I have contacted John Bowles several times for assistance with situations resulting from car wrecks, car towing and landlord tenant issues. Each and every time John promptly returned my phone calls and helped me as best he could. If he was unable to assist me he pointed me in the direction of a lawyer he trusted who would be able to help me. I trust John completely with any law issue and highly recommend him as an attorney.

JR has helped walk us through sale of our residential property to a developer without the usual aid of a real estate agent. He has been patient at explaining terms and standard practices, prompt at reviewing materials and providing counsel, and very transparent about when he's available to talk in person and when he's busy with other matters. Mark is extremely well connected. He was highly recommended to me and he exceeded my expectations. I'm ugly and bipolar, and he did a stellar job defending me.
It is unfortunate that people don't know how to work with attorney. They have a heavy case load and can't remember the details on the fly. They HAVE to refer to their files before giving an answer. Every case has it's own quirks. And people micromanage because they are infinitely more vested in the outcome (unless it's a contingent fee!--then BUYER BEWARE. you receive a 1/3 and get taxed on 100%).
Mark even told me that. How honest is that? BTW, the outcome was better than I expected. Thank you Mark. You really helped me out of a legal nightmare.

At first, John seemed like the type of lawyer that would actually help you about your case. I paid a retainer for the first part of the service and he helped me out.
As we progressed into our case, John was practically absent. I was the one asking for updates on the work without any updates until days later. He sent me a new retainer and I wanted to ask questions about the retainer and he absolutely found no time to discuss with me (even after mentioning that he would call me and I waited 2hrs).
I personally think you can find a better lawyer for the price he's asking for suggest not going to his practice.
