I cannot more strongly recommend Edelman & Thompson (specifically Mr. Ron Edelman himself)! I initially had submitted an online contact form on the E&T website when my husband was injured in a workplace accident. Within 20 minutes of submitting the contact request (while we were still in the ER), I was speaking on the phone with Ron. His quickness to connect initially was hugely appreciated as we were so lost and scared.
During the initial consultation, Ron answered every single one of our questions with helpful detail and was also compassionate to our concerns and worries. Ron's experience in the work injury realm and specifically with my husband's (now former) employer truly stood out to us throughout the entire process. Ron was quick to respond if we had questions, even willfully accepting and scheduling calls during the evenings and on weekends! These experiences and interactions were a true NIGHT AND DAY difference compared to a previous workers comp claim my husband had a few years ago.
I’m hopeful that we never need an injury attorney again, but if we do then Ron will be our first and only call. I again cannot more strongly recommend E&T if you are ever in need of an injury attorney.

CARTER LAW IS THE ONLY CALL YOU NEED TO MAKE! The attorneys and staff at Carter Law are all absolutely amazing! I must have contacted at least a dozen law offices before I found there's. I'm not exaggerating when I say that they were the first ones to make me feel like I was more than just a potential paycheck and they were the ONLY ones who did! I was in a bind on how to resolve a speeding ticket since Kansas City doesn't allow traffic school to relieve points on your record. The only options are to either plead guilty and pay the fine while accepting points or hire an attorney to amend the citation. Stacy Porto responded to my emails within the hour and explained the costs for getting the citation amended to a non-moving violation. She had it taken care of in less than two weeks over the holidays. I would use her again but hopefully it won't come to that.

This place is scandalous. I called to merely get information. I was transferred to a female lawyer who told me to tell her about my case. She didn’t even let me finish before she cut me off to say they won’t take the case. She also confirmed they handle little to no malpractice cases so I asked why they appear at the top when searching malpractice lawyers. I told her, if you don’t handle malpractice then that is misrepresentation of services. She really got upset and hung up on me for merely making a comment.
She also confirmed they only take cases where they KNOW a settlement is coming.
I’m more concerned with the level of disrespect from this office. Even their receptionist was ignorant. What kind of law office is rude to people?
Lawyers are NOT allowed to misrepresent their services or mislead people in any way. Those google results are more than misleading, it says ‘we handle these type of cases’ when I’m reality they do not. As a software developer myself I know this was done on purpose. I know exactly what is needed to appear in google search results. They would not appear in malpractice results if they did not put it in their title or headers on their pages. They clearly have malpractice somewhere with in their website either in a title element or headers. Google literally scrapes the pages for such data lol.

Carl Mueller was excellent. He stood up to the work comp insurance and got both surgeries I needed. I was always able to contact him with questions or problems that had arisen any time during the 2 years. He fought and and I received the monetary damages I deserved. I cannot express how amazing of a lawyer Lance is! We came to Lance with an unbelievable issue battling Camping World. We had spent over 10 months fighting camping world on damages/repairs to our camper along with not having a correct title. We thought we would never get anything resolved because of a release we had unknowingly signed from camping world. Lance talked with us for over an hour about our situation. We sent him over 30 emails that were back and forth from camping world about our issues. He immediately went to work. Within a couple weeks he had camping world correcting the title with Missouri DMV. Within a month we received our title in the mail and went to get our camper licensed. When I called to tell Lance the good news and to thank him along with making sure we didn’t owe him any money since we had only paid him his initial fee, he told us since it was resolved he actually had a check to send us. I have an enormous amount of respect and appreciation to this man. The level of professionalism from him along with everything he did for us that cost us less than $500 is unheard of in my opinion from a lawyer.

I sent an inquiry request and instead of Greg ignoring, being dismissive or condescending as I've experienced with many people in this profession, he listened and communicated with detail as to make me feel as if I was his only client (not the case).
