defamatory false claims resulting in false imprisonment etc... for (5) years ongoing, incidents are still occurring hence the reason for the contact. Collecting owed monetary awarded was not the purpose of my contact, wasting my time. Not good.

Working with Bruce made the process so seamless. I am a psychotherapist, and was assigned Calkins by my insurance company to help with a case where a client's parent was harassingly subpoenaing me for irrelevant cases, for years. Kenneth Chung is an outstanding attorney and I would highly recommend him. The first time I spoke to Kenneth Chung was over the phone. I was greeted with the utmost courtesy, care, and attention. He was very patient as he listened to me, asking clarifying questions to really understand my problem. He showed interest in my case and spent almost an hour with me on the phone. I've spoken to a couple attorneys before him and they wouldn't give me the time of day. Kenneth is the opposite! I can tell right away he was not about money. He genuinely wanted to help me and guided me through how the case and process would go if we pursued litigation. He was extremely knowledgeable about the law and made me feel so comfortable within the first 15 minutes of talking to him. Because of this, I hired Kenneth to help me with my case.
I came into his office and sat with him for over an hour as we discussed my case in more detail. Kenneth actively took notes. Throughout the case, Kenneth was highly responsive, answering emails almost immediately. Mr. Chung is one of the finest attorneys you will find. I was in a position to lose hundreds of thousands of dollars. I had talked to three other attorneys before talking with Mr. Chung. One of the other attorneys told me I could win my case, however, I was in a defensive position. Mr. Chung and I had a very well paced conversation about my case. At one point during our talk he felt I needed a more elaborate explanation of a pertinent point he was explaining to me. He politely paused our progress in the talk, and explained in more detail his concern. As it turns I could pursue my case from a positive position rather than defensive. What a huge thing for me! He knows what the opposition will be using against you and can consult you as to the correct approach in your concern.
