Recently, actually about three years ago I had a lawsuit brought against me. I didn't know who to turn to. Know one I actually knew, even attorney friends from my church could give me any clear direction. At this point, I prayed that God would help me. This was a potential life-changing event in my life. I then received a letter in the mail from Jimerson & Cobb Law Firm. I felt this letter was a gateway to the answer I was seeking. I then retained Jimerson & Cobb to represent me in this matter. Knowing my time to responding to this lawsuit was nearing its deadline to respond, they went right to work. They responded right away. Throughout my case, I felt the assurance of a seasoned, professional, family atmosphere from the entire firm. I was represented by Hans Wahl who is a very knowledgable professional attorney. He felt my burden and carried it throughout the case. Finally our day came, he as always he was well prepared to take my case to trial. But, before our trial, is mediation (court ordered in all cases), and much to my dismay, while in mediation, he mediated my case with the opposing party who reluctantly gave in to Mr. Hans demands after not giving in to the pressure from their demands. It was a classic case of David vs. Goliath. I was very pleased with the results that Mr. Hans Wahl produced for me. I own a building contracting company. We had completely built a job for a client without a deposit and at the end tried to collect all money for service rendered. The client then made up his own contract in addition to the one he had already signed with us and asked us to sign his new contract. It included extra items not included the original contract doubling our cost of the job, but for no additional pay. After trying several times to come to an agreement with the client we soon realized that our voice was falling on deaf ears. Once we refused to sign his agreement that he made himself, he banished us from the property and told us he would do it himself, that we weren't going to be compensated a dime, and were never allowed back. I've never been put in a situation like this in the past 7 years of owning my business or the 10 years of experiences in the building industry. Upon seeking legal advice, I was referred to Kevin through another associate and told him the story. Kevin went to bat for us. We went to trial and won. He was forced to pay us all the services rendered. Kevin and his team did an amazing job of presenting the case. I couldn't have asked for anything more. He's honest, hard working, and trustworthy. I can't say enough good things about him. You'll be glad you hired him. I guarantee it!

Douglas Milne took over a lawsuit mess that had been dragging on for years with no end in sight. I had paid about $25,000 to two previous lawyers who did nothing helpful in 2.5 years. Mr. Milne took over and within 3 months had the lawsuit against my company retracted with no settlement expenses. He managed to do in 3 months what the 2 previous lawyers were unable to do in 2.5 years for over $25,000. Although his services were worth much more than the $25,000 I had paid the other two, he only charged me $3500! Great lawyer! Very honest! I hired Attorney Chafin to work on a deed of a property I bought one and a half years ago and which was not properly titled. Unbelievably this property was never titled correctly ever since the beginning. The legal description was wrong , according to the records department of Duval County . It was really scary when I found out that the property I was buying was only a piece of land that was split from the property that I thought I was buying with the house on it. It took me several months to have it all settled out with the help of the property records department and , of course , Attorney Chafin. Attorney Chafin was very thorough the whole time he was working on my case. He had to dig through the original title of two generations ago to finally get the correct legal description of the property.

I love this man he saved my life!!!!!! I was facing 30 years for a burglary I honestly did not commit.They threw me in repeat offenders court with judge cooper,30 years just for the burglary than an additional 15 because supposedly i hadn't been out of prison long enough.Mr. Stanford jumped right in at a very reasonable rate in fact nobody in the city would touch me for that amount.He stood firm filed the best "motion to dismiss" I've ever seen.I still have the copy he gave to me in a frame!!1The next court date they dropped the case in its entirety.I wouldn't be writing this if it wasn't for you Doug..Go bull dogs..If you want a hard working attorney hes the real deal..love you Doug thanks for getting my life back..Eddie
